How to get the red feather for the quest "A Mothers Worry" from Fjalnir's Cradle of Frost.

It states you need to kill Toltac shamans in Twilight Downs but after 100+ kills i still dont get any.

Is it just me or do i do something wrong.

You need to be at the right place at the right time.
Try changing your pattern to fit their Shamans' spawn cycle. Mobs spawn at different rates than drops, goodies may be twice as slow, imho. You are more likely to get lucky when close to the center of the map, where the minions are thickest. Guildies report slightly north-west or south-east best.
No competition helps; own the map if you can.

Others are right: patience and persistence will deliver the goods. Trouble is, it's hard to be patient, when instant gratification is too slow.

I have collected a red feather, wrappings and collected the vine, but don't have a 4th item in the quest to craft a feather cape at the workbench. What is the 4th item and where can I get it?

It should be listed in the description. Unfortunately, I don't remember what it was.

Yeah, I don't remember the quest so accurately either, but I think the 4th item is already given to you upon accepting the mission. Check the description, as Dragonnns said, and look in your inventory.

Hi, I have a question about this quest, I have killed maybe 200 mummies in Oceanus's opal shrine, but still no wrappings. Is this item really so rare to drop, or am I hunting wrong mummies ?

As I said above, I don't quite remember this particular quest 100% and it has no page on the DSO Wiki. But I can say this: if the quest requirement says the item drops in a certain place, that's where you'll find it. As you most possibly know, some take longer... think this one is one of them (though most people have a hard time with the feather part, not the wrappings).

Yeah, I know, that some items drop less than others ... feather was really easy for me, maybe 7-8 shamans only ... but the wrappings ... ok, I will try again and again ... thanks for answer.

No problem. I'm sure you'll get it soon enough! You got lucky where most people don't, and unlucky where others do. It's just chance. Good luck!

Most time I am unlucky everywhere :D ... collect all materials (or better said 30 items from time traveling shamans) for Cloak of power quest took me about 67 full runs (no monster left alive) in Atlantis above water map.

Just thought I'd chime in here with my bad luck: I got 1 item (forget what it is) from the Atlantis Above Water shamans every 3 to 5th run. I didn't count them exactly, but something like 100 runs in total. You never know which tasks are going to be a dispiriting slog-fest (well, most of them lately).

Be thankful you didn't have to do that cloak in the old PWs... dear God, it would've taken a few MONTHS. And anyway, 67-100 runs is pretty decent, actually.

Try turning on Quest Guidance. It will let you know if you are in the right area for the mummy wrappings.

I play exclusively F2P solo PVE ... was way too weak to survive PW until a couple months before the change when I got the Tayaz set (yes, that equipment which end-gamers laugh at has been a god-send for my character) ... so I had some experience struggling with the CoP quest in the old PW. The problem for me with the new version of CoP, it was a complete grind with zero rewards ... I'm a weak Lvl50 Ranger, would rather spend my time attempting Grimmag than Atlantis Above Water where the best I could hope for was maybe 5 ander and a couple hundred glyphs, a couple hundred silver. In the 100 or so Watery Grave runs I did, I found some semi-useful equipment and opened up several backpack and locker rows, and increased both offensive and defensive stones value. AAW was a complete waste of time. Sorry, rant over (I think it's about time I quit the game again).

In the most of quests I use this, but happend to me, that quest description said : Go to XX and when I arrived there, quest guidance began behave strange : it pointed me to the door out of zone.

And wrappings finally dropped for me. But I had to kill maybe 300-350 mummies :).

I'd rather say it's time you upgraded your patience and lowered you expectations xD. Good luck!
    Finally! Congratulations =).

search linked me on this post and seems here is the right place :)

I have a question about cloak of power quest, does lvl difference has influence to quest item drops from shamans?
When i was 40-41lvl i was getting like 1 item in 3-5runs, now at 42lvl i did 20 runs and didn't get any.
So do I have to finish the quest as soon as possible and not lvlup more or its no matter which lvl you are for quest item drops?

It doesn't matter what level you are. If you are having a run of lousy luck, skip it for a few hours and come back to it.
