    Hi guys,

I simply hate the R134, especially the loot comparing.
I read all the posts in the Feedback R134 and 99% of them are negative ones (like most feedback we give)...anyway, so how about an option to hide this dreadful loot compare???

Really its getting on my nerves:mad: + very confusing:confused:, every time i look at one item to sell or melt....I'm wondering "did i sold the right one???", melting is even worst, there is no going back after you made the mistake.

So, vote in favor or against, in the end it won't matter much, because DSO team never listens to the community anyway...still, I would like to know how the majority feels about this!!!

Btw, what happened to our "Wishlist 2" from 2012, to be implemented in 2013???

I want it to disappear and I want my gems to come back to normal. Now gems in items are SOOOO hard to tell apart and look so ugly.

Thats true, but DSO never undoes anything that they implemented, they don't care if the players have a hard-time in playing(bugs) or simply are unrewarded by loot drop.

As long P2P keeps on paying, there is nothing we community can do to stop these useless updates and fake promises made by DSO.

DSO will only make good updates the day the P2P is unhappy....but guess what, P2P class is very happy since the beginning of 2014 or BP would had made millions of euros every year and their profits haven't stopped raising since 2007.

So, as you can see for BP its all about number and not happy F2P players.

It *almost* seems like they are tired of administrating and supporting this game and are, therefore, trying to send it to an early grave. (Or maybe it is time for the grave, I don't know.) New features are so lame, so poorly implemented and just... bleh. And they claim they're "working hard on bug fixes", but we have all seen the results of that statement: just pathetic, uninspiring and incompetent.

I voted yes in the poll, of course. As soon as I saw this as an early idea on Twitch, I wrote in the CM feedback thread that they were trying to implement this in the wrong way and it would be better not to have it at all. I didn't realize just how visually ugly it would be as well. Total phail-ure.

I just ignore the new windows completely and click through to melt everything. I'm only trying to make legendary amulets, claws and (sometimes) rings anyway. Everything gets melted until I have enough CoTs to ID one of those, then I just make one from map2 purples. The gems look shriveled and weird, but I guess I can adjust to that (shouldn't have to though).

They really should have an option to turn the whole system off, as suggested. Will they do it?; are the capable of doing it?; is it hard-wired into the code (and will cause massive bugs if changed in any way)?; are they just too lazy to do it? Answers: almost certainly no; probably not; almost certainly yes; definitely yes.

Good idea, though, Bearer - even if they can't or won't do it.

In my opinion, the compare option is utterly useless except perhaps for the severely mathematically impaired. Programming time would have been better spent on bug eradication, and I bet that the latter would make the players happier.
You can implement pointless changes because some of the higher-ups feel like it's a good idea, or you could try to listen to the community which is actually balls-deep in the game and knows what it's on about, entirely your choice.

hahahahahaha!!! :D:D:D:D...haven't laughed this much for very long time.
The only good thing that DSO has right now, is this awesome community members.

Its a shame that so many good members have left forum, perhaps even the game.

Well actually it was XZarnak post, that gave me this idea!!!
    About this....
    You're absolutely right...I didn't thought of that!!!
We all know how good this "new dev team" really is, everyone has seen and felt their work first-handed.
How many more "Bugs" will they release into the game, if they start to mess with the code??? probably a horde of them!!!

Perhaps i should remove this thread, because of its consequences to the game...and to ME(I'm too young to die:(...I don't wanna die:( ohh god what have i done!!!!)

Nah, leave it here. It's a good idea, whoever thought of it first. It's not our/your fault the current dev team ignores logic and is incompetent.

Absolutely, positively (and many more adjectives) would like to be able turn this thing off. Perhaps someone with less than basic math skills might think they need this... even then from what I have seen so far the info can be misleading.

    Luck be with ye,

    well...

As to DSO's millions of players, I reckon millions of accounts may have been created, but a little investigation throughout the last week may be revealing...

As a note, I was never a WoW player, but did spend some time on Everquest. On a SLOW day, LOTS of people could be found in Freeport (the EQ equivalent to Kingshill).

Whereas, the most players found in Kingshill reached about 25 over the number of times I checked.

We go to "town" to buy, sell, reload (essence), melt. Of course, these functions are available in a number of town locations (I did a quick recon for the 4 most popular by switching characters, and tried this on two servers, the busiest and lighter load PvE servers).

If millions were playing, it would be difficult to find less than 100-200 toons in town.

Yeah, If I would be in game business, and had made update like 134, I would rollback it immediately.

The loot comparison should be by default off, could be turned on from settings.
Also how the jewels are now displayed in items sux big time...

The new start for drakensang what came a while ago was quite good improvement, but I have to honestly say, that last update was not...

Yeah, it's not just ugly and unnecessary - it doesn't even work the way it's supposed to. I just happened to mouse over a white helmet I picked up while farming and noticed it said I would lose 92 armor. The white helmet had 42 armor and my dark helmet has over 550 armor. It is just bad programming, all-around.

Edit - Nevermind, it's just showing a red arrow saying "this one has less than that one". I guess that's the way it's supposed to work. It's not even doing the subtraction. What a joke.

Maybe a little bit late for this, but why couldn't loot compare have been an option offered by either a new NPC in town or some existing NPC? This way the people who want to compare can compare, and the people who don't want to compare don't have extra windows popping up in their faces while they're looking at their gear.

Fair enough ... even if I think it would be better to have "turn off" option in settings menu.
It is clear that players doesn't like this feature.
