How old are the players?

The ages of gamers may surprise you!
BigPoint must keep demographics on the players, but maybe they don't pay much attention.
Answers by age group, may be misleading if a group is under-represented on your account, but this may show a general trend for the forum readership.

 

I'm always intrigued by the demographics of games. I'm constantly surprised at how wide the gap is.

 

You let me select more than one so I put in the real age bracket and "Born yesterday." I mean what other explanation is there for the fact that I'm still playing. If I'm believing the BS that BP feeds us every time they open their mouths, I had to have been born yesterday.

 

So no one over 40 but under 50 is allowed? Hummmmm, I guess that means I have to vote for being born yesterday.

Since i like play and i'm addicted to PC gaming since i was a little child, i replied "too old to care".
Actually i'm 40+, option not included in your survey (i guess you missed it, 50+ instead of 40+).

But i would like to point out that you are not asking for whole game population age: you will retrieve only a partial distribution for gamers currently reading the ENG Forum and writing here.
This curve is veteran-shifted ... but you can find many younger yuppies only on FaceBook

 

I love when I went to the doctor for my 40 year old check up.

Took it up and the lady gave it back and said reread the question please and fix your answers.

Luckily I don't fall exactly on a cutoff, but erm... if you were 20, 30, 40, or 50, you'd end up in 2 categories. ._.

 

There are many teens out there. The problem is that they really don't like to follow fora.

 

When I go to doctor ... they are usually asking me of the symptoms.

I once played with an 8 year old. He did pretty good, although he kept racing up to the monsters to shoot them with his bow.

For a checkup. Wow never been asked that for a checkup.

Maybe just an American thing.

 

No it's ane age thing at certain periods during your life you should have the doc. check out certain things like your prostate if male ect.

 

One of the problems in the game, idk the esrb rating... im 16 and i dont like to lie to people.. iam playing for 5 years.. and when i asked to joined a guild, they ask me age.. when i say the truth.. they say u r a kid.. and a we dont add players below 18. but above 18 players does n't mean they will behave good.

For some, I think I understand and maybe can explain a bit for you why guilds make that sort of choice.
Behavior is not one, cause you find immaturity at all levels of ages period.
But with that said, I would hate to see anyone "underage" getting bashed(told off) by an adult. Especially if it ain't your parent! That can become a huge issue!
Yes, also the "adult content" is also an issue whether you think it's funny or not. As an adult, I wouldn't want my kids in any adult guild. I probly kick their arse lol!
Don't feel unwanted because most adult guilds don't want kids in their group. You'll find something. Keep looking.
