I'll give some of them the benefit of the doubt... maybe some of them are in favor of nothing less than a full ban. That is why I made my thread/poll. In that one, the cheaters need to self identify (or make a new account) since all votes are public.

Yes, there has to be an inventory file, but it would be monstrous. The point is, how often is it updated, when is it updated and how many generations are maintained? Is each record deleted after the next login? A rollback may be possible, but it just isn't feasable for Bigpoint. It all depends on how much money, time and effort Bigpoint want to throw at the problem.

No. I have no time for doing again things in game what I did so far.
Find cheaters and take back gems from them or give them bans or do nothing, but make a roll will be disservice for common and normal players with lives and little lucky for something good in this game. Abandon yours thirst for revenge.
You lost nothing, only BP lost hypothetical earnings but even this is not truth because those cheaters are two kind of players: who don't buy those gems at all or players who still be buy stuff in game in some way or another.

This is false. Fair players did lose something; they lost their hard earned competitive advantage to cheaters in PVP.

Please without real things and law comparing to this. Even terms of BP broke real consumer law. You all know nothing about this, still agree to be cheat by BP itself but sometimes make a storm in cup of water about thing that doesn't make harm in real way to you. Make a noise about TGC or changes in premium account if really care about law.

Well if the Bank did not report the crime and finds that nothing happened and will not pursue theft, according to law offense was not committed. True crime accountable and true case against it, is something other than public opinion, and even justice.
If the regulations of BP contains ordinances legally allowed in civil law the client most might not follow, because he was not breaking the law, the company breaks. It is a pity that no one in Germany is not interested in sued BP as a client. MMO is still considered a stupid game, and that the company can do anything to users.
Yes It was be fair to punish cheaters but roll is punish for all for nothing and biger evil than do not this. BP is not honest with changes in game to us and with bugs and drop rate. You know player's opinions about exploits, that they are not really only accidentally and are use for manipulate of us, give for friends or one nation etc. etc.
We have not information about hp mobs, % for drop etc. And with this I don't care about more or less punishment for some players. I play in my way and just don't need lost progress because in this one situation you want a lynching.

This bug and cheaters do nothing this game, yours pvp. They are just little %.

And it may have been a calculated loss, planned? Justify increasing the strength of monsters, future changes in the game, make mobs stronger, the prices increase? Forcing players to buy stuff, to catch up with "thousands of super strong cheaters after the bug"?

You have own opinion, I don't care about "saint no/yes balance of power" in DSO and can see that generally lost will be players who just play and don't live the game.
BP should turn off servers every time when is any exploit, bans players after every bug in game... Oh... when you all farmed bosses at relogs I don't remember poll like this about roll...
BP will be cheats players, players will be cheat BP when is occasion, and only bugs with free anders or changes in game's code will be punish. For rest of them they have no skills or needs.
Just live it or go to court with all wrong stuff which BP do to you in this game.
They need yours money not be in game everyday or a lot posts about your exits of play...

You twink anyway ... you didn't miss anything. Your time stops you are using blockers to stop the time ... so what possibly have you done in the past few days that is so important? You certainly did not level up
Maybe you have got 100-150 Zumpe's gems ... as a drop in the arena?

I do think that BP could figure out if you put out real money for something and reimburse or credit your account that amout if they do a rollback. Time lost? Everyone lost....except the cheaters. They are out nothing unless they get banned.

It does hurt the honest players. It doesn't hurt the cheaters as they are not out any resources. However... It returns the field to the level it was before. After this, if BP does nothing, the game, particularly for the PvP players, is toast.

I don't PvP (except for the daily participation quest) so, in some ways, for me it doesn't really matter. However, for those honest players who do PvP, they shouldn't be paired up with someone who exploited the bug to get uber gear.

 

I don't want to sound harsh, but maybe this is the real reason they are not going to take action. If most of the cheaters are also spenders, then they fear perma-ban or rollback will cut the income too much.

 

I have a conspiracy theory. The devs already identified every cheater and ran that list against andermant, premium, and special package purchases and realized that if they banned that list, their cash flow for DSO would drop unsatisfactorily.

I know that is probably not the case, but it makes me laugh when I think about the scenario.

If will be a Roll back all thing will go back? Forexample legendary and other thinks we dont get from Pinatas. I crafted 3 good thing in this some day. What will be with thats? Or if somebody won something from clowns or upload ander,or spent ander for boss farm... I think if BP know make Roll back for Clowns gems , and other gems, maybe draken. But I think who played in Zumpe get a really big advantage, so make Roll Back. The two big problem is gems and clown gems I think.
