I will change then 'unfair' to ' unfortunate' . I understand all of the PvP players but then again - what else can be done?

 

In the current system as we leveled up we had the option of picking one of two new talents. DSO now says it wants to give more options which sounded good on paper, yet with the new point system players won't be able to take advantage of this.

What's the point of giving us more options without giving us the ability to use them?

It has been said that there were some imbalances between classes. Why not add to the classes to bring them closer instead of taking away what we have?

For the life of me I don't understand the need to nerf the crit, so maybe someone could explain the reason why this was necessary.

It appears to a lot of players that we are losing more than we are gaining.

 

I'm going to predict what the CMs will say.

They have convinced themselves that they know better than the players who spend 4-10 hours a day playing this game. Despite an almost universal negative outcry with respect to the wisdom and PvP skills, they are still convinced that they know best. They are right about one thing... People will keep playing, myself included, simply because we are addicted. We have seen things like this in the past. They had some sort if big nerf, they told us how important our feedback was, we whined and complained, and they did nothing and said "You'll get used to it." And we would. Another 6-8 months would pass and they would do it again... and again... and again; yet look at us, we are all still here. Not because we are happy with how they are continuously "fixing" something that isn't broken, but because we are addicts and they know they can get away with it.

To Greg and Haruki:
I know you will win in the long run because I both understand the game and the people who play it, but I have to tell you, it sucks what the producers/developers/designers are doing to us. The only reason this game will survive after this release is because players are either too new to know better, or too addicted to be able to quit. If you have any power to convey our opinions, then delay this release and listen to what we are saying... I would rather not see this release until OCT/NOV than see it released on time by the 26th but with everything that the players can't stand.

You have all the top posters from every language telling you that you are doing the wrong thing, but you are sticking your head in the sand and telling yourself that if you ride it out, everything will be OK. Pull your head out of the sand, clean out your digital ears, and listen!

People can pvp after they reach fame 40. Honor point can be used to buy items. When the new system comes out they will be at fame 40 and everone people will get back all of their honor points spent to obtain fame levels. So you can use them to purchase goods. Honestly I think people that aquire the most should purchase the mount. This makes it fair to all.

 

I agree that it is fair, otherwise the strong get stronger and those left behind have an even longer time to catch up. However, I can understand people's frustration.

I'll extend this olive branch though and see if it calms down the people a little. What if they let you spend the points you already have, but then also restricted match making to ±5 PvP level as opposed to making matches based on PvP title? That would be fair, right? Then a KotO with LVL 35 fame isn't fighting a Grand Marshal with LVL 50 fame... After all, we are talking about "Fair," aren't we? Oh wait, then there would be almost no one for guys like Daywalker2 to play against because they would be immediately out of 99% of people's PvP level range. Then he would be complaining about not being able to get matches. See, maybe BP is making sure that you still have people to PvP against, Daywalker.

Personally, I don't care. The changes to the PvP skills that removes their effectiveness in PvE removes any and all reason for me to PvP at all, but I see why BP is doing it this way.

 

I think most players expect BigPoint and DSO to screw up regularly, especially if it makes them more money. Usually we get the song and dance routine, "we are working on it. . . we have forwarded it to the developers. . . we heard what you have to say. . . etc." And the problem continues or gets worse, and new problems come along to cover up the old ones.
We did not expect DSO to change the rules on fame points already earned. That guide was set up some time ago. If the developers wanted to destroy any remaining trust in BigPoint and DSO, they certainly did a great job here. So, why would anyone buy Andermant, when the company can trash investments at any whim?

 

I just bought two new cars in the last three months. One is a Buick. If I got a letter in the mail saying they were swinging by every Buick Enclave owner to remove all the high end upgrades, what do you think it would do for their public image? Ya, they would buy a cheap Toyota in the future. DSO, if you nerf our stuff, you invalidate your value proposition entirely. Your going to play your usual poker hand and just ride out the threats and community rants. That is what you do. It is rather sad. So this post stays somewhat constructive, I'll give you some unsolicited advice. Brush up your resumes.

Ah, THAT one. I have my eyes on that one for quite a while. It's a browser mmo you say?

Same request to you, please 'hint' at a good mmorpg with low end spec requirements, i would like it if it was a browser like DSO.

 

3 really simple questions for Greg and Haruki. Do you notice, there is far greater amount of negative feedback compared to positive on every forum? Do you even care? Do you realize r155 will result in a lost of playerbase=lost of money?

Hello Haruki. 1 Why u give us different informations? You give us a video where we can see we need for stage 41-50 pvp 3,5million honar points and now Greg make a post in the Portuges forum and he say we need 9,6million points

and my 2 question is why u not let the player use their current honar points for 41-50. Its pretty unfair for aktiv pvp players that we cant use our current points for this stages.Its the same like we cant use our farmed glyhps of power for 50-55. in the German forum i made a post and many players agree with me that this is very unfair...we played years of pvp and can only use our points in the pvp store. We dont want that..Please think about this. And think about for the beginners is no excuse.. if you a player with full royal gems + all items 48-50 . A new player have no chance anyway. Dont give the aktiv old players a penalty let us use our current points for updating the tree.

What I see in the video is under 7 million honor for 41 to 50. 9.6 million might be a mistyped to 6.9 million that is my guess.

2nd question to be fair everyone will get back their honor points earned to purchase items. This in my eyes is the fairest way. Since we do not know what lies ahead maybe people will sky rocket to high and get 0 points in pvp because of a change that makes people only pvp each other that are 40 to 42 and 43 to 44 and so on. Then you would be upset-- no? Well no matter how much pvp I have done I do think it is only fair we get our honor back and can use it to purchase items... Let the legendaries begain.

In this Video u can see 3,5million each stage 350k x10. Anyway i have 2questions i and most of the other players want to use our current points for update the pvp tree from 41-50. If we must farm them new its pretty unfair . I explained it many times its the same like u would say your glfs cant be used from 50-55. I hope haruki answer tommorow on my 2questions. Haruki pls answer my 2Questions from Post 258.And see the link from the german forum where u can see since page 8-17 much agree with me..

 

The video answers the question. It say EVERYONE at level 40 will have to start on an even playing field. To copensate veteran players you will get back all of you honor point for witch you can use for items.
