I'm curious regarding this discussion of who is and who isn't a "true" exploiter: Did the alt account for @_Baragain_ get banished? The one that he used to test the exploit?

I know: Worm, can, open, don't.

1) If you are adamant that you used the exploit several times, picked up the loot, but then threw it out, you could try explaining this to your own language team at Support, but I really don't fancy your chances. Whether you kept the loot or not, whether you discarded the items because you didn't really want them or you felt guilty about keeping them, the fact is: you did make deliberate use of the exploit.
2) You are incorrect in your assertion that Big Point chose to ban first and look for guilty players later. A/Cs were only suspended/banned after carefully checking that only exploit abusers would be caught in the net.
3) Your a/c was suspended, not perma-banned. This is because that initial investigation indicated that you were not one of the worst exploit abusers.
4) The automatic response given to the exploit abusers saying that their a/c has been suspended pending an investigation, is just that. A/Cs where exploit abuse was detected, have been suspended (perma-banned for the worst offenders) and the investigation is on-going. There will likely be further ramifications for the players who cheated. Big Point will announce further action once that investigation is complete.
5) This will not be resolved here in the forum. Contacting your own language Support team is your best course of action.

 

I was curious too. That is why I made a brand new account to test it with. I knew that it was against the rules and I would never be stupid enough to risk my account that I put years of work into. The advantage of having this isolated account is that I can also personally track BigPoint's actions through this. Right now, after 1 hour of testing the bug, the toon has a temporary ban. This tells me that the people who got banned likely did more than one hour. Also, I get to keep track of when the cheaters get unbanned, and if any action was taken. If my cheat account is unbanned and still has his unearned goodies, I'll be pissed. I'm hoping to see one of two things. Either I hope that all the unearned crap is gone when it is unbanned, or the temp ban turns into a perma ban. Any other outcome is unacceptable and I'll be back to the point where I say "enough is enough" and I quit this game because it tells me that BigPoint won't go the distance and do what needs to be done to address cheating in this game.

Good job Please share the real result with us honestly. Too many people interested in this. From my point of view a rollback of the cheater's account is not an option. If they won't be punished, they will use bugs forever. My minimal satisfaction would be to delete all their stones , clovers ( and also the mounts, pets, etc. from the Zumpe's market). Probably more so all can learn from mistakes forever.

I like how you think, but if they delete stuff that people got legitimately or even payed real money for without just banning the toon, then they'd probably find themselves in legal hot water. It would probably be easier to justify closing their accounts for good (since they did violate the ToS), than it would be to open that can of worms.

 

Hi all, i've been on a vacation for the last 20 days. Yesterday i logged in with my brother's account and i found one more character called "botkiller123" (it had items from 5th anniversary event like CoT, egg openers etc). Neither me or my bro created that character because we were on holiday togheter, also we are the only two people who know his account password...

Was his account hacked?

 

If I would have to guess, your brother gave out the password to someone else but didn't mentioned you about it.
Account sharing must be the most reason for "hacked" accounts out there....
(not saying you would be doing it )

i read now at few comments from different people (youtube. facebook...) that the pinata bug was reported on the testserver. Is this true? Did you bring the event on live server knowing about the bug?

 

I personally have found a video with similar bug from TS ... and it is now on live servers. Not fixed ... AKA still functioning.

 

I would like to know what the alternatives are for buying premium. Is it possible using PayPal?

 

Yes, Paypal is one of the ways to purchase premium (or anders, etc) for Drakensang in the USA. It might be different outside the US.

I have to say that they have been nothing but polite, helpful, and explain things clearly when they can't help or have to wait on someone else to deal with the issue. WTG to both of them.

I got one today, and that ended a 2.5 week streak of bad luck... 18 days... three times longer than our resident crybaby's complaint.

 

Are you one of thouse people (or kids) that like words "lol" and "cry" so much they use it when ever then can? Did you hear of a word, "conversation"?

Somewhat same as my friend, his betting 2 weeks no golden clover or more.

I don't like this system of "chanse", they should randomly pick 2 days per month when you could get golden clover thats would be fair for all players. The way it is now is very unfair, some get a lot and some get non or less.
