More Dumb Newbie Questions

The Full Moon Rising quest - I need to bring silver essences to Rubina. How do I get them? I've gone into the mine and acquired many - but they never register. The quest still says I have 0/3500.

How do I get Wisdom Talent Points? I've acquired lots in a number of combats, but it always says I have 0. What am I doing wrong?

Just Talk to her ... there should be question mark above her head.

Just hover your pointer over the wisdom bar it will show you how much books you need for the next level.
Each level gives one wisdom point.

 

They are consumable/usable items that's why they aren't counted in the quest log. Only those quest items (blue chests) are usually counted in the quest log, but consumable items aren't. You can see their number in the inventory anyway, so... Just gatherer them all first and then hand in the quest.

You're definitely not doing your Daily Quests. The DQs for wisdom points are a huge help, so don't forget to complete at least one to get those.

Press "Q" and select the last tab "Daily Challenges".

 

You need to have the required essences in your inventory, not in your essence slots (because that way it won't take them).
