How would you guys rate an Extraordinary Brocade Cap with 37 armor, 3 damage enchants that total up to +49, and one gem slot? Not exactly a Cap of Death, but pretty close. I'm saving some other items with damage on them (1-2 lines, mostly) because I realized I've been focusing on armor/HP a little too much. Once I hit lv43 (2 and a half XP bar segments to go) I will be able to test it (have the aforementioned cap, pauldrons, robes, amulet, adornment and two rings, even a book with some damage on it... had a sash too, but I somehow sold/melted it by accident). Most probably I'm not gonna equip all of those... because then I'd be neglecting defense, but testing the damage just for the heck of it will certainly be fun . It'd be awesome to be able to get a complete Roshan set (currently at 0/3, LOL... keep dreaming )... since I have damage on every item bar the sash, gloves & boots (not enough Knowledge to use capes yet).

In my wildest dreams I never imagined numbers such as 2722 max dam coupled w/2.07 atk speed possible w/my SW. Your HP seems very low and as someone mentioned earlier, your resistance values seem a little low, but with your dam and atk numbers, probably nothing else is needed, huh? I'm showing my ignorance here but if I don't ask I'll always remain ignorant, and probably will anyway, but what is a Glass Cannon? Perhaps it has to do exclusively with PVP which I quit playing over a year ago. Anyway, tnx!

 

Most probably:
+ green essences
+ 2 buffs
+ one additional buff for 10% damage (from Gnob)
+ 15% increased damage (Battle Instinct)
+ 25% increased damage (Battle Frenzy)
+ 20% increased damage from Sargon's Powerful Book of Shadows
+ 50% increased damage and attack speed from the arena buff (Improved Strategy)

His real damage with book of shadows would be something like +- 1000 - 1300

My real low is 1400 and high is 1890 with greens on.
Battle Instinct does not raise your damage on your character screen.

I see no value in high resistance for this particular build and thanks.

 

I believe it's a build where you focus exclusively on offense, hence the "glass" and "cannon".

One thing, though: I got Karabossa's Fairy Staff from the latest New Moon event with +57 damage & 480 crit (109-135 damage, 122,19 DPS with nothing added). Should I replace the wand in the thread linked with it? After transferring GoP and adding gems to the Karabossa weapon, I'd give about 30 damage for 480 crit and 2 extra gem slots. Thanks!

That's a lot of damage But I don't think he is using that kinda setup in pvp or at least most of the time.I think he is using just items for damage for screen shot lol
But anyway, it still looks good

 

*she*, but nevermind. - Yes she used Sargons book on this picture, just for PvE farm. You have to remember she most likely got the 4x 5% crit damage & 1% att speed gems so you can take away 20% crit damage + 4% att speed without

 

Just try to work more on the armor, life points, atk speed and critic... if you use this kind of setup in PvP, you'll die with just one lightning !
Remember... to take advantage of that damage... you need to be/stay alive first !

 

I'd swap out the blues for reds on the gems to take advantage of the increased weapon damage line. Put the blues in your weapon decoration.

 

Bet he has his red gems in the main weapon, which is wand.

 

I first heard this trope about a year ago. It's apparently common with game mages: they can't take much damage ("glass") but can sure dish it out ("cannon"). Rich in offense, poor in defense.

 

Like sebastian said, my rubies (even though not very high-tier) are in my 1H. That 2H is just the best 2H I've found so far (damned crit. damage line); stumbled upon it while re-strolling around the Atlantis region. The reason it has sapphires in it is because it's purely a gem holder for now. At 209 DPS, it's not outstanding enough to use. Maybe if I found one with 500 DPS, then we'd be talking about going 2H xD. Eh, maybe with lv45 ones.
