New Guy with Noob questions

Just starting out, through Kongregate on Tegan. Community seems bleak with most being non English speaking, hopefully that will change.

Where is a good place to farm exp and loot around lvls 20 / 30 ?
Should I just not bother upgrading gear till end game or ?
Should I melt all junk for glyphs, or meld for blues -purps- orange or just sell for gold ?
Is there a faster way to get gold ? I got a quest for some cloak but I need 1000 Gold to buy the item... this seems very excessive for a noob lol

The best place to farm is a boss you are able to beat max 3-4 levels under you. Above is fine aswell as long as it doesnt take to long
Take the items you get while progressing and don't bother crafting gear till end game. Of course you can upgrade gear with glyphs since you can get these back at the blacksmith.
You should smelt your junk for glyphs and upgrade your weapon. When i was around lvl 20-30 i didnt know you could upgrade weapons above your level.
Since your level 20-30 you are not at the cloack of power 5/5 quest. Read the quest again and look which contract you really have to buy.

 

First thing to do is start a direct account to DSO through browser or download the game and drop the 3rd party site to play the game. It has led to many frustrations for people using 3rd party game sites, especially when buying andermant and technical issues. Doesn't take long to build a lvl 20 toon, couple of hours or so.

I'd consider it a lesson learned and move on. Kongregate is slow and people report a slew of different problems with it. If you continue to invest in this character, when you finally leave Kongregate, you'll be even farther invested money and time-wise.

Ok so which is the best class to play... now that I have to start over lol and what server - looking for English Speaking Also advice on fast exp ? I saw some oen say they got to 30 in a day ?? I played for a few days now and Im 26... AND it was my 3rd character to 20+ so i remembered things that helped speed up the lvling process ...

 

Agathon or Heredur for English speaking people... Depending on if you are better with Español/Portugese or Deutsch. I would use mech for your new toon.

 

If they are from Americas ... Heredur is quite distant ... it may (and will) cause greater lag.
