I think it would be great if the upcoming PvE Leaderboards would be able to sort also by class. Maybe not every section but if there will be solo boss runs e.g. This how we also could see differences of the classes in boss runs which would maybe make your work easier with balancing classes (in PVE).

I like the new inventory sort button, it's pretty handy actually!
I'm glad about the direction you took, moving the new class and new content expansion (lv55) in the far future and you are now bringing more paraleles + awesome features which really makes the new fun in gaming ! Keep on the good work! These past months with updates have been the best since R155 I think One more big hooray for that merchant who sells the uniques with materis! It's really a game changer for many old player. That guy who finally pushed that feature through, you should promote him ;O

 

Try going form old player to new player. It's so annoying that PW openes only on 50lvl I'll probably pause again its getting on my nervs the insane grind for level just to open paralel, ruins the fun of game completely.

 

nah, leveling a new char to lv50 is not that long, it took me about 16 days only

 

Then you my sir are no life. You need like 30-40 hours of boring farming to get from lvl 45-50... Not being mean but 16 days? come on...

I agree, I'm probably just going to derp on the forum and only play while events are active. I hope the 8 AUG event gives a fine amount of exp All other event ive played so far (New moon and Anniversary) gave a low amount of exp. But atleast they were rewarding (sort of) and fun to play.

 

Hi Haruki, what about the tower with 50 floors to climb to measure the pve player skills ? I hope you know to create a system that measures the skill and not the damage buyable at the shop ...

I have two questions:

First I have a question about the dragon hide skill for DKs in PVP. When I play PVP i have dragon hide with the "Pact of the dragon" (using dragon hide frees you from stuns and any other negative effects) and "Golden scales" (while dragon hide is active you are immune to all negative effects) setup.

When I play pvp oftentimes when I try to activate this skill it gets interrupted by someone freezing or stunning me and I wonder what the logic behind this is? I mean, if I already activated it - shouldn't I actually be immune to freezing? And if he freezes me just before I activate it - shouldn't it break me free? If we do things at the same time, shouldn't my skill "win"? I'm having real trouble seeing how this 1 second cooldown timer fits in to this whole picture and how I get frozen since my basic understanding is that it should break me free from negative effects and keep me free for the whole duration of the skill being active.

Second question I have is about dwarves. The way dwarves have been designed until now they are by far the easiest character to build for PVE. Since the machine gun turrets can't make critical hits a dwarf can completely ignore items with crit hit rate and crit dmg % and focus completely on dmg and speed. Since I can kite while the monsters run into the line of fire as I run around (also meaning I can dodge projectiles) I don't have to worry about bulking up on lots of HP and Armor either since they can't stay up for long anyway. In the end this has made dwarves the "have to have in group" class for dmg. Mages and Rangers can go for full dmg and speed to with the difference that they can't dodge projectiles while handing out massive dmg. My question is if there are any plans to balance the dwarves so that a PVE dwarf has to worry about hp, armor, crit hit rate and crit dmg % like the other classes in and outside groups?

6 Days? I have spent 3 weeks without gilded clover. so far i have only got 2 or 3 clovers from DQ's XD
Meanwhile some other players are having more than 6 day streaks and getting clovers all the time.
It is "random" like the drops are random ... like the map instances are random ... etc

The negligence of CHR and crit damage is a 2-sided sword: Dwarves still get all those crit enchantments on items which are useless to them (and there are many unique items featuring crit enchantments as well). That does not actually make it easier to build a char with what you get dropped. ^^

 

Although damage seems like a much more common enchantment.

As with several other legit users, I too got what the support called 'a preemptive ban' that is still effective. The ban message clearly says to contact our support for details and that we did. I suppose it would not take more than a few minutes for the regional support to check the accounts and see that there has been no illegitimate change during the whole course of the event, except from normal drops and items bought with real money. But when we sent detailed information of the changes to the regional support, even money payment details and receipts, they simply said that 'a special team is responsible and we cannot do anything'. So, 'a special team' that has determined that no regional support personnel should become involved or should have the authority to do anything at all. Today's announcement also declares that changes are irreversible and that regional support cannot check or be in any way involved at all. If they are so certain that they did everything right, why do they declare the changes to be 'irreversible' and deny the local support to check the claims of those who can prove they were legit? Is there nothing here that seems fishy to you?

