When you say premium accounts you really mean premium server my account covers two servers but i was told that it only is for one server, if that is so please say so at the start so people know what they are getting is not a premium account but just one server. Thank you for your time.

Before start using your credit card ... you should learn at least the game basics.
Every server is separate instance ... you can create account on every server but they are not connected to each other. The only thing that connects them is your GLOBAL account.
When you buy premium you can use it only for one particular account.
That is BS. You can have 5 or more accounts at same server but you can't use the premium membership for all of them ... but only for one account (the one you paid for). If you want to use premium to all of your accounts you must pay for every single one of them ... no matter if they are at different or same server.
So ... as you can see it is not premium server but premium account.

What are you talking about I have one account only one and this account is on both east and west servers, if my account is premium then that means both servers should be covered. if you have 5 accounts on here then your right all accounts should be paided for because you have 5 accounts I only have one. I hope you understand what I am saying now don't try to make it about many accounts because I only have one. So as I was saying I bought a premium for west server and it was only west server I got it on not both. There for what i got was a west server premium

Yes Traki, legally speaking, he is right. They call that cross server thing an 'account'. I wouldnt personally assume it would work like he suggests, I havent seen anyone else with such an assumption, but what he says kind of makes sense :))

According to which law? US interpretation of laws doesn't apply in my country or in Germany or in Luxembourg ... that is why they made changes to GTC.

Does the Premium Account apply only to the character it was purchased on or all my characters?
    • The Premium Account is applied to all characters linked to the account for which the Premium option was purchased on that server.

Im not arguing. What you say makes sense, it is a common sense anyway. But if we look into T&C only, and follow the game registration routine, it will ask you to create an Account, and later pick a server.

English T&C does not define what account is. It doesnt say it is different across the servers. So following that logic, one can assume account is something working across the servers.

The forum post, even hundreds of them have zero legal consequences in both US and Germany, or Luxemburg whatsoever :)

And in that regard, Luxemburg Law, or Civil Law does not apply in US too. So on paper, he is right.

I agree with you it makes no sense, but on paper, again, legally, he is correct.

Don't forget one very important thing. Those rules are global rules for all BP games ... sometimes they are different in different games (modified to the needs of that game).
It don't even need to apply to US laws :D
You forget another thing too :

Change to the contractual partner, place of jurisdiction, applicable law
    • Following internal restructuring, all the game accounts registered under Bigpoint Sàrl and Co, SCS have been transferred to our German company, Bigpoint GmbH. Your new contractual partner for your game user agreement is now Bigpoint GmbH in Hamburg and the place of jurisdiction (new: Hamburg) and the applicable law for the user agreements (new: German law) have therefore also changed.

US laws have been made irrelevant :)

Yeah, I know about the other games. DSO has no game specific rules, while it should. But if I was picky, I could interpret that as OP does.

And the German law has nothing to do with US players or any other players outside of Germany. As they offer paid services in US, they are subject to US law and forcing a user to comply with German Law is illegal by itself.

Thats why Blizzard, for example, is fighting separate lawsuites in California and Germany.

Anyway, lets stop it here. It is so unimportant, it doesnt worth us arguing over it)

The final answer to OP would be:
Don't spend your money before informing yourself. We have forums ... you can ask first and someone will reply ... you can ask even in DSO Wiki (i reply to questions every day) ... you will get information.
