I cannot explain something I know nothing about. The only reasonable assumption would be that because I bought a lot (1200-1400) of "piniatas" with real money prior to the announcement/patch that there was a bug and used them all together. I even posted my disappointment about the quality of the items I got in a thread here when that happened, I think it was right after you yourself complained about the quality drop compared to the test server.

I also have a question. Would you be willing to contemplate why they do not even allow the regional support to manually double check the script's findings? It is rhetoric, you do not need to answer, but I would be content if only you considered this, along with the rest of the facts. I dropped the game anyway, so I can only advise caution to those who choose to remain.

PS. My sincerest apologies if I do not reply to any further messages. I only logged in after a friend linked the announcement to me. I am logging off now and, since I am not playing the game anymore, it is highly unlikely that I will be coming back. I wish you, and every other player, all the best.

 

@Red_Jaeger If you are convinced that you did nothing wrong i propose to get legal action on this. BP has to prove that you cheated.

 

Possibly because they do not trust (all of) their regional support teams, due to previous allegations of "corruption".
I don't want to know what would happen in the community if some actual bug users would be unbanned again by regional support.

On the other hand, I do think there needs to be a way to plead innocent and get a fair "trial", at Bigpoint support.

 

The combination of the gem-removal and the gem event shows your greed once again... In the end, money is the only thing that actually matters. I'm glad to leave this game and spend my time somewhere else. Many are leaving right now... and I can't blame them. The concept of this game is good, but the game itself is unrewarding and boring. The amount of variation is rather small. And that recent bug and your way of fixing it has showed me that it's really time to leave... Good thing I never paid a dime, I can't regret it then.

I give this game 1,5-2 years before the servers will be closed. The game died a long time ago but it's just a matter of time before the servers will actually be closed .

Enjoy the game... as long as it lasts, and wait for the next huge bug that will be made available by the stupidity of the team.

Well it doesn't really matter anymore. The saddest part of this bug is the fact that most people on the forum are acting like.
You broke the rules stop crying and then they come with the example of the bug users. But it's so funny that i see so many players on the forum that came to me in the past like: He you know every bug ingame right (Talking about the relog bug) can you tell me how to do it. Guess what they relogged a lot of times to kill bosses like heredur and grimmag. And so did 90% of the players that voted to ban all the bug users.

So right now you guys will be like, but but but but relogging in the PW doesnt give you such an huge advantage. But exploiting the pinata bug does. Well not sure about that tho. A endgame boss on fatal mode drops atleast 2 Legendary items lets say that i will have 3 legendary items each time i kill heredur. One run heredur on fatal with my usual farming groups takes me approximately 90 seconds. That means i get 6 legendary items each 3 minutes which is around 60 legendary items each hour. If you're doing full maps you wont be able to farm 60 legendary items.

Not to forget to mention that a port cost 180 andermant. Because i needed 90 seconds to kill the boss i can do around 20 boss runs in one hour with the relog bug. So that 3600 andermant. The legendary items that you obtained have a lot of glyphs as well. 8400 if i'm right. 40 andermant is what you have to pay to get 400x Glyphs of Power tat means that one legendary items is equal to 840 andermant. so 840x60 = 50.400 andermant. Thats a total of 54k andermant. But ofcourse there are some players who needed a longer time to kill Fatal PW boss. This doesnt mean that you didn't exploited the system. Before i forget to mention it, it took the developers around 3 weeks to fix this bug. That means 90% of the whine babys on the forums had 21 days to exploit it. I can asure you guys that they didn't do this for just a hour or 2. But multiple hours a day untill the bug got fixed. Well if this isn't stealing from bigpoint then i've no idea what is.

And for all the players out here that think bigpoint is such a great company let me tell you this.
I got threated by some players that they would kill me in real life. And they got pretty far (some where even able to pinpoint my location where i was living or almost atleast was around 5km of the track but still pretty close.)
So well i reported that and nothing happend. They made new accounts day in day out to insult me. And the only thing support did was banning the accounts they created. They could also have given them an IP ban.
But they didn't really do something to help me out. At a certain point one of them crossed the line and i only said on his main char that he will receive a ban soon enough. The next morning i logged in my account was banned for 3 days because i said he would be banned. Makes sense yup i ''totally'' agree with that ban.


So about the part that all our gems got removed well do that. It's like a permanent ban anyway. Only the players that are addicted to the game, will try to reach the same quality of the gems they possessed before the bug. Many players already stopped playing this game and this wouldn't be a problem if they were F2P. But most of them are P2W and also they used the bug on their main account.
The reason is because the game is corrupt. And i dont blame them.

Anyway there are plenty of reasons to explain you guys why we used the bug but, it would take to long to write all the points down. There's one more thing i would like to add. Me and my friends didn't use the bug to get stronger than others in the game. We actually wanted to get back at bigpoint and proof a point. We were just sick and tired of the fact that we never received help when we needed it. This game could have been so promising. But just like what happend with darkorbit they just completely destroy it.

