Why do Rangers have the best of everything?

1) Easiest execution of deadly high damage precision shots with no time delay and almost immediate. (unlike Mages lightning/Meteor, DK no need mentioned here as they are well-known the slowest)

2) Fast Usain Bolt running speed (like pvp lvl45 talent which is best for 5v5)

3) Comparable HP and armour to DK and is ranged attackers

4) Awesome slowing enemies skills (the walking trees and the spiking roots)

Rangers can´t get 4k armor and 10k hp...

DK the slowest? LOL! P2W DK´s are the invincible ones
But that is the point of playing ranger, fast dmg in few seconds, but after that they dont do much before they get the concentration back

They complain about having the baddest lv 40 pvpskill... LOL! But yes, it is a good skill

Yes, tree is VERY annoying, but who the hell walks in to the spiking roots?

Talking about OP? sry Daywalker2, but YOU are the OP one after what i have seen from youtube and rumors everywhere

All in all: MONEY IS THE OP CLASS!
Some say SW is the OP ones, a friend of mine that have played this game since the start and have worked for BP is complaining that DK is the OP ones(he speaks pretty well for that), and a lot are saying that rangers are the OP ones...

Can't you guys hear yourselves? DK are OP, Ranger are the strongest, mages are the best bla bla bla, only moaning and complaining, grow a pair and play the game...

 

rangers have 2 sets what they can use. damage or amror. with using damage sets. armor is really weak. with armor set. pfff bite a nail to kill that sucker xD trust me i know xD

 

Why are

Some people are so ignorant and blinded it is almost funny. Rangers are not best at everything. In terms of defense, DK > ranger. In terms of offense SW > ranger. Ranger is more like a well-rounded class, it has more defense than SW and more offense than DK but never best at them.

Or, just go play a ranger, no one is stopping you.

 

One wonders as to the actual motivation of individuals that constantly make these "everyone else is OP" posts.

 

If you have bad gear, no skill and poor understanding of game mechanics, all other classes seem OP. But only compared to your character.

 

It's just the unbalanced matchmaking system.

 

here why rangers are op.

checkout kill to death ratio. let me know which class can ever reach that? the dmg they inflict is just crazy. tegan got about 10-15 of these rangers. i guess most are working for dso thats why devs nvr try and balance ragners in anyway

 

hey i'm pretty sure that's me right there if not i just wanted to say the only reason rangers like me are strong is because we spend thousands. No need to try to nerf rangers as a whole maybe you should spend thousands too arcane

me? whoz me here? .. help me a little, i dont who m talking to and dont blame me ur signature does not reveal anthing as u dont have one .

so what do you think devs should do here? if u have spend thousands i have spent 10x game play hours .. clearly devs dont give a EDIT about f2p and i dont have a problem with that if a player is new and say a years old but what after that? is there no way a f2p could survie out here even if he grinds for years? there has to be a line where this insanity of god mode should end right? or is dso really that screwed that it could not be fixed?

plz go ahead m really eager to see any sw heavy p2p or not get that kind of kill/death ratio.

do i need to mention check the each members of team? so this is basically 2 dks and 2 ardent koto vs 1 ranger and 1 ardent koto sw.

 

Please, if you had just used your brain a little bit harder you would have realized that having weak players on that ranger's team actually allows him to get all the kills to himself and not ks'ed by the team members. Also rank can be very misleading. When I was a centurion I was eating KOTO's for breakfast.

And just because you are weak doesn't mean rangers are OP. Just spend more $$ and get to his level or else don't complain, especially when the SW class is also "OP". Money is all that matters in DSO. Those who got the money (that ranger), will win and those poor folks (you), will lose. I thought you'd be smart enough to know this now. Or perhaps you're just jealous that he spent more than you?

If all we need are screenshots of a few pvp match to prove a class is OP, all 3 classes would have been nerfed to the ground by now.

 

Having played quite a bit now I would say that:

- If you have the money you can make a DK almost unbeatable. The latest healing skill unbalanced things somewhat. On the flipside having a weak or underpowered DK is easily the worst position to be in.

- SW are the best class in my opinion. They have so many useful skills and ways of being played and fireball is like a precision shot that needs no mark.

- But I still love my ranger and wouldn't swap him. It's a weird class when you have so much damage potential but the opponents have to be marked for it to really hit good and if you let off you powershots with no success you are a sitting duck until concentration and skills restore.

 

true, but they are the best of both worlds. No real weaknesses make them hard opponents.

 

Rangers CAN get 10k hp, wake up friend.

 

Oh please, dk's barely even touch rangers and mages.. especially mages lvl 45 with the 45 mind control talent, and i can even show proof, not of screenshots, but of VIDEOS!



P.S. ALL classes have their own special ability which makes them strong in some points. So i mean there's NO OP class than the other. All are the same, you just need money, skill, and experience of how to play the class carefully.

 

Of course rangers have weaknesses. Every class has weaknesses. But instead of telling you here you should figure it out yourself .
