    Hmmmm. I think that is pretty much what I said earlier.

    Let's define Target Crafting for the un-initiated. Target Crafting is taking four(4) identical items of the same level and placing them onto the Workbench. The result is an upscale version of the exact 'type' of gear at the exact level needed. There are variations on the theme, but this is Target Crafting at its core. It's been in here for a very very long time.

    What I added further above was the ability to 'pay' for enchantments while Target Crafting only. Think shopping cart:

    Enchantment Options:
    [ ] Qty: 0 Speed Enchantment [1000g per Qty)
    [ ] Qty: 0 Armor Enchantment [1000g per Qty)
    [ ] Qty: 0 Block Enchantment [1000g per Qty)
    [x] Qty: 4 Offense Enchantment (500g per Qty)
    [ ] Qty: 0 Defense Enchantment (100g per Qty)

    Total Enchantment Cost: 2000g

    You want gaurantees? Pony up the gold.

    Is it pricey as heck? Yep.

    Does it give you pretty much what you want within the bounds of a range? Mostly.

    Is it fair to both F2P and P2P? I frankly don't care about making things equitable. That isn't possible.

    Is it UI complex? Of course. Will it ever happen? Nope.

    Will everyone continue to cry about what is fair and not fair and there crazy ideas about drop rate increases and decreases? Yes, so long as they have a keyboard and can randomly type letters into the forum? Yes, we endure your tears everyday.

    Target Crafting is here now. You just don't have Enchantment selection.

    Players have really great idea i wish dso could implement them at least in Test server and see how it goes and guys dont forget about the ander price for gem slot increase thats harsh too need that balanced

    It would have to be very pricey to offset the amount of real-world money they would lose when the p2p stop buying andermant to gamble for gold at the Jesters. (That's the short version of the dissertation I wrote on the last page :oops::D )

    I do agree with a lot of your analysis. I do. I believe the game only works when the population size is huge which means P2P and F2P shouldn't be at odds with one another. My comment should be taken in that context. I simply don't care about finding 'fair' between these two audiences because it is derisive and technically impossible. That is why I don't care about 'fair'. I do embrace P2P and F2P as equals in a game world where they are dependent upon one another.

    Agreed. It's never going to be 100% equitable. If it was, no one would pay for the experience. They have to make paying worth it, somehow.

    I've been a p2p - although in the low $100's (not $1000's) - and I'm now doing the completely-f2p-thing. (Easier for a tanked-up DK who doesn't die much.) I can see both sides of the coin. I'm not an advocate for total fairness. Some sort of balance between "fair" and "worth the money" is the ideal.

    It's kind of an evolving thing, I think. As they introduce new ideas, they have to re-balance some things. But an almost completely fair system between f2p and p2p would mean no one gets paid much, which would eventually be the end of the game. No one wants that, except maybe the players who have taken out a second mortgage to buy andermant :) - it would be the easy way out of the addiction!

    We all know there is no way to be perfectly fair.. plus paying customers should get something, that's how life works...

    Happy customers spend more money, simple as that.

    I not saying that some randomness couldn't exist in the crafting process, but not as much as it is now.

    Now if I craft 4 wands, obviously I get a wand. That part of the process is fine. It's the meaningful part that is all too random.

    If I go through the trouble to find 4 wands that all have 2 damage enchantments, 2 crit enchantments along with 4 open gem slots, it would be nice to get a similar piece once crafted unlike now where I craft those 4 wands with similar enchantments and 4 slots only to end up with who knows what enchantments and 2 gem slots. The random could be in the mix, but not substituting damage for something completely different.

    The ability to have somewhat of a targeted crafting would increase farming, but it would give us somewhat of a goal instead of just the mindless grind.

    Now option 2 would be increase the drop rate to something that makes sense.

    If we knew more pieces would drop, we would want to farm more to sell/melt in the hopes of getting good gear.

    Now of course this would eventually require some effort on the part of the devs to create even more interesting gear so we would constantly want to upgrade.

    To make happy gamers one only has to look at the millions of complaints on every game forum.. Increase the drops, create fresh gear, create fresh maps, create new bosses and new events... This is what inspires people to play more and to spend money instead of being frustrated out of their minds.

    :confused: can you tell me what game you play ?

    And 2000g means 2000 gold ? :confused:

    One example:
    Daily quest " Produce 3 objects on the workbench" and you'll get "rewarded" with a purple item.
    How much does it cost to produce 3 objects on the workbench and what's the reward ?

