Some said to get the New Moon set. And I guess the only thing from Full moon is the shield(s), right?

I think I saw something like this, but I can't seem to find any of these gem packages for ander, maybe they're for real money, huh?

 

Well you don't have realm fragments ... you will need less fragments for Full Moon .

Have you tried hit and run tactics on the end boss and maxing your reheal skills on the minibosses?

Both shields are incredibly useful for a DK or Steam Mech. The easy shield (Vargulf shield or Absorber) can be useful for a beginner, and the hard shield (Wolf Slayer) combines very well with the Black Warlord set.

Will try hit-and-run this time. But I don't get the "maxing your reheal skills" part. How do yo do that?

Edit: Managed to kill Grimmag yesterday, alone, with red ess.
Hit-and-run tactic. Ground Breaker, run around, Rage Jump then Furry of the Dragon, run around, Furious Battle Cry then Furry of the Dragon, run around, Rage Jump then Banner of War-Dragon Hide and Smash. Repeated this till he died.
He did get me once with Destruction... Why the heck his Destruction doesn't make the sound that it makes when SWs use it?

 

You have inspired me... I think that it is time for me to make a basic video guide to the Tier 1 PW bosses for DKs... Along with my other various projects. Grimmag is rather easy once you realize how large his hit box is. The closer you are to him, the harder his fireballs are to doge and the fewer consecutive hits you can achieve. Up close, you can only get one hit, maybe two if you are fast, before you have to get out of the way of the fireball. But, if you get further away, you can easily get 2-3 consecutive shots in on him before you have to doge.

 

So... I've completed the Full Moon event for the first time (no shield yet... got the helmet), but they say that they've changed it.
And I wanted to test my recent build against those abnormal mini-bosses.

 

I'm glad that it was fixed... I was able to finish the event for only about 5k ess, and that was while carrying a LVL 50 friend who ran out early on.

 

I have got this nice shield with my noob DK

 

And here is the one I don't use... most useless shield ever.

If anyone cares... Here's an update:

EDIT: Forgot... I'm currently at the Q4 quest, so... Did Grimmag only once with a group, the rest was solo. Did Grimmag with lots of deaths, Arachna with 0 deaths and Heredur with just a death per run... I want some travel speed!!! (currently at the default one since my boots are some pure armor boots.)

 

try to farm in team. just farm and you'll get there.

Do the 3 boss run in Q3 to build up gops and before you know it, you won't be fresh meat anymore.

With 15%-20% speed boots can hit & run heredur without getting a hit. Make gap by running, he will chase, about 1,5x-2x attack range do Ragefull Swing & run again, by the time u start to run again he will come to close and get hit

Yesterday after I got sick of doing the Q4 quest, I went to Q3 and since I managed to reach Heredur, I gave it a try again and managed to kill him with blue ess and without dying.
I've used blue because I'm almost out of purple and red.

So... I am planning on getting the 10% armor turtle pet, but I wanna see first what would the result be, but I can't figure out how to do that... or what to use...
I already have a 10% on the shoulders...
A little help would be appreciated.

Nothing is wrong ... except you don't need it.

 

Agreed. You already have more armor than my build and another 501 armor from the pet will only improve your physical damage reduction by 2.05%.
