Using the Calendar Feature

Now that there is a Calendar Feature, will DSO post the planned events on it in advance?

the events will be in the calendar feature on the forum.
If it is on advanced that depends on the team.
If the team give a go to post a date etc. etc. in the OA than we can place it also in the calender feature.

Let's use Halloween event as example here....

Only about 2 weeks left for Halloween, I honestly hope the "team" doesn't post it a day or two before the event actually starts.

Not to sound critical or anything, but if that's the case what would be the use of a calender? Know what I mean?

 

Now what if the team doesn't know until two days before the event?

 

Isn't the team the group that makes that call? I'm honestly asking cause I'm not sure of the chain of authority.

It sounds like something will be posted on the calendar, if and when someone posts something on the calendar.

I check the calendar from time to time and have once again heard through the grapevine of an upcoming event ... It is supposed to start the 8th of next month (April 2015), and run till the 18th of the same month ... if this is so, why is it not on the calendar ... and could someone at least put something on the calendar so we know the feature actually works ... Like highlight a few days when you think something is going to happen ... Put some question marks by it and state like, "If we are good" or something. I just went back and looked and the last thing I see written on the calendar is back in November of 2014 ...
