Heredur's shield?

So I must have killed Heredur 55-65 times since the last couple of updates without him dropping his unique. Therefore, either the drop has been removed from the game, the odds have been disproportionately reduced, it's a bug OR I'm the unluckiest gamer in Dracania!!...

*(EDIT: I'm talking about the weak lv17 Heredur here!)

 

55-65 times? I have killed him 1000+ without dropping it.

 

I have 200 or so, but no unique, same with other bosses of the paralel world. I play on fatal diff.

 

I'm not sure why this surprises you. The drop rate of boss uniques has always been terrible. I've also done 200 or so runs and have gotten 1 ring drop so far.

 

If you are saying this because you have had uniques dropping with that many runs at other bosses then consider yourself one of the luckiest player.
There is no bug with unique drops at any parallel world boss, I have seen players with all sort of uniques and I myself have the Heredur shield( luckily got it quick).
The drop rates at bosses is something that's been debated often and DSO seems to not have any update or improvement in this regard yet.

 

Few om my friend get unique from PW boss. One this shield and one Barach bow.... so its posible but with Bugpoint "lottery" you can get it tomorrow or in next life

 

And? Come back when you hit 200-300+. I had over 150 times before R160 and I've done over 75 since R160 using the portals and some normal methods.

It mostly depends on luck! Some people get it within 10 fatal kills , more than 100 fatal kills and some people don't even drop it!
so try to farm and farm and farm , keeping on hoping to drop it!

 

There is no such thing as luck in this game.

 

maybe he means normal heredur....

 

If he does mean normal, I've heard that it's bugged... But who in their right mind farms for that piece of crap? It is a piece of crap that is out of date almost as soon as you pick it up. The only other people who farm that one are Twinks looking for easy glyphs when they can't get an XP blocker to help them cheat.

 

OK all I think I should have clarified. I mean the weak lv17 Heredur (yes yes, noob I know). His drop rate used to be about a 1 in 7, so I think something is wrong?

We're clearly talking about a different boss here. I'm a low lvl who's picked up well over 200 Heredur Shield's (lv17) in my time, he used to drop it about 1 in 6 / 1 in 7, now I've killed him 75-85 times without joy.

Tha 'piece of crap' has allowed me to be one of the most powerful characters for my level. I'm sorry you think it's 'cheating', what absurd logic. It sounds to me like sour grapes for not thinking of it yourself. Anyway, if he's stopped dropping it now, I've more than had my benefits from it!

 

You can not be the most powerful character at low levels for the level themselves aren't the most powerful ones.

You hid behind Heredur all the while and showed no guts to go fight further and call yourself one of the most powerful character?
And what use of your most powerful character? beating up new players who try pvp with the decent gears that they find. BRAVO!!!
You twinks abusing low level pvp stand in second to Stupid DSO devs in making players quit this wonderful game.

A low level twink is never worthy of being called POWERFUL,
No matter how strong your character is, that character has no idea about what lies ahead.
That character is nothing without a higher level character along.
The very day that character tries to face the challenges ahead, all this puny power you gathered so far is gonna shatter before you know it and you will have to start your journey as a newbie again.
And finally when that character reaches the end, he will need years of hunting again to even stand a chance against the ACTUAL POWERFUL ones.

I made the screen bigger so you can see it is not an old twink and you can see the game version.

Now ... because of twinks BP reduced the drops of this and the Arachna's weapon ... so they can't farm them 24/7.

Thanks by the way to the more sane folk commenting on here, it seems clear that BP has removed the unique drops from Heredur for now, personally I think they should have just dramatically reduced the drop rate rather than make it extinct entirely! But we'll see what happens in future patches.

You misunderstand me. I don't think that you are a cancer in this game because you farmed the shield. I just have no respect for a twink with real life issues that compensates through use of a digital medium to beat up on people who are just trying to enjoy themselves. I feel that twinking in general is a disgusting practice that scares away many good players who are playing the game properly because they have a run in with one of the low level gods with more HP, armor, damage, crit, etc than some new LVL 50s.

And ditto what MANOJ said about "Powerful." Don't make me laugh!

Sorry to break your bubble, but your power is just an illusion, and there are loads of us who would like to show you about that when you hit level 50, I already put some of those old "twinks" who bullied me as a newcomer in place when they reached the level cap
