R171 (new full moon event... and a buncha nothin')

Release 171 is on test server. With it comes the new full moon event


new inventory UI with the sorting button moved to the right (there's also an option to turn it off completely)


and a lot of useless detail thingies such as this horse on the login screen


and these kids playing tic-tac-toe in Kingshill


It really does seem like the art team has nothing better to do so they are just doing some small little details all around. This means they are probably not working on the next content expansion. And if I remember correctly they promised it to be released this year, along with the rogue class, alchemy system and guild wars. None of these things have been implemented yet. The alchemy system and guilds wars were supposed to come a year ago.

 

Any sign of the new PW uniques?

The previous unique set has been made in tiers ...
There is a new set ... also in tiers ... I find this new set lame.



The untouchables items can be bought in front of every dungeon ... also there are 2 different crafting stones now.




PS ... I was playing the event until now ... if anyone have questions I can answer(if I can).

 

That Huge BloodMoon Stone, how can we obtain it?

 

Ok here goes...
First off... I am 3/5 of the quest but I am not able to finish atm.

On the event it says something like "lay the curse of lycanthropy on the blood moon, unlock blood moon and use shining silver essences to defeat all the monsters within...

Huh? I am very confused about this part but my bet is that once I kill turn in my 3500 essences I will get a quest to kill Vargulf and that will unlock a blood moon map...

Which gives new set and Which leads to next question.

How do we get that stone... The "huge" implies tier 3, right? So there must be little ones... But I am not seeing it in the possible rewards for any event map.
Is it in the "blood moon map"?

How do we get the "shining silver essences"?

Can we get the old set? (I don't want it just curiosity... And 50 achievement points is sort of nice )


Off of event but what does the other crafting stone do? Untouchable set? PW sets? Tier 3 rings?

EDIT: Ok... I have figured some things out but I have more questions. So I have finished all the quest and killed Vargulf multiple times... But I still do not understand the blood moon map. It says to invoke the ritual... But how? And the nightshade/wolf claw/silver pebbles are supposed to be given to Jon Sunlair... But there is no Jon Sunlair. . My only guess is that I should craft them together but that is not working either.

I have seen some screenshots in FB ... where the players can buy all the unique items for materi fragments.
All PW sets for sale .
Unfortunately i can't get the same merchant window ... Why? I don't know . Maybe they removed them with the latest game version.
But I doubt ... since I did check them even when R171 first came to TS.

 

Sir, do you have any information about r171? what is the new unique from new full moon? all pw boss's set now sell in mf?

 

I have some info and working on it (ATM it has been put on hold until I get small rest) ... all unique items will be published in DSO Wiki ... I hope in the next few days.
As for the PW sets ... I found some screens at FB ... and it looks like they can be purchased with materi fragments ... BUT ... I can't see it in TS. I am getting completely different Shop Window.

 

Can you post a photo link for that PW set shop from the location you saw it?

That I know I already know how the pw sets work but I wonder why cant you find the trader the pictures were taken from.

 

I heard that after you kill a PW boss the merchant will spawn in the map where you can buy the PW items. However i dont have a decent TS char to test it out