In summary, if you think that the company is doing it for your own good, you're gravely mistaken. This is an obvious plan to milk people for more money. As game veterans already have posted in here, the bug was known from the test server and so they knew about it and intentionally transferred it to the main server. The exploitation of such a massive bug gave them the perfect excuse for a mass ban. You see, the game's main problem is that old players had already bought nearly everything and we were not shelling in a lot of money anymore. I was not spending any money this year and I definitely did not use the bug simply because I already had all of my gems in perfect/royal quality, I could not really improve anything. By creating a situation that they would 'be forced' to delete the items from thousands of accounts, the majority of them being some the most active and oldest players who had already spent thousands to buy gems that now will be deleted, it feels obvious to me that this was a predetermined plan to milk a boatload of money from them once again.

And please don't give me the crap about reaching 'great lengths to ensure that no legit users were affected'. The announcement clearly says 'thousands of accounts'. For a 5 minute check per account, 5000 accounts would take 416 hours to be checked. A dozen people are needed to check these accounts in 7 days. A dozen people are what, the whole DSO development team? Not even that? You checked nothing, you simply wrote a script and banned whoever got many logins in Kingshill or used a lot of piniatas or whatever.

Will it be possible in the future to transmute a piece of gear with another piece of gear?

 

It would take a lot less when you automate it with a script that checks the database for cheating. Suck it up, the gems are gone, and they will stay that way.

My test account was unbanned today, and I can verify that all gems are gone, not like you all couldn't figure that out from all the cheaters crying a river of tears, but that is the only thing that they took away. That toon still has the costumes, the emotes, the essence, the draken (from Gnob spheres), and everything else that wasn't a gem. I'm betting that those made up a much smaller percentage of the cheaters and, with the exception of the draken, they have no impact on character strength. Still, I hope that this highlights the poor coding of the game's back end systems that they couldn't identify these too and hopefully we will have a couple of lighter releases while they fix the back end crap.

 

All of the accounts were unbanned today, "heavy exploiters" and everyone else's. You can see people who were bragging that they got everything in the social media now posting that they logged in again. The "various bans depending on the severity" claim is a ruse.

As I thoroughly described in my previous post, I am no exploiter and I could very easily prove it. I met several other people in FB claiming that they did not use the exploit and they still got banned, so I can only guess that I am not the only one. As you mentioned, they used some script to check the database and, at the same time, they do not allow legit users the chance to try and prove their innocence. My effort to contact the support was met with an almost instantaneous, automatic reply stating, in summary, "we cannot do anything and please do not involve us". So, I got every gem into my account deleted, all high quality gems that I have paid a lot of money for throughout the years, and I cannot even debate about it.

And, lo and behold, today that everyone's gems have been deleted, there is a massive sale for gems!

This obviously was a move for the company to make money. I am not a fan of conspiracy theories, but the conclusion that littlebiggirl came to seems logical. Otherwise, why would they not allow the regional support to double-check their "findings"? If you are planning to spend any money again, thoroughly reconsider. I already moved to another game and I strongly advise you to check for new games too - if they result to such practices in order to make a quick profit, it will sure not survive for much longer.

 

No, it makes it easier in choosing what to do. For example, my mech almost never does (1) new moon event or (2) destructor farming. The new moon sets are all crit oriented, and the relevant pieces in the destructor mechanical set drops are also crit oriented.

 

So then, care to explain why the script thought you were a cheater?

 

Well .. I got my Guilded Clover after just 7 days login, with that being sead I still find the feature unfair.
When I get the chanse to get the Clover and my friend don't or other way around, someone is always unhappy. Can we just all be friendly?
Pick random dates when we can get then (CM Greg can do that) but dont tell us the dates, we will login everyday at least to check and when we see that we can get then, we will be more happy and content then how it is now by chanse.
