what in the gift box?.....black bear?..life time premium?..1 million anderman? even if u (DSO) confirm this gifts it dont worth to waste a month of hard work farming of 30 million glyphs for this generous gift DSO style..unless its intended to waste our farming for maybe we can find rare gem or a pice of EDIT in this gift box...my advice to all players .DONT WASTE YOUR GLYPHS and ignore that generous gift box...marry xmas to all and happy new year

 

Do you read or just rage? Only a fool would try to farm the gift box with the 100/60/30 quest. This is how the smart people will do it:

More likely, because of the number of times it will take to finish the first two challenges, you will only have to do #3 ~100 times. I haven't done the math, but I won't worry because the most efficient way to farm is in #3... whatever I have leading upto that point is what I have.

 

This is the reason why i follow Baragain and Trikilaki.. they are the best in this field . always gives eye opener. i like u guys.

Santa hats off to the troll that designed the Never Ending Turrets. What incredible foresight and cunning, to create a gauntlet of auto fire at varying speeds and directions, in a game riddled with varying degrees of lag and rubber banding. With stuns, no less. Exceptional.
Krampus has you on the naughty list.

 

If done even half way smart (i.e. not trying to finish more than half by the end of mini event #2), no more than 150 times... If done full smart, likely much less.

I'm sure you also follow us for the entertainment value too... we are both very sarcastic/witty and very good at it.

 

The shooting heads in the mini event seem to be much weaker. This is what I do: I use 2 sets of items on me.
One for full tank mode: 12k hp, 5500 armor, 3500 resistance, 80% block, 66% block reduction and I put 25 points in hp and the rest in runspeed and I also use runspeed boots. And when I need dmg I also have my dmg items in my inventory. This way you can't die from the towers and you don't need big dmg because the mobs have very low hp.

Of course it's annoying because you have to change items everytime and also knowledge points. But it's doable.

 

i have been trying to reach map for the challenge 1/3 for the last 3-4 hours and i died around 50-60 times. i am on level 49 ranger with 7000 HP and 3000 armor value.
i simply cannot get past collar 2 and 3 on high difficulty summit map as they are just too close to one another.
if i try to stand between them - boom 1 shot kill, 7000 HP down and i am dead.
running for it just spawns monsters in front of me and i can just sit there and die.
nothing new for me... guess i wont be finishing this event too... well that will extend the streak of unfinished major events to around 20.
i dont understand what im supposed to do to complete a single event in this video game?

 

Your hp, and armor are too low. At level 50, my 1h dwarf and 2h dk are going with over 10k hp and 4k armor (the dk is my main). I probably will switch to shield on the dk andchange talents for more hp, armor and block when running the mini - probably 13,250 hp, 4600 armor, 80% block rate, 60% reduce and 40 to 45% resists.

Also, what are your block rate and strength numbers? If you're trying to run with a crit offhand, you need to switch to a blocking offhand.

The first mini event has 2000 progress in order to be completed. You get 48 per run. And to get to the mini event map you have to run through the first map and avoid all those hundreds of mobs who are blocking the way XD

The last mini event will probably be twice as longer.
The only reason I'm spending so much energy and time to complete this is because the rewards from the 3 challenges when combined, result in a very good gem (at least for me). So yeah, it's boring as hell! ... but I want that gem

Hi, Sandro. Your hp is fine, I run with about the same hp when I'm too lazy to change my knowledge points into hp.
So your hp is fine, as long as your armor and resistance and block are good.
But 7k hp with only 3k armor is a problem. And I'm guessing your resistance is under 1k (I think those towers hit with ice dmg or something like that).

The most important thing, when you are traversing the bridges is to use blade dance to go through the mobs without wasting time to kill them because you'll get hit by the towers. Just use some speed boots if you have good ones and run. I also keep my inventory open, in case I get hit and need a fast pot. Use all your best armor and hp and put 25 points in hp, 10 points in block (if you have a weak shield and can't reach 80%) and the rest in runspeed. Don't forget to skill blade dance so you use less concentration and also use dragan set for more concentration and more blades.

 

Not to hate on anybody but the turrets are incredibly easy. They are timed to fire, even the higher speed ones, so that a person with 15% runspeed can walk through them nonstop, start to finish, all three chains with out stopping. Soooo, be the first one to go through and you have no issues at all. If you are not first, get close to where the missile is firing, when it passes start moving and walk straight through. Skip the nondroppin wolf in the middle of the third set. No damage no deaths. People die when they do the squirrel in the road thing, pause between every dam turret, or tryi to get through on their mount. Just set speed correctly and run.

I was under the impression English was simply not traki's native language ... I will now do a thorough analysis of both your posts to reach a deeper enlightenment ... (ellipses are a favorite of traki's I've noticed)

I was horrified at first by the sheer number of turrets too. What I can tell you is: GO SOLO. I don't know why, maybe it's because there's less mayhem and you can actually see what's going on, but since I started soloing I've only died a couple times here and there.

Also, I'm an average DK, who can only hit 8k hp with equip on full tank setup, 10k with wisdom, and 50% damage reduction. I have very little trouble running through the minimap, as long as I carefully manage my skills' CD and rage (for healing with MWS and Battle Frenzy).

To kill Kranparus himself I just change a couple skills around, mainly opting for the speed and damage on Banner of War, and about 200 orange ess, which is nothing considering I have about a whole stack saved up from and for events. I kite around the edge of the arena while banner is on CD, occasionally jumping in for a quick mighty swing.

Whole run about 10 minutes, 15 tops.

(Only thing I hate are the fiends who suck your resources when you really need them for a heal or getaway XD)

Even so, I doubt I'll have the time to grind challenge #3 for coins, as my finals are starting soon

Oh and finally here's the updated snowmen map. Turns out I missed a lot of 'em, as there are supposed to be 8 per map. (except Swerfield Pastures).



I also can't find the 8th in Twilight Downs, and I swear I've looked in every nook and cranny. Can anyone confirm this?

Hi Sandro, i think you are doing in the wrong way cause ur stats doesnt look that bad. I carry less armor and hp than you and ive finished all events this whole year. Groups of 2/3 are a big help and as it was said above , have a health pot handy on turrets , they are really bad. Btw no matter ur armor value if u dont carry blocks , so a shield with blocks is a + on turrets. I switch every time lol

 

Guys you now if is there a chance to drop an soltice star in the current event ? a friend of mine droped one from a greem box in last year event.

 

You don't need travel speed at all ... just make good timing when start running.
You can stop between the shooting heads and they won't hit you.

Many are trying hard at painful map for this costume though they aren't strong enough for it.
Here's proof that he can drop when he's not so painful as well
