I'm sure you will not be alone in that decision. Many players from my gild will come out of the game if the truly final answer from BP is "do nothing". Nobody wants to fight against "Pinata Marshal".

Most of them are not even playing this game ... they are here to make money!
They create and steal accounts with only one purpose ... to sell them later and grab the cash.
Now they have opportunity to make the biggest cash ... all granted by BP.

Account trading is yet another one of those things that are "supremely illegal" but happens under their noses, since I joined my guild, I've read them talk about at least 10 different players who have sold their accounts for real money, sometimes numerous owner changes have happened in the same account, and some of them discuss the matter in general chat, vaguely, but discuss it regardless, it's quite a spread issue in the LA Tegan community, but you're in the world of Dracania, where nothing happens and everything is fair and legal.

I wonder if the corruption in Dracania is indeed coming from Nefertari and Balor or from somewhere else?

Dear DSO team! I suggest you reconsider your decision about doing nothing with this situation.
I am not here to say ohh, it is SOOO unfair!
I will tell you why would i choose (if i were you) to set it to a previous state of the game(even if it is a 2 week or a month ago)

Right now ppl who cheated are happy with all the gems they could possibly buy from the gem vendor for millions of andermanth. The think they could get away with it, because you are not good enough to catch them, and not going to punish everyone with a reroll.

The ppl who are free players think-oh, not only payer gamers own us, (there is a pretty high gab between us), now cheaters too! It was my chance to have all the gems(which is a huge difference, think about the attack speed gems), but i choose to be fair. And what do i get-nothing, the dso team didn't even take away their gems! I don' care if i will lose even a month progress. It will mean for example in andermant: i will lose the 30000 or even 200000 andermant i collected, but hey- ppl wont go on a lot of millions of gem rampage, owning me, no matter what!

The ppl who are paying players think-oh, so i worked hard for this game, not only with my playing time, but at the company i work at, and i spare money for this game, than ppl can get pretty much the same for free. Did i work for nothing?

Yes, ppl will complain if you decide to do a reroll, saying it is unfair to fair players, but your current decision is way more unfair. Think about it like this for the non cheaters: you were improving 10 % this time, that's what you will lose with a reroll. Cheaters will lose their 400000%, because i think noone can have full best gems without paying money, not even in 5 years.
For example i have no motivation to play much, ppl are going to own me anyway, because they decided to cheat.

High number of relogs = high chance for that player to be a bug user and investigate his account.

 

It is now all about principles. I can't stand to be punished by rollback because it is better than to do nothing. I just want bug users to be punished, and I will definitely quit playing if I'm going to be victim of someones inability and ignorance. So, rollback is not option for me, just real penalty for real bug users.

You are wrong about hundreds. Here in US you will get 100k ander for 125 USD. That would even make it for the simplest gem. To get the top tier one its about thousands, not hundreds. And I guess this one isnt the biggest abuse.

Now, BP, please tell me you are not going to do anything about it. Also tell me the volume of abuse is marginal.

 

Maybe this will make them change their attitude a little bit?

 

Hey there everyone,

I hope you have read the last update we regarding the exploit situation. If not, click HERE and rejoice (or not). In any case, the investigation continues and we have not closed the door. I totally understand that the first announcement got a lot of players out of their nerves and the level of negative answer was conveyed with high-prio to the team this morning, which initiated a second round of investigations.

I'd also like to add that what may seem very obvious to some clairvoyants out there it may not be when coming to the actual data and how it is dealt with. The team is doing their best and working on it to find the fairest resolution possible. We will update the Official Announcement section as soon as we have something new to communicate.

Thanks a lot for your patience. Also, if you have a question for me that does not deal with this topic, shoot it again!

Maybe you could have your IT guys peruse some of the posts made by users here that seem to have a high degree of education regarding this issue. It could give your people some insight, in case they haven't tried everything.

Haruki, you are noob here in DSO community and in the game at all. There is always anger about TOC abuse when we speak about money. Even we don't speak about money - rage against bot users, bug and exploit users - too. There is no reason your dev team to tell that they can't resolve situation. Even "rollback" is an option. But as my experience with ACP - even support member with access to it can catch all of exploit users. There is not "we cant" there is just "we dont want to"... Did you understand my so bad english?
Or all of us who play honestly with our time and money have to pay for your dev team members errors??? How many times?
I'm sure all of us will forgive that if all of us receive a lots of special gems in top quality. And all other gems too in royal quality. For free.
