I would like to see him solo mortis with blues. My guess would be that it can be done in 2 to 3 minutes, since he might need to use healing talents more.

 

And as I said on the 2H thread, He could probably solo Mortis with greens using that sword... So verrrrrrry jealous of that weapon.

 

I'd love to see a video of him with greens.

 

Considering that this is the damage output most players who abused the Dragan set bug could reach, he made them look like weaklings.

Ranger is a junk class in this game, always been and always will be.
People complain that with the red arrow we do lot of dmg but, as far as i see playing, there is no much difference and so DKs amd SWs kill me faster.
They have more dmg, DK 2 handed weapon can reach far more then my total dmg with critics i can never NEVER reach.

 

Hmmm. I fail to see the point. If you kill it quickly or slowly, if you kill it with zero souls or 50 souls, if you kill it with Moon Walk emote on, if you kill it with a friend or a noob, if you kill it while sipping a glass of Jack Daniels; you will still likely see a pile of poor drops. Is he able to use a minimum amount of resources, probably. The goal would be minimum resources and having a bit of fun.

I don't care what people say, this is solid prove that DK is an OP class. DK skills are OP, DK weapons and gears are also OP.

Find me a ranger, any P2P ranger with all royal gems and upgraded lv50 gears and he would still bow down to this DK.

This, ladies and gents, is the DPS potential of a DK.
DK's other potential, and that is the TANK potential is also very OP.

DK is supposed be a tank class, now with all the updates DKs are number one at both tanking and DPS.

 

Not even a single pot used. LOL

Anyway, this video should be impressive, but not surprising.

 

I don't understand why you can't see the obvious.

The point is that
1. He uses less resources
2. He can solo it easily. Which means he can do it anytime and does not need to waste time finding a group for it.
3. What he farms in 1 hour from Mortis would probably take others 5 hours to farm. How many hours can you play in a day? How does it make you feel knowing that what you have achieved in 5 hours of playing DSO someone else can just do in 1 hour?
Of course, all this would be pointless if you have quit DSO.

Then again, this is ridiculous because it defeats the purpose of DKs being tanks. Now all the DKs would just try to find OP 2H weapons and solo bosses themselves instead of tanking for a group.

Who's left to be the tanks? Rangers?

 

LOL, You think we aren't? If it were easy to get a weapon this godlike, we'd all have one. Instead, this is one of those 1:1,000,000 swords the likes of which may never be seen again. Plus, if it were not for DK's with good DPS, Mortis would be impossible anyway (or at least more trouble than he'd be worth)... here's why. When you join a normal Mortis group, the RAs and SWs take care of the souls using greens or maybe blues while the DK generally uses blues-reds so that it takes a reasonable time to kill the boss. The only function that most of the classic damage dealers is so that the counter doesn't hit 1000/1000. The DK does all the work and the rest of the team benefits from his expenditure. The DK is the most likely do die from a random high hit from Mortis and, if they are not an excellent DK, the group will fail... a weak player of any other class on soul control will not make or break the group the way a week DK would. Moral of the story, be happy for the guy and how lucky he got, but then also be afraid of them if you ever see then in PvP.

P.S. I'm still waiting for a boss that makes the support classes work as hard a the DK's have to work for Mortis. The closest we come now is Khalys when the damage dealers need to take care of the clones, but that barely counts given how easy that is.

 

At least you DKs have a sword like that to find. Rangers have the sucky longbow which is basically a slower shortbow...

On top of that only you DKs can feasibly use 2H weapons in PvE and boss fights because you guys have that OP spin skill that heals you. SWs or Mechanics can't even use 2H because then they would die fast. The fact that it uses 60 rage also does not matter because of DK's OP mechanism of regaining rage from taking damage.

I'm DK myself and won't disagree with you, cause I know exactly how OP we are especially after the changes that has been made. Give me 10k euros & gear and I present you a DK that can win against anyone and do everything solo.

The thing is just, you should already quit if this makes you mad, cause the devs won't care and overall there are worse things in this game that I can asure you will p*ss you off later on. Lol.
