    Bug: Dive sets the hitbox immediatelly although it takes time to fly to position

    Details
    • Type: Ability: Dive
    • Class: Ranger
    • Browser, Fullscreen or windowed: Doesn't matter. It is a client mechanic and also works for some bosses like Khalys.

    • What do I expect: The character needs a certain time to travel, thus it should only be placed at the destination when it actually arrives.
    • What happens: As soon as you cast Dive, your hitbox is set to the target location; monsters will turn to your destination while you're not there, spells will hit you at the destination before you're there, and similiar.
    • Reproduce: 100%.

    • Similiar Spells / Mechanics:
      • Khalys Teleport, when she begins to teleport you will already shoot at her Destination although she has not even vanished from her old position;
      • (Blade Dance - possibly, haven't tested it)
    Reproduce (Khalys):
    • Hold your mouse button on Khalys with a ranged attack.
    • Wait until she teleports
    • See you shooting at the future destination.

    It's not a bug, it's a bad code design.

    Happy to not have this fixed. You will find it useful to avoid telegraphed spells from mobs like sargon Heredur, Khaly etc.

    I got to give the guy props though... it's been ages since I've seen someone report a bug using the proper format.

    Annoying as hell when you're auto-targeted in PvP, whereby the opponents attack goes directly to your intended position and there's nothing u can do for half a second. Ideally they'd change it or at least speed up the animation (all classes affected by this).
