How to find boots with 4x speed

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find a pair legendary boots with four speed enchantments? Do I have a better chance of finding it through drops or crafting? Any level is fine.

 

luck of the draw. I don't have any, I actually use an extraordinary with 2x speed and 1 armor line.

that being said, since you are going for 4x speed, and speed doesn't improve with glyphs, if you have some gold, you can try crafting low level boots up to legendary and see what you get.

edit: you might want to check my numbers and facts, but I think that level 43 and up can get up to 10% on a line(so a perfect level 43~45 boot would have 40% speed), whereas 42 and below gets up to 8.5% a line (so 4 lines would be 34%).

Edit: see big papa's post below. 43 and up can get 10% (for a 4x max of 40%), 42 and below can get 8% (4x max would be 32%)

 

Luck and luck alone will get you those mythical speed boots. Given how much rarer speed lines are these days compared to the pre CoT removal days, you are lucky to get 2 lines of speed, let alone 3 or 4.

 

You can get 10% on level 3 boots. I thing getting 4x% might be an attempt done in vain. I too think if you want to try do yourself a huge favor and farm Swerdfield Pastures for boots.

Since Blue is the highest you will find that is an extremely long wait to see an result.

 

According to the R139 patch notes:

• The minimum and maximum values of “Faster Run“ enchantments on boots have been increased from 3-7% to 4-8% on level 1-42 items and 4-10% on level 43-45 items.

So 40% would only be possible on 43+

As a 7 months player , lvl 45 ranger , i only found better speed on a pair of green boots dropped at lox when i was 30-33 lvl (11%). I tried to craft and find another boots at high lvls and never find them. Actually i found last week a leg 45 with 6.2% thats with me now. I keep checking all the time i find boots and I can say they are rare, and i farm a LOT. I really dont believe in crafting for speed, ud better gamble on jesters for the lucky of 2% gems lol. Fast boots nowadays are lottery premium.
