68 million plus glyphs to get those numbers.

They do look useful for you level 16 character right now, though. Maybe glyphs will be easier to get at level 50.

 

Belt and amulet are awsome , cap too but you'll probably wear something else...
And keep it an lvl up to 45, that is around 3m per pice i think...so when you find better melt it

Thanks. Yes, that is exactly my point. As I find better gear I might tempt to melt them, but if they are worth saving for later to upgrade and use closer to level 45, I will keep them which will cost me 3 inventory spaces. But, if you think they are worth, will save them for later.

First off, congratulations on the Yachak set . Secondly, your build is nice with one exception: that HUGE discrepancy between your minimum and maximum damage. I don't know for sure why, but as I've seen around, it's better not to have more than a 30% difference between min. and max. How did you manage to get it, anyway? Only via the Witch set?

Well the only things that gives me max dmg are the witch set (+22% max dmg bonus set) and chain of death(+40 max dmg).

 

I would try to get my attack speed higher by farming sapphires and rubies and anders (which are used to buy more gems). Also more resistance gems if doing pvp.

Also, keep farming glyphs and upgrading your pieces.

Witch chaser set does that. The individual pieces can each give up to +33 max damage and i believe there is a 22.2% increased max damage set bonus as well.

Edit: and the chain of death gives +40 max damage.

I'm using something similar for my dwarf in pve, but with legendaries for the rings and amulets during 5v5 flag defending and pvp cooldown periods.

Just reached level 45 before release 151. The pink bow & shield are the best I can find. I have legendary bow & shield but they are not that good. Can easily solo HOD with this build but it takes me some time.

What's the whole deal between having a gap between min. to max. damage? I mean, I can see why it shouldn't be too large, but then again the Witch set is one of the most popular ones out there.

You can keep upgrading the ring if you want, and when you get the 12k Draken set, melt it and upgrade that.

The arrows are very cool (you don't come by full-crit. adornments all that easy) so keep upping those too. If you find better, simply do the same as with the ring; melt & switch the GoP to the new piece. Might wanna consider opening gem slots too, if you have good gems to fill them with... but then you'll be hardly pressed to melt if you do find a better item. But now that I've looked at the lines more closely, it's most definitely a keeper, so it's safe to say that it's worth upgrading and opening slots on it.

Well, if you can solo M2, then you're doing pretty well. Sweet character!

 

You solo map 2 with that build?
How long does it take to complete a map 2 run with that build? 90 minutes?

 

More or less. Soloing means I can take it easy, go to to the bathroom, make some tea, eat some snacks, etc. Now it is getting easier since getting better equipements from drops. Being a ranger means you can use the terrain to your advantage.

 

The max damage does give decent damage on average, especially in pvp if you crit and roll the top of your range. But i think most people use it for the crit hit value. Hat can give up to 333 crit (mine has 331 at level 45 and +29 max damage) and full set also gives +33.3% crit hit value and i think 11.1% attack speed. With a bunch of crit lines in the rings, amulet and belt, you can get some decent crit chance numbers without low level legendaries.

 

Yeah, I thought so... crit. rate is definitely the strongest feat of that set. Thanks.

not played in a long time what is the best single handed sword in game now

 

Probably a legendary sword with either a perfect 2x or 3x weapon enhanced damage % and 2x or 1x +damage with 4 slots, so only 1800 anders to open the 5th.

That would be something like, for a 2-2, 80% weapon enhanced and +85 or +90 damage or, for a 3-1, 120% weapon enhanced and +42 to +45 damage at level 45.

My guess is that the 3-1 is the best.

Edit: Excluding legendaries, and among uniques, the best 1h sword still cloaked wrath (checking the wiki list, the only other 1h unique sword at or over level 40 is the deep sea claw). But legendary swords with 2x weapon enhanced damage are so much better.