    I really wish the CM's would pay more heed to the feedback from Rhysingstar and others here. I've been playing about six months and have a variety of characters ranging from mid level pvp to end game. Being perfectly candid, my initial thought when I saw the new crafting prices from R139 was questioning whether the people who came up with it actually play this game. Prices were quickly reduced 37.5-50% but we all know it still isn't right. On one hand you say you don't want to remove crafting from the game, but R139 essentially did exactly that, and anyone could have told you that was going to happen. My concern isn't just for end game players, I had a fresh level 20 that would have had to spend 2/3 of their gold total just for a level 19 blue hat.

    I don't have to agree with every change a game makes to keep playing it, but with all the bugs that are taking away parts of the game that I want to work on, it's really difficult for me to justify paying for a game that is unplayable in so many ways. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. I don't think it's asking too much for a clean playable game, but frankly I don't see much concern or effort in that regard. I have never played another game where bugs would persist for a week or more, and that just seems to be business as usual here. That is unfortunate, because this has the potential to be a really good game.

    As I understood in what someone wrote here the game is free, and the name of the game is Drakensang Online, not poker or casino or something like that.
    So to grind for 2000 gold it takes a lot of hours, or it takes a lot of money plaiyng something that's not called DSO, it's called the jesters.
    This is what I understood from what's written in this topic, if you care or not it's your problem, and my poor english it's funny when I imagine you writing something in my language, I'm sure you can't.
    So I think you just gave a funny or bad example and so on, but as you wrote, you don't care.
    Kindly regards or something like that. :)

    Greg , about the event "Defeat the undefeatables":
    -It would have been nice to have a mission to kill all bosses in Stalgrad 2 times with a decent reward like 80 pins.
    -It would have been nice to have guaranteed portal drop / kill / Destructor with a decent reward 150 pins / 2 kills.
    -It would have been nice to have a final reward, a Mantle with HP, damage, critical damage, armor, speed.
    -It would have been nice that instead of Chameleon suit that's just a costume, to have another kind of costume that offers something in + (+ hp, armor, impact or whatever) to be like a pet, and players could use that kind of costume in combination with anykind of pet, would have been something else, because we have many suits that do nothing, just change the look of the character and is useless for players.
    -It would have been nice that in Stalgrad the drop of white items =0, beacause we’re talking about lvl 45.
    -It would have been nice to guarantee the drop of special map portal at the other bosses.
    So it would have been nice to have a nice event, but it's not, shitty event like usual.
    Didnt BP say that they want to diminish the grind in this game ?

    Would have been fun to have a kind of event like I wrote above ?
    Yes, it would have been.
    My consumption of blue essences is 30.000, and progress event is 1044 ( did only 2x Destructor and 2x Kristoff many times ), not nice really, and not worthing, cause it's too much for an event that is not nice at all and do not forget that we can buy pins ( this is despicable ).

    not in the universe the dev's live in. They constantly irritate the player base with silly things to that extend that every time one thinks why the hell I'm still playing here ?

    stalgard is the beginner level 45 map; its the map fresh 45s with weaker gear can do. If you need/want better drops, thats what the parallels are for.

    What would have been nice is more options for the bosses, including killing parallel bosses for event rewards. The binary kristoff/destructor option for level 45s makes the event a grind, and i am sure its similar at other levels. What could have done is including other boss combinations in between, such as hard bosses or killing map 2 bosses (example, kill 5 knights in map 2 for a reward inbetween kristoff's 24 and destructor's 85 honor pins, as well as a khalys or mortis option, etc,)

    This is not in benefit of one or two players but for all ... F2P, p2p, newcomers, veterans ... everyone is confused.

    Hey BP guys (and girls ofc.) I'm 45 lvl F2P player DK. I am playing drakensang since 2012 I've never bought any andermants for moneys,
    could you please make something for players like me. Something what would keep us in game, because in nowadays at all new features players have to put moneys. I wish you understand me and if there any players like me, find me in grimmag server, my nickname is Mechanicaldragon

    I say this in all fairness, "Lol". A reward would be nice yes, but not so much deserved. No one does. Game is already unbalanced, why tip the scale more

    Guys when will release 143 come live? I want to that in test server but there is says server maintatance cool down time 00:00:00 then it says connection to server is established! ???
