    I find it 100% ugly when i see someone dessed as a Santa, a Bunny, a Barbie or whatever killing Demons/Dragons etc or even PVP in a fantasy world. I mean where are the limits? isnt the appearance of the classes also part of what makes every game what it is? For example, its like adding Barbie's houses in pink into the game as PVE areas just to fullfil the wish of some kids. So i ask again, where are the limits? Shouldnt a game has its own principles? a world where what you see and what u do make sense according the world you are in?
    I think this whole cosmetic thing just degrades games and i honestly dont think that it offers anything.

    So i have this suggestion.
    Make it so that those cosmetics are only usable in safe areas (towns etc) and when in PVP/PVE areas then everybody will have the look of their normal gear.

    Completely disagree. My ranger wears a bear head and I find that repulsive. I'd much rather be dressed as a rabbit or a Santa. I am the one that has to stare at my toon when playing. Why would I want to look at something ugly?

    I disagree too. Even before reaching end game level, sometime you are stuck with the same gear for months and looking at your toon dressed always in the same clothes become boring.
    Moreover, there is no option to hide the helmet in game and many of them are simply...horrible. So I also prefer to wear a costume sometime

    Other ppl see how u dressed also, so when u die by a santa for example that feels kind of meh? Besides what i suggest is for PVP/PVE areas only, not safe zones. Btw bear head is pretty badass and it actually fits a Ranger class.
    Anyway, i dont think i have anything else to add, i basically share my point of view with this post.

    OK i have another suggestion.
    Add the option for players to see other ppl in their normal gear and cosmetics. Like :Enable/Disable Cosmetic.
    This way if someone doesnt like seeing Santas and RAbbits he will disable this option.

    I have highlighted the operative word from the original post :D This is the wrong game for those seeking any specific genre of fantasy. Here we have everything from Arthurian legend to steampunk and all points in between. The cat is way out of the bag so to speak :rolleyes:

    What about my second thought ? (sounds better to me). Add option to disable/enable cosmetic looks. So for example, if i dont want to view other players as Santas, Rubbits etc i simply /Disable Cosmetic and i view all players on their normal gear. On the other hand if you want to see other players on their cosmetics you have /Enable Cosmetics.

    Objection. I live in my white rabbit costume since it matches my character name, Snowbunnie. Also, warlord helmet is ugly. xD

    I can see some people, particularly who PvP, who would not want their opponents to know what armor they are wearing. Still no in my book.

    @Dragonnns
    Since when seeing the normal pvp/pve gear of players has become a negative thing in games??o_O Maybe we should also change our names during pvp so that we dont know who we are pvping against.......:cool:
    I find this to be a rather poor excuse and i think some ppl denie new ideas just for the sake of denying.

    I am all for good ideas. I've seen quite a few but I don't feel this is one of them.

    Adding the new potion slot was a great idea. The improvement to the use of spirit stones was a great idea. HUD locking is a great idea but not yet implemented. Improving the visibility of the cursor is a great idea, also not yet implemented. I have more use for those than hiding/not hiding costumes.

    :::: Just my $0.02 ::::
