Feedback Lor'Tac Bound Event

I don't want to mention those bugs, event of lacking information, endless and boring grinding game style. But why couldn't player fight level 48 foes in the realm chamber? We could craft level 48 items. It's more useful than anything else. Who will craft level 45 items just before level 50 coming in few weeks? Let us prepare, that's the point. Thanks!

 

true, but at least your chances are good to get 4 items and the 10% bonus. if you already had good gear, pointless, but if you didn't, it's nice to start the trek to 50 with uniques.

i personally would like to get the 2H (to play around with) and the boots (my pvp speed boots are weak). so i probably will aim for something like 8 to 12 chances, somewhere around 2000~2750 frags.

nice thing for me is that my realm frags were low, so these gleaming runs are really building them up. (i'm killing everything along the way for realm frags et al)

 

Yeah I am doing gleaming runs as well. This dungeon was pretty unappreciated till now. I like this dungeon most. A nice circular farm path, a small repeatable quest inside, UA is just beside, lvl high enough for Keen's(I got Fist from there actually)

 

It's a little strange not to see uniques drop in an event map. Maybe its more disincentive for twinks, along with running the map solo.
I have seen an occasional extraordinary item though.

 

I got a legendary 2h with crap stats.

 

first run I got a legendary from the event boss. Haven't seen one since, but I have gotten 3 or 4 level 42 legendaries running gleaming mountings. I think I have done approximately 30 runs at this point between my 2 characters.

 

This set is for level 46. No newer lv45 now will be newer by then

 

How about level 30 players? If they collect the fragments they can bypass the need of equipping level 45+ gear by then (when they reach level 45+).
And of course those who just turned level 45 now will benefit from that set too. You think level 45 gear and upgrading to higher level is 1 days task?

 

I know it's boring to farm like 3000 frags, but then i remember that i needed 11 runs to complete the yellow ess set, some friends got it after 6 runs, some others didnt, the same luck works in this case i believe; what are the chances...who knows? let's hope all of the 4 parts have the same % chance.

Now i think it looks awesome, but maybe it's the fact that i like everything about Aztecs and mexican culture , but that's me.

And how almost everyone here has commented, this set suits for everyone who lacks on a good set, or even legs, it's true it takes time, while my DK can do one run between 1-2 mins, my SM takes 8 mins more or less with blues....but my little toon needs it, so what can i do?

 

May I ask if all of the items in this event will all be gathered 100%?
Or just the 4 items that you usually see in the event such as boots, 2 handed weapon, etc.?

 

well im am completly confused to what is going on i collect things to let me into black holes ,went into one black hole and clicked on cage, some thing happen to the cage cant remember it was a week ago since then cages do nothing i collect fragments ,havnt seen or heard any thing about Yaltepetl so what am i suppose to be doing for this event ?

 

Please excuse my ignorance, but I've played the Lor Tac thingy several times, gained the tablet drops & destroyed all the monsters. But when It comes to the quest keeper caged within the dungeon, "no quest list". So what gives with this thing, how does one get to Yaltepeti? I can't find it on the portal map. CragD.

I have to admit the communication and directions Re: this event is very confusing. What I have now realised is that the *Pre-Preparation* of 6 days.. was in fact.. *Special Sales*...plus the begining of farming for both the CA (corrupt andermagic) and Tf (tablet frags).
Now that the special 6 day sales is finished, we simplt keep farming for the frags until... what? ... August sometime...when the doors to Lor'Tac and chance to get those chest are finally open. Cheers George [/QUOTE]

 

Well this event is a previous for the next city, which comes with the next expansion, to answer your question let me quote what the event says:

NOTE: Do not forget to collect all tablet fragments you can! You will need to trade them for Toltac Treasure Chests in the city of Yaltepetl, as soon as you land in Lor’Tac!

From what i know and have been told here in the forum, we will be able to access only to the 4 ítems that the event shows when you click "E" and select the page of the Event; anyway also a lot of people believe that the drops inside the chest are random; so you will need to farm tons of tablets, i think someone else here posted how many you will need of those to increase your probability.

Has anyone else noticed that the amount of damage done to the monsters in the Lor'Tac event seems to be about 1/4 to a 1/3 of normal?

 

It is known that the resistances are insanely high... if you are playing a SW, you'll see a difference, DK/SM/RA will barely notice a thing as most of their attacks are physical damage.

 

Well, that would explain it! It is kinda sad to see my lightning bolt only do 300 damage though!
