In the last week of December a "merchant competition" was announced via emails to players.[/URL][/IMG]

In my hopes to win this competition I gave it a very good shot (don't want to mention the amounts of my contribution)
It is now almost mid January and not a word from Bigpoint, but in your last twitch it has been stated that the jesters gems will no longer be available for purchasing for clovers at Zumpe's shop with the release 160. I participated in this completion specifically to get the bonus clovers which I would use for buying Zumpe's gems.

It feels very unfair and I don't want to use strong words on exactly how it feels, but can you please announce the winners and distribute those prizes before the 160

 

What about the people who have been getting clovers from events? If my calculations are correct, the people who have played all the events where clovers were given as rewards, should have 9 clovers total (or did I miss something?), at least that's how much I had.
I was bored enough to try my luck at the jesters the other day and stupidly landed a clover after only 12 hands (60 gold). That gave me 10 clovers total and I could get my second armor gem.

But I have friends who are stuck with 9 clovers because they are unlucky and can't get any clovers at the jesters and it seems that soon their clovers will be useful only to buy some useless costumes (or will you bring something else that is useful to Zumpe?).

Also, regarding what Skygazer said... I remember that contest. The people playing it (and the one who will win it) will end up with tons of clovers that they would have been eager to use to buy the special gems. Now what will they buy? A useless goat? This is total disrespect to your customers and a very good way to lose your best supporters. Find a way for people to use their hard earned clovers, don't make them useless.

I guess I got lucky - I had exactly 10 clovers on my DK after opening the big present in the winter event, and used them to get a second torso armor percent gem. I'll hold off on gambling until R160 comes.

I do have 3 clovers on my dwarf, though. Eh.

 

Supposedly they are raising the probability of getting the gems at the jesters by 150% (witch is only 1.5x more likely), but 150% of a really small number is still a really small number. I've bet plenty of gold and plenty of andermant and have never gotten even one (but I have gotten 1k gold once, the coin flip emote, and 5 clovers).

To the CMs...
All this is doing is making it harder for F2Ps to get those special gems and I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that it is not appreciated in the slightest. In fact, it is downright rude, inconsiderate, and insulting. While hunting down the troll who thought that it would be a good idea to give us Phestos Coins on the last day of the event, add this person to the list of people who deserve a poke in the eye.

It is stupid administrative decisions like this that piss players off more than anything. It is once again obvious that the entire DSO staff is out of touch with the player's desires. I have an idea that would be absolutely hilarious... every time your bosses come up with one of their "good ideas," and start having the developers start coding it, post a poll about it. Describe the feature in depth (have the developer write it since they are the one doing the coding and they know what they are planning to do) and watch player's reactions both in the form of feedback and the poll numbers themselves. I bet that more than half the major ideas that the higher ups think are good ideas would score 10% or less of player approval and little things like this probably 25% of the ideas would score poorly.

 

All class get the same stats and yes it's 4000 draken per set part.
As is now, all players that buyed the old set are at loss compared to the new set.

 

Not true, the parts are almost identical to the existing items for non DKs. The DKs however pick up some nice armor and hp. The Tearholder is actually identical for both DKs and everyone else. Also, the old items work with the new item's set bonuses (which is now scaling) meaning that you can replace one piece at a time without breaking your full set (just like Keen's/Roshan's/Spark's/Yachach's).

tbh id prefer it to stay hard because for people who have bet sh** load already like me for example and others it would be unfair for us. but the cr** part is they ruined the speed gems and made it useless now

Or you wait for a global fix... there are tons of achievements that are bugged.

Probably true, just another stupid decision by some bumbling bureaucrat, or some well-meaning flunkie. Carelessness, bozo, or group think in action, Murphy's Law demonstrated over and over.

It could be more sinister though.
They could be finely tuned to player's desires, but do what they want or need to do instead. Dependable, like a quota.
Some people set up battles for others, then watch the fire works for entertainment.
Some get purpose or job security by creating disasters, then playing HERO.
It could be planned manipulation. Some car batteries are guaranteed for 5 years, but will only last 4 years. The customer comes back to get the warantee, and buys a new battery. Guaranteed repeat sales; accounting makes the money work in advance.

There are several other, more improbable scenarios. My favorite is that BigPoint is a dupe of terrorists, set to harass American gamers with nefarious plots. It could be a great comedy routine: Achmed the Dead Terrorist, and DSO.
There is some entertainment value in watching for the next screw-up. It works for sports teams, too.

Well I was told it's the same for all class.

 

They are not removing clovers, but the opportunity to buy jesters' gems with clovers. You would still be able to buy ridiculously overpriced garbage. Not long ago I gambled 240k of anders just to get ..... 4 clovers.. So, do the maths my fellow players to calculate the price of that goat LOL

And again, I specifically largely increased my spending in the last week of December in order to have a good shot at winning the "merchants contest" in order to buy jesters' gems, specific gems that I need.... so, I feel I have been officially lied to, just to encourage to pay Bigpoint for..... a myth .... even if I eventually "win" that contest, there will be no use for those clovers.... Embarrassing decision my dear Bigpoint management...

 

Yeah, release would surely suck on clovers. Those gems are super rare. 150% will not make them medium rare. If not fo clovers, I wouldn't have 90% of those special gems. Guess it's over now, I don't need another way to get a crap legendary items with junk stats like those we get once in while from cube or golden chest.

 

Not the defensive but he offensive ... yes I have them. It is a test server you can easily get them because you can "test" things that you are not allowed to on live servers.

Exceptional mage? I don't think so ... that SW is under-powered compared to many SWs on live servers.
I understand you are trying to "cool down" all the OP talking when it comes to SWs ... but it won't happen XD

As for the testing ...
testing is one thing the reality is another. You can't just test with apps and math ... when you don't have all to variables and parameters. Consider this as a F1 race ... all the tams are testing with their simulators ... but there are things you can't always test and you can't foresee the outcome of the next race.
One thing you should understand ... SW is the easiest class for playing and the ranger is the most difficult one. SWs are always having edge over the other classes ... and I am not talking about the stats (math) ... i am talking about the physics and the behavior/execution of the skills.
I was thinking of making similar web tool using C# and Razor ... but I am not interested anymore because I don't give a flying F* about this game anymore. In fact I am on a verge of quitting all my activities with this game ... including Wiki. I left alone organizing the Wiki ... and for whom? For people that always want to only take and never give anything. S**w You peeps ... you are not watching that movie anymore. You want info about anything with this game??? That's no fer anyway, why less for other classes? DK get so much more in terms of stats on items then other classed, that's really not fer.
