Where can I find the DSO preload file ?

To have smoothier experience, I've download preload file of DSO. But now I need to free some of my HD space and I need to remove it. When I preload DSO, there is a textbox announcing that preload file size is more than 1GB, but when I search DSO with App Cleaner on my Mac, It's only show 2 files with sum of size estimated about 120 MB. So where can I find DSO preload file ?

 

With Windows it is ... /Temp/DSOClient
In your case it should be some equivalent. Probably you can use "echo $TMPDIR" ... "open $TMPDIR".
Though it is not one file ... there are hundreds of files.

 

A file cleanup program might be handy for you. Your computer can collect a lot of trash, especially if you visit a lot of cheap programs that do not clean up after themselves or their installations.
You can use the command prompt %temp% to bring up the temp file, then empty all of it. The DSO thin client will put a new 1 in for you with each new release or patch. The Temp file itself is a permanent feature.
A lot of people with temp file problems will also have a lot of trash in their registry. It really slows things down. Your computer will have to sort through all the garbage to find the good stuff, every time. Many virus programs will have a registry cleaner program built in. Older computers had a Registry Cleaner program, from Windows I think.
Some of the free virus programs should be good enough to get both jobs done.

Don't relate but I am raiding Heredur's King, please let me know do the level can effect boos loot drop, I kill him 3 times but no Heredur's barrage found. Now I'm in level 21.

 

Experienced users should manage the settings manually ... but you can use default settings. Yes you should do the scan(analyze) first ..then delete.

About Heredur's Barrage ... it is a random drop ... you can get it in the first kill or after 100 kills.

 

LOL, right after I state that question, I've obtained Heredur's Bukles already in 4th times, It seem to be I have more fortune than i think
Can you help me with the problem of inventory, I have full inventory of extra orditional and legendary item, I don't have enough Crystal of Truth to identify all of em ( and when i try, the optional stats is terrible ). So should i'melt all of them, and how can we take great optional stats for my set.

 

Your level is low ... you should not bother yourself with items too much. Use any blue to purple item you have. If I were you I would melt Heredur's Barrage without hesitation. You are already higher level ... this item is no good to you anymore.
Save your COT's for later.

 

In my case, Herredur's is the best shield i have. Can you tell me the item better for my level? And where and how i can obtain it ?
I feel upset with my stats now, it even isn't good enough for me to farm creeps, any way I can build my DK for better stats ?

 

As you level up, new items from vendors become available. At the start of the game you level up quite quickly and new, better, items become available frequently. Soon you will be able to buy a white ball (no enchantments, costs only silver) which has better stats than Heredur's. Do not worry about stats until you reach lvl 45, when you get there you will get all new gear which will have stats completely different from your current ones.
