Well thats a pretty decent build provided if you could up your Hp to 7500(min. approx) and Armour 2800(min. approx)., and ofcourse your resistance to around 1k which is painstaking if you're f2p. As for the build my preference would be the latter (second posting) as you'll get more benefit from MWS(Mighty Wild Swing). Goodluck @Phoro, 'Lets Farm'

 

i just cant raise my hp only thing i do now is heavy farm m2...
resistances are just impossible and they will be even less after i (maybe) get my dragan set. But resists are not needed for mortis tanking, because i can dodge the breath.

 

you're doing the right thing and you will raise your values by running map2 (ideally with a mage in your group as often as possible to speed up and get double breaks). you'll get glyphs, gems and anders. Buy HP, resist, speed and damage gems, keep everything on the same level of gems. slowly glyph stuff up to about 47/48. At that point your HP and armor will improve.

6 months ago my pvp hp and armor and resist were around 7.3K, 3.35K, and 1.1K each (just before I fully committed to red ess set and decided to open the 5th slot on everything - playing a 1h dk); today it's 8.5K and 3.6k and 1.3K (that fifth slot makes a difference). I kept putting all my anders into gem increases, and I also glyphed my stuff from 45 to 48.

Since we're on the verge of the level 50 expansion, I would not open any slots at the moment. Just try to level your gems up on the same level.

 

Three builds... which one would you use? The first one is as seen, the second two would be with the listed modifications because I am too cheap to move my gems around for photo-ops.

Warlord, Dragonache, Red Ess Torso, Keen's
Total DPS: 4418


Add 20% crit damage and about 1100 HP from gems.
Witch Chaser, Dragonache, Keen's, 1k Gold Cloke.
Total DPS: 4935


Add 20% crit damage, about 1600 HP, 800 resist, and 255 armor from gems.
Witch Chaser, Steam gloves/amulet, Keen's Boots/Belt, 2x RoD, and 1K gold cloak.
Total DPS: 5447



So, what would you use if you were me?

 

Imo: 1st setup for PvP and tanking mortis/destr. Farming obviously 3rd setup for maximum dpi, defence not necessary as you are a dk.

If you don't like switching honestly I'd just stick with the first build because you have a bit of both, but depends ofc on your priority (mine is pvp).
Would consider switching to 3 if you want to hit lvl 50 asap when it rolls around.

 

For tanking mortis/destructor, or for solo farming at mortis i'd choose 1-st setup, but for easy farm like m2 or q3 i'd choose 3-rd setup. Good luck

 

3rd solution for pve 1st for pvp...you can easily tank mort with 3rd setup.
And i would kill for those stats with that gear

 

I wonder if there's a way you could work some of these setups gem-less if you don't like moving gems. I know one DK friend who uses his witch set gem-less. Always amusing when he runs with me, I think we're competing for who can potentially die faster, but not die.

That said, the CD on the 3rd one is delicious. *-* For farming on most maps, I think your heal abilities would outpace any damage taken from being squishy. Probably wouldn't use it for tanking major bosses though.

 

And the funny thing is that I could push the crit damage a little higher, and the crit a little higher, and the damage a little higher (5% CD, 267 crit, and 21-25 damage) but at the expense of about 400 hp and 400 armor. Then I would be squishier than some tanky SWs.

Nice damage! I wish my damage could hit that high without losing my CHR too much.
Still a little slow for my taste though, but with your current overall stats I believe you can still solo map2 easily.

Btw I was wondering how did you make your DK facing backward on inventory window?

 

That is a beast of a 2H sword! That would have been awesome as a legendary with another damage line. When you get some even better rubies, I'm sure you will be a very happy DK.

@TheDe4thTr4nce Thanks, yea agreed with the speed,still need to farm tons of gems. Mostly soloing m2 killing the first 2 bosses only..he2. As for the Backward shot..like Bara said..

Really nice sword, for a purple one.... Quite insane honestly.

 

I am trying to craft such a sword, and now has tried making atleast 6-8 crafted ones, but ending in some sort of crappy stats with less of eo stats. i am fed up, last time i got is 35+60 % inc + 45% cd and ending in another bad stat... totally fed up and no 2h leg falls for me which is at least better. even eos that falls has not good stats, but now a days, i am getting more of pollaxe than sword 2h, wonder why?

 

this is my last weird amulet... i dunno if it's good or not.. but quite rare indeed...

 

Interesting indeed. It would be nice if the two that are below 200 were closer to the other two, but even still, I don't know what sort of build it would fit into.
