Unique Gear Thread for DK's.

Can't help but ask: why are you keeping 4 Predators and 4 Beasts? Gem holders? IIRC, those are not craftable.

 

I am playing 99.5% in a group without tank (not because we hate tanks but because that is our list of friends ... not much tanks in it ... and we are doing pretty much everything without tank except Mortis III) so I am using this setup in order to survive and fast kill



My resistance is bit lower than it should be ... but I haven't bought a single gem in one year. That means I have saved plenty of andermant ... and i will spend them at the right time and raise my resistance to at least 60%
Higher attack speed helps me kill the monsters faster and replenish my concentration and HP.
BTW I have 0 knowledge points spent on attack speed .

 

no matter what ranger do or mix gears to be powerful...he will be the weakest character in DSO and thanks to the developers who hate rangers

 

That is not completely true.
Rangers are only missing few minor things that were stolen from them in R155.
And none of those things is related to damage.

Well those items do have 4 gem slots, but thats not really the reason why i don't melt it. If i'm correct they said on the twitch that, they will add Gear Customization to the game.
However their ''comming soon'' updates can take about 2 years. Just look how long they needed to add the Steam Mechanicus into the game

 

Pure DPS build, with more glyphs I'll reach 80% crit rate eventually.

 

What for? There is almost no difference between 70% and 80%.

 

rangers are still the weakest character no matter what u said ......and dks need to be nerfd the insane hp regeneration in pvp i saw a dk has 600 hp/sec in pvp 1v1 ..how u explain its fair? nearly all dk skills has stunn and its insanly reseted so he can use it by a click of a button..developers need to look at this not fair matches rangers vs all chars..they nerf the explosion they nerf the bird critical chance(NOT same as character critical) they nerf deadly blow by the new stupid setup and everything about ranger is nerfd even the stat of the long bows is less then all characters WHY?..WHY?...WHY?

 

So I'll sleep better at night knowing each precious essence I spend is maximized.

 

That is not true ... you are comparing apples and grapes. longbows are same as shortbows they are not 2H.

As for the other things you said ... it is not the DK class OP. The new skill system is so broken since R155.

Not if the skill system is changed (fixed). Change/fix the system and everything is different.

 

I was wondering Trak.... What would you do to fix the system. If everything was up to you, what would you change to balance the game?

Replaced my Bearach belt with my old mediocre 4x crit belt. Took a decent hit to HP, but I mostly play with a Cazic so that's fine.

 

Sincerely, for only 2-3% more crit. I wouldn't give up the HP and Bearach set added effect. Still kick-arse, tho.
