Grimmag Server Issues

I have a problem two days! When I use teleportation write a "All Connection Attempts have failed". I play on server Grimmag, user name-unikatnasem. Please help. Ty

when we will be able to play on grimmag? last 2 days i have some connection failure i....i wanted to donate for golden wings and i missed that because i could not enter 2 days -_- now i cant buy it.... rly not fair ... and still even if i enter game that is 5 mins and again server crash ....will u fix this or we need to change server and start all over again?

 

Hello. This thread is posted with regards to the r166 connectivity issues currently taking place on the Grimmag server.

Whenever i'm zoning into an area that has people on it (arena, wilderness, instance maps with teammates) I would get about 50/50% chance of HUGE bandwidth spike. I cannot play, due to about 20-30 seconds delay.

My internet then spikes up the roof, DSO takes ALL my bandwidth, i cannot even use chrome because it says 'no internet connection'. I have to kill the process to get back onto the track.
The way i know this is that I look at the bandwidth graph info supplied with my router. It just starts going into its 5-6 mbit/s forever.

I have the game preloaded. I removed the ../temp/DSOClient/... data several times, completely new redownload. The issue still persists.

I once let it go for an hour. It used over 1 GB bandwidth when entering particular area, and it still goes on and on. Also, the /temp.DSOClient/.. is not getting any bigger than before, it does not add any more weight/files to the folder.

This looks to me like a (dangerous) case of while(!downloaded) download(); stuff, which ofc turns into an infinite loop. It feels this way.

This occurs on a Thin Client. P.S. I dont fully know where to post it so just move it where it belongs.

As stated in today's announcement , the hotfix implemented after release 166 has not fixed the connectivity issues with Grimmag completely.
Tech team is working on fixing and restoring the situation to normal.
We will keep updating you on as soon as we have more details to share.

How do I log into a different server. usually, I log in and get a choice of servers. Now I get no choice and just keep getting returned to the log in screen
