for what it is worth, maybe the 15 minute match ban for leaving a match should apply to all characters on an account. it seems the number of people intentionally leaving a match has increased.

 

I have included this in previous Weekly Reports. An issue with either increasing the stand-down time, or making it a stand-down for all characters on an a/c, is that many premature match departures are due to a player DC'ing (either because of game/server issues or due to a dodgy internet connection) rather than any malintent. Blocking them from using any other characters on the a/c for PvP would then be a little harsh.

 

Are you planning to remove XP Block? I hope you wont... cause I like playing as small level and getting stronger and stronger... its the best way for me, cause I dont have much time to be level 50 with cool stuff... I prefer to be low with full legends or some sets and just play events with XP block.. its easier and for me funnier... thanks for info

 

I hope they do something. XP blocking and twinking might be good for you, but its bad for the game's longterm survival.

 

Most likely, those ones asking for other classes except RAs are actually RAs.

 

In R171 the game mechanics have been reverted.
From now on ... lower level players in the group are XP blockers not the higher level.
Now all the twinks can block XP only by adding -5 level player in their group ... meaning if you are level 20 you must add player level 14 or lower in order to block XP.
In same time higher level players are boosting your XP gain. I.e. if you add player +5 levels higher than your level your toon is getting more XP multiplied by the highest level player. Meaning ... the higher the player's level the more XP your twink gets.
So you will have to use only 5 or more levels lower toons to block XP.

 

Wait... no. I just tested it on test server. I am lvl 14 and I played with lvl 50 and I havent gained XP.. soo....

No I havent... i tried it. It blocks normally like usual, so... there is no reason to change it.. it works years like that.

 

Oh ... i forgot to mention the most important part ... those players should be at town not in the same map.

 

What? You are trying to troll me? I tried it as well. Level 50 stayed in town... and I level 14 were in catacombs.. and well I got XP cause he was in the city... When he came, he blocks XP as normally... sooooo

 

Wait ... in what city? Splintered City of Cardhun or Kingshill?

 

Doesnt matter, i tried both... Kingshil and Carhum too... so its blocking XP like usual.

 

It is working only in Kingshill ... you should place your higher level character next to the King.

 

I have no experience with macs or this suggestion, but what about some kind of linux + wine to run the thin client? Either in a dual boot or live cd or flash drive setup?

You can run Windows on Mac ... search the net

Dont know what are you talking about. XP block normally works whne LEVEL 50 and LEVEL 14 are in same map, so level 14 doesnt gain any XP from monsters as usual.
