    What I have said:
Show me one level 45 player that uses this sword upgraded beyond level 45. Sword without enchantments!
An you are so wrong about COT. You may use moon event gear or upgraded white noob weapon ... but nothing beats good legendary weapon.

What's the best weapon and why?

The Battleaxe originally also came with 2 slots. Thanks!

The first is better. 60% weapon damage means that for each +10 ruby you put on it, you actually get +16 damage. Also, if you level that sword up, any damage gained by that +24 line will also be increased. Finally, it is also the faster weapon which makes it more useful in PvP. The Axe may be better at first, but as gems are added, that is when you will begin to see that difference. The only caveat I have for this is if you have crappy damage gems (less than 4 polished), then, you may be better off with the axe. Also, you've already invested the ander in unlocking the two extra slots in the axe.

The blade. Slightly higher dps to begin with. If you open a couple slots like you did on the axe and stuff some rubies in there those % incr dmg will yeild a much higher dps. (e.g. if you put 4x polished rubies in there the dps on the blade will go up 76 while the same gems in the axe would increase the dps 44.) The crit chance mod on the axe is kinda of waste. I prefer to get my crit from gear other than wpn.

    Luck be with ye,

Thanks for the advice guys. Didn't knew the the damage increase enchant will also benefit the dmg gems.

I spent all my ander opening slots for the axe, and 1 or 2 runs later dropped this blade :)

I'll keep the blade for future use, and til then i'll use the axe.

i hope this is the best 1 hand weapon u ever seen :) but anyway ... tell me your opinion about this

So ... after 2-3 hours i found this weapon

if i look closer, they are pretty much the same, lvl 37 41 dmg-lvl 45 42 dmg, lvl 37 47% wep dmg- lvl 45 45% wep dmg, only thing thats different is lvl 37 critical hit 240 and lvl 45 att speed 6.5% ...
my critical hit chance is very low ... about 600 crit hit chance.

So ... which of these 2 weapons should i use ???

I think at level 45, that level 37 sword would show about 185 dps but have 240 more crit. I prefer the level 45 sword with speed, mainly because i don't want to farm the glyphs needed to take the level 37 sword up to 45 and i prefer to get my crit from my adornment, rings, and amulet.

Someone with a lot of rubies and glyphs but little anders might prefer the level 37 since it does have one more slot (so only need to buy one slot to open 5 slots) and has slightly better boost on the rubies.

    What to use?

the equipped weapon or the axe: http://postimg.org/image/s3yy87zjx/
in the sword with percent i want to put 5 stones 15 damage, the same in the other one.
    So, what do u think?

With 5 +15 gems, the two are pretty close; i calculated 318 dps with the sword and 319 dps with the axe.

If the sword came with 4 slots such that you only have to pay for the first unlock price to get the 5th slot i would probably go with the sword to save anders.

Edit: the other factors to look into are glyph upgrades- I'm not sure of the cost or how the dps will be adjusted, but i think that the + damage increases with glyphs but the weapon damage % and speed % does not. Also, if you are a heavy essence user, the axe is slower and hits harder, so it would use up less ess per damage dealt.

Both weapons where with 2 slots ... dps might be almost the same but look at the damage, the axe have bigger base damage, base damage is higher with the axe ... that counts or not? with sword i have 500-800 plus and with axe i have 650-850 plus ....

    See my edits/additional comments above.

The sword is faster but hits weaker, the axe is slower but hits harder. But at level 45 with 5 +15 gems, both hit for the same.

Other thing to keep in mind is the sword, being faster, will build rage faster and allow for more frequent special attacks. That can be useful in pvp.

Nice speed, but with no damage percentage and only 31 damage, it is really weak. A sword like that would tickle more than hurt.

Now that is a nice mace...I'm generally not a fan of maces because they are so slow (same speed as a 2H sword), but that one is actually respectable.
