I nominate defending in 6v6 for the worst game mode in any online game

Whenever I see I am on the defending team in 6v6, I just take a 15 minute break half the time. These are the problems I have with it:

    1) Your chance to win is significantly worse. Test it yourselves if you don't believe me. The defenders are paradoxically at a major disadvantage because the mines can't hurt the attackers, the spawns can't be retaken or destroyed, and towers can be destroyed from safety because summoned units can tank them. Any damage towers take is permanent, and the mines inevitably tie up one person, leaving the defending team short-handed.

    2) Losing feels terrible, for the wrong reason. When you are losing, it is normally obvious in the first minute or so, but you still have 10 minutes of game time left. You have two choices: either you play knowing you are slowly losing, which is just about the worst feeling in any game; or you take the afk penalty which stops you from fulfilling quest requirements.

    3) Winning feels almost as bad as losing. No matter your killing sprees, the attackers actually get some chances to come back so you can never let your guard down, and if they bring down the drawbridge late, with seconds on the clock, the win is still far from secure and the game basically restarts. I'd rather win than lose, but in this mode it is a close call, and I groan whenever the second phase starts.

The easiest solution for this is implementing a forfeit feature. It would make this mode infinitely more tolerable.

The imbalance of 6v6 has been discussed for ages. Only minor changes have actually resulted. Most players realize that the Red Team has build in advantages to start, but that Blue Team could win with near flawless play.
Release 155 trashed 6v6, by crippling all the players simultaneously. It is now nearly impossible to find 12 players willing to beat themselves up by waiting for a match, and slugging it out.
It was bad enough to have some bozo goof off, do nothing, and trash the team's game. Why would anyone play, when 1 person could forfeit the game for the other 5? Some EDIT would forfeit, maybe for a buddy, or just because they could.

I've posted this before, but a lot of these 6v6 issues could be resolved by (1) shortening the match time for a round, and (2) making it a 2 round match where in round 1 one is on the red team and round 2 one is on the blue team (and vice versa). "Winner" is whichever team does it fastest.

I guess I am the only one that has successfully defended the base multiple times. I think I make a few people rather upset. Defenders use hp pots ;)

I'd say I have seen a successful defense 3 times in about 60-70 matches. I would be much more impressed if it were a 30%-60% chance that the defenders could pull it off as opposed to a 5% chance.

There are several others that can pull it off. DSO's method of team selection can make it really tough to compensate for the many biases against blue. Our guild has several stars that can use the 1 strategy we have found, that gives blue team a chance. That 1 strategy, we don't talk about it much to others. LOL
Before 155, I was averaging 1/6 wins on blue. After 155, there are so few matches, it's almost a dead issue.
