It has been a while since I've shown my stats, but here is the most recent numbers.

All defensive gems gems are finally flawless or higher. The offensive gems are all flawless with the exception of one radiant ruby and one radiant sapphire. Not much room for improvement now unless I can get a "god killer" style sword. The rest is just a mater of glyphs.
Here is the sword and weapon decoration.

Is fairly decent without doubt, potential to push even higher (damage-wise) 30% crit gloves, belt & shoes ofc, sure you already know. ;) Maybe posting mine soon, compared to you my focus is the damage output + speed.

Farming Q6 m2 with 5k HP & 1.5k armor without dying, enable to do Mortis solo too. (improving with time / gems). No bragging as such, just saying the defensive stats Dragan set gives are not needed to farm with. In case you ever would change setup - 2x death rings + legendary amulet etc.

Again, you probably know this too. So what to tell you? ;) GL with better 2h.

I am too cheep to switch gems back and forth between playing PvP and PvE and skills back and forth. For that reason, I need balance in a build, and the build I have is almost perfect for that.

Well, know what you mean. Considered using Dragan set only because of that, but had my DK for a few months so most of my life, resist & defense gems are not over radiant, farmed a few flawless though. So rather just keep farming setup on until I got gems worth entering "pay to win" PvP. (Talking about the top payers of Heredur).

Overall you're setup is nice, not everyone spends hundreds of euros in the Jesters having 72k gold lol, so I understand. :)

    Keep up the work. ;)

You're character is not bad, and has a great armor number and good hp and block rate. But your 2 of offensive stats (base damage, attack speed) are weak, and while your crit hit value is ok-ish, you seem to have no crit dam % bonuses. I see that you have some glyphed up extraordinaries and I imagine that is where the armor is coming from, and i am guessing your rings, amulet and necklace are hp and armor oriented. Getting some more offensive gear and offensive gems might be helpful, as well as switching from a mace to a sword (base speed is higher). It also looks like you have very little in the way of blue speed sapphires since your speed is not much more than the base mace speed.

It depends on your gameplay style, but I personally go with lower armor (slightly over 3500 right now) but have much more offense (low 900s base damage with 2.09 attack speed), and similar crit hit value with more crit damage (223%)

Also, get some white gem holders and free up some inventory space.

That's why I started this build, don't wanna look like everybody else in game. I have full Warlord (Dragan) set from first event but am not gonna use it, probably never again.

Nice built, well balanced, really what i would aim for. Luckly i will raise 12k Draken in next 7 years to take that set, lol :D

Novadude, thanks for the recommendations, that's a very good analysis!

I prefer a "tanky" oriented gameplay: going to the front, trying to block or slow down mobs and absorve damage, so that mages and rangers have more freedom to focus in attack. In fact, i've just replaced the dark helmet with a legendary that gives me more life, so i can stay confortabilly above the 8000 (while critical hit rate is reduced to 797).

    Have a good game!

One problem I find with being a tanky DK is that sometimes it is next to impossible to hold agro of the monsters because the DPS is doing so much DPS. I find that a DPS/Heal tank does better at holding agro when running in high end groups that would otherwise pull the agro and have me chasing the mobs while the SWs and RAs have to run for their lives (Thus defeting the purpose of having a tank to begin with). Unless LVL 50 introduces some sort of agro battle cry that also buffs you while fighting a monster that is agroed to you, I see traditional tanks as being a little less useful than they could be.

Agro=aggro=aggression. With the build you posted, you will not be able to hold Mortis aggro, e.g. to hold Mortis from attacking other players since average mage(below average of those visiting mortis) will have higher damage assuming you use the same essence. This setup will not be appreciated by teams fighting static bosses like Khalys either, because of very low damage.

This could be some kind of a all around (m2, q3 with a group) setup, maybe 5v5, but niche setups are much better. As Baragain said, DPS/Heal tank is much more useful. Unless, of course, there is some intention of this setup, which is not clear to me.

What Sebastian said. Agro is the ability to hold the monsters' attention. There are three basic kinds of agro in this game. Visual agro, damage agro, and forced agro.

Visual agro is when the mob goes after whoever it sees first. This is the lowest priority off agro.

The second type is damage agro. This is based on how much damage you are doing. If two people with different DPS are attacking the same monster, generally, the person doing the most damage has the mobs attention. Distance seems to factor into this some too in favor of melee range, but not as heavily as damage. This is second in priority too (higher than visual, lower than forced). If you attack a that monster that is chasing someone else who only has visual agro, you will "steal" the agro from them.

The last kind of agro is the highest priority and supersedes both other kinds. That is forced agro. The only two things that do this are the Dwarf-in-a-box skill and the SW's guardian (if the appropriate skill is selected). This can steal agro from anyone, with the exception of most bosses who are immune to the effect.

That covers the basics. There are exceptions like in defend quests where I think the monsters start with a biased damage agro for the NPC they are attacking. I think this because, with enough DPS, you can pull their attention to you from the NPC (the icy minion in the new moon event for example) There are also stationary bosses who will always only agro to a melee character if one is present (ex, Gorga, Sigris, Khalys). If more than one is present, normal agro rules apply between the melee characters. The last special case is damage agro resets. It seems that some bosses, most notably Mortis, have a moment when their agro can shift for no apparent reason. I think that this occurs after he does his spin that hits a quarter of the map. After he does this, his attention will shift to someone else if they hit before the tank.

Hope that helps explain agro better and more thoroughly, and also explains why in a high end group a DPS/heal tank may be a better option.

I don't know how you got idea that this is for boss fighting or for that matter anything else, I'll I sead is that it is a new build, nothing more. If you must know, this is for very hard maps & PvP that demand higher life and armor. BTW since my dmg is "low" you show your tank ;) and if you dont have one, you have no saying how F2P tank should be. PS: Can you do better then 1024-1067 with 280% critical damage and a lot more crit with 1h sword?

Ok, man I dont need a lecture, simple answer is fine.
