I am getting HP only from gems and wisdom tree

 

Yeah, get your HP from the gems and the wisdom tree. I know traki isn't that much of a fan but there is also bloodtooth ring.

 

I thought do i need much hp if i farm in groups? Is 5k enough?

 

I found these PvE stats and I can confirm they are real... they're not mine... I wish, lol.



Precision shot with red on Heredur can go over 100k. Well I've never seen a better ranger for boss runs.

But that is also one of the flimsiest glass cannons I've ever seen. Almost anyone could one one shot him, especially a DK.

 

That's not a PvP build... not even close That build is purely focused on dealing dmg at bosses (where that player does not receive dmg himself)

 

5 Gilded Clovers in 10-11 days ? Also, that's a lotta Ander (in bank + inventory size + items + XP pet) xD. So you were lv26 back at the last New Moon? You must've power-leveled, then. That explains the bought uniques. Guess you're doing alright (though I don't like speed-leveling for the reason you're mostly left with cr*p gear, but you've got Ander to cover that up, as can be seen xD). Good luck further (also, pro-tip: start farming for up to lv50 and after, as it ain't worth it to waste so much cash) !

Im not a bigbspender i just took advantage of some ander offers and at some point i won a quite big ammount of ander from jester and bought a few lucky companion box and got that pet.
Onestly ive only bought 2 parts of the set from shop and the others from drop i wanted to have that 60% concentration that reqlly helped me in pve with the aoe skill.
Yes i did rushed the lvling part and i can blame the PW for that when i heard about it i was really excited ;p

Now we're getting somewhere. Still lots of room for improvement.

 

About 20.75k and counting. I'd hate to be hit by a crit from you. A 300% PS with max damage could hit for 52400. Even with 70% armor/70% resist, that would do 15.7k damage. My hat is off to you.

 

Good thing I only PvP for the scarce clovers then heh. I die way too fast in the arena anyway, unless it's 5v5. Working on crafting an all crit amulet and a better all crit belt to pair with a shield. All crit damage amulet is at the top of the list currently, then a 50% crit dmg 2x gold crit or similar quiver. I've only found 1 gold crit damage line on a quiver since that feature was introduced, crazy rare it seems.

 

I know that feeling. I was planning to make a crit damage belt since I've already crafted 2x 3/4 crit decorations, but the % crit damage lines were more common on the decoration (1 of the 3 possible enchantments vs 1 of 5), so I' actually shifting my focus on making a crit belt and a crit damage decoration... so very sad.

 

Interesting. I have about 8 blue belts with 16%+ crit damage on them, but I'm struggling to find 240+ critical hit ones. And % damage torsos haven't fallen for me since I crafted that semi-decent one in the crafting thread. I have so many projects going on with little gold and resources it makes it tough to focus on one item .

Yes it is. I'm both impressed and confused. It took a lot of farming to get that set, yet the toon shows a decided lack of farming. Darkness421, did you take a break after the Christmas event and just recently come back?

 

I have no equipment advice, but I'm very curious about your control setup.

Hunting Trap and Dive on your right mouse button? Why don't you have one of the ranged attacks there, something with no cooldown?

Deadly blow on left mouse button? Are you essentially a DK in RA clothing? ... all melee, no ranged fighting? Of course, you have hunting arrow at key 1 (do you have a programmable keyboard that allows you to reassign key positions?); I use key 1 for my Net (I'm under the impression that most RA prefer Net over Hunting Trap ... among other things, you can direct the Net to a speciific target anywhere on the screen, whereas the Trap is something you have to set and run away from), fairly frequently, but not with the efficiency of clicking on mouse buttons. (Are you possibly left handed, so using mouse on the left, keypad on the right???)

But, you're using a quiver, not a shield, so no blocking. You get up close and personal with the enemy, but let them slash away at you?

This isn't necessarily a criticism, it's just a setup so foreign to the way I play a ranger, that I'd love to hear how you go about it.

My left hand:

• Pinkie finger mans the Shift [stand still] and Ctrl [reveal items]
• Ring finger is on the TAB key [to swap right mouse button skills]
• Middle finger is on the #1 key playing the [Net] skill, and slides over to #2 key playing the [Wolves/Treant] skill
• Index finger is on the #3 key playing the [Deadly Blow] skill, and also shifts over to#4 key playing [Thicket of Thorns], and to the #5 key playing [Adrenaline]
• Thumb is on the G key playing [Dive], and shifts to H key to play [Bird of Prey], and even to the J key to grab [Potions]

Right hand on basic 2-button mouse:

• Left mouse button is Hunting Arrow
• Right mouse button switches between Precise Shot and Scatter Shot

Yes i stopped the game for a while, then i started again but with a dk (now lvl 50)

I have been able to get that set because i had a guild before and we were kinda maniacal to get it.

About the controls

I feel more precise with the hunting arrow and the pierce shot on my keyboard buttons maybe because i almost never use the shift button. I guess i use the hunting trap because of the lower cooldown but i never really through of using the net.

 

hehhehe, i don't even use hunting arrows or net both pvp and pvp and i am quite successful in both world!!
