Winter Solstice Daily Login Bonus

So, we're supposed to get such a bonus, containing 100 Snow Essences and 40 Sugar Beets, throughout the event, with every daily login, right? I got it yesterday, when the event went live, but not today. Why is that? Or am I missing something here?

 

Hello Morinphen,

You should receive the event bonus once in 24 hours. If 24 hours haven't passed since you have collected your first bonus, everything is ok and you will get it later. If it's been more than 1 day, please contact our Customer Care Team and you will be assisted further.

Update/Edit: It looks like the bonus only has to received once, at the begnning of the event.

Oh, so that's how it works. I should be getting it later tonight, then. I thought it followed the same pattern as the regular daily bonus. Thank you for the answer!

It does not. Not for me, not for anyone.

 

Was online and got my first bonus when the event started yesterday. At the moment its 34 hours after that and still no bonus.

 

must be a bug - i did not receive any additional event packs/gifts yet, and has been well over 24 hours - reporting to support is hardly worth the effort... will likely take them well over 1 week to help you, and by then ....well ))

 

Got my first gift and it has been 27 hours since and no follow up gift, will this be corrected?

l only got once since the the event begins.

 

Houston, we have a problem... again . I thought I'd almost miss it yesterday, due to a maintenance (thankfully, it was a short one), but no luck. As the people above have said, still no Winter Solstice Stocking. I really hate giving in to the voice of the crowd, but I'm becoming less and less surprised that people use the sintagm "BugPoint" around here...

Well that bites... in previous years, that was a primary source of ess for many who were fed up with the snowman insanity. Now they don't even have that to fall back on.

 

Misunderstanding? More like false advertising to me. If it was a change was made compared to last year's event, it should have been communicated clearly to avoid this current sort of inconvenience. If I were to be serious, I'd probably ask for compensation to make it up... but meh, why am I not surprised?

The misunderstanding - and with all due respect I would not call it false advertising - since it was not communicated anywhere in the announcements or walkthrough) comes from last year's event I guess Since this is extremely similar to past Winter Solstice events, this aspect was automatically assumed as well.

Ayy don't attack teddy bear - it is hardly her fault that there are no brainers making this game.
I don't even understand why are you surprised by this, I kindly explained that something like this event cannot be done by humans with brain.
They copy paste something as big as this event; they couldn't think of ONE reward as replacement for cot and the only change they did is taking our daily gift away. I don't smell any intelligence here.
We can only hope that there will be some kind of a NICE surprise in these 30 days...

 

I completely agree - "Don't Poke The Bear" -- she gets the same lack of clear communication from the DSO staff as the rest of us, we're all "on our own" to figure out whatever current bit of insanity is going on between the designers/developers.

By the way, this is the PRIMARY reason why I'm playing another game now and only spending a few minutes each day on DSO. I'm disappointed in the lack of communication from the DSO team (particularly our Community Managers), but since most of the staff can barely write a coherent sentence, I'm not surprised by "mostly silence".

And so far, the DSO Advent Calendar appears to offer only "low-cost trinkets", like most real-world Advent Calendars. A "special gift" on Christmas Eve would be a welcome surprise, but a block of coal is more likely.

 

Was really riding on that daily bonus...seeing as I've maybe clicked 30+ snowmen, each giving 2 ess each, no joke. At 7500 atm with only 4 normal and 1 hard boss under my belt. Constant farming on normal map for 80 cookies a run is boring. I do like the event, not complaining, but that stocking would help me and alot of other players, even if its only 100 ess.

Also, I agree, not teddys fault.

 

Anyone else notice on this event, the lack of an event notifier? The thing that normally slides down the left side of the screen when you log in, looks like a blue chalice? I've never seen an event or sale that didn't have it, EVERY time you logged in.

So what? you are asking yourself. The stocking was associated with this notifier and it only popped up that very first day. Me thinks this is an error being passed off as intentional.

i tend to agree with big papa that there is an error/bug, as even in the description on the item we received suggested that the ambassador of festivities will give heroes a small reward daily throughout the duration of the event - in the text while hovering over the stocking !!!

Thank you teddy bear for responding to this thread, although i fear you are receiving as much mis-guided and incorrect information from the designers/devs as all of us players.