For anyone who's thinking i'm crying over my gems is wrong. Just wanted to explain you guys why i used the bug i knew the risks.
Too bad they dont apply these punishing methods to everyone who breaks the ToS.

1) Kindly do not complain about other language teams here in the DSO English Forum. Raise your concerns in that language forum or via their Support team
2) If a player made real life threats against you, you need to send in proof (i.e. screenshots) to Support and you also need to contact your local police and file a report.
3) Note: it is for this very issue (taking in-game squabbles into real life) that BP recommends that you do not share personal details with other players.
4) If a player creates multiple game a/cs in order to harass you, then you need to send proof (screenshots) to Support..

In such cases you should contact Police not Big Point. The police can track people and with a court warrant they can contact any company or ISP and they (companies) are obligated to cooperate with the law and give them every possible information they need.

 

You cheated and you were caught. End of story. I regret the trouble you had for reporting the relog bug, though. That was wrong and Bigpoint should have backed you up or at least offered you some sort of support i.e. free name change. To prevent any future personal threats IRL, think of using VPN software. There are a dozen good ones and some of them are free. Also consider contact your local law enforcement. The can get court orders and warrants to determine who is doing this against you. That is a grave offense. The three day ban may have been levied for a violation of the ToS. You may have been accused of a threat.

The event exploiters got what they deserved. They must now play crippled characters or start from scratch.

That being said, I knew of the exploit but didn't use it. I, personally, don't believe cheating makes any game fun. How much fun can it be to have everything given free to a player? It wasn't earned. What's the point? "Look at my toon! Isn't he cool?"

I disagree with your 90% figure. That's just not right. Can't be. I will not accept that there are so many liars, cheaters and hypoctites voting for a ban.

To bad my ignore list is full of such players. If there would have been taking seriously you would have done something about it.
3) Who said that i was sharing my information. Nobody knows where i exactly live, but the fact that they are able to find my home adres within a 5 km range is pretty weird don't you think so?

So basicly what you are saying is that, you dont really care about the other players that did cheated in the past. I wonder how many players in your friendlist used the relog bug but went complaining about the pinata bug. The thing is i dont really care if i got caught or not. I knew the risks that i took. Unlike the other players i'm atleast honest about the situation. Many others are like: But i was just curious about it and tested it out. I totally agree with Baragain about this matter that if they were curious, they could always have created a new account and tested it out on a account they are willing to lose.

Well if bp finds it necessary to remove all gems (even the onces you paid for with real money) then so be it. I think there could have been plenty of punishing methods. Think about glyphs removal 25-50% of them. 100% Rankpoints removal. Rollback before the event anniversary event started. If this wouldn't have been enough for you guys then they would also be able lower the tier of all our gems. But removing every single gem is just like a permanent ban. People would have lost enough stuff that they would get back that easily. But bigpoint rather took away all the gems. So basicly people who created new accounts and didn't use the pinata bug for gems but for sphere's dont lose anything at all. Because they didn't had any gems in the first place seems legit. But then yet again, if bigpoint thinks this is the best solution about the exploiters then they must be right.

I reported people that had bulgarian accounts. I even had proof of the chat where he said it was a bulgarian account. Also that this account has been sold to multiple players. My old support team did their best to give him a permanent ban. Because it's against the ToS to sell your account. They said that there was enough proof to ban him. Wanna know what the reason is why he didn't got banned? It seems like he spended 50 euro daily on that account. This was confirmed by the mods themselves. Even tho there weren't allowed to speak about someone else their tickets.

So now you should be able to feel my frustration. Maybe now you realise why i used the bug.
I was about to stop anyway (for the onces who are directly are going to say bye bye! be orginal for just once in your life time)
This due to the fact that you dont get help at all not from support. But well as long as they get their gift everything should be alright. (Confirmed by greg during a twitch session)

The funniest part is that after we obtained all those gems we barely played with them. Not because we got banned so fast but because it was kinda boring reaching end game level.

 

I'll take your points in order:

1. I neither said nor inferred I don't care about past cheaters. The major exploit users were banned and that was a good thing. I was referring to you and your ilk, that is the anniversary event cheaters.

2. If you don't care and took your chance why are you whining? It won't do you any good.

3. No one, to my knowlege, in my guild or in my groups cheated.

4. You and the rest were appropriately punished.

5. Who are "you guys"? Certainly not the honest players.

6. Your beef about the Bulgarian cheaters is between you and Bigpoint.

7. I do not feel your frustration. I did not cheat. I also do not understand why you cheated. That is something I will not do.

8. As long as you're leaving at least you went out in style!

9. It does not matter whether you used your ill gotten gains or not. You cheated (stole) to get them.

I do not ordinarily feed the trolls but this had to be said. Good luck to you and the other cheaters with the next games.
