Definitely an improvement, but still a little squishy for my tastes. If a Fatal boss can hit for 10k damage, then all the DPS in the world won't help you survive the hit. I will always say the a 2H DK needs offense and defense in balance or they will hit a point where they can't move up in difficulty any more.

 

yeah that's true, but i have found a simple solution to avoid that: i just don't do fatal bosses solo :3
and if i do, i'd probably just resort to walking around in circles so they can't hit me

and i'll say it again, i've adapted my playing style to being squishy, and it works quite well

Usually when I need to be defensive I use 3/3 Keen set. Now I just need to switch from cd belt with hp belt without too much sacrificing offensive stats.

Going to update again when I got Black Warlord Set.

 

Very nice improvements to your suitability and DPS. Even when you drop in one stat, your improvements elsewhere justify the change. I think the most impressive is our jump in crit damage between OCT and DEC, lol.

 

very nice improvement mate. I would turn your focus on increasing your critical hit rate. You have a lot of critical damage, however your crit is not very high. Your damage is sufficient for having a good amount of critical damage, but it needs to be compensated with a lot of critical hit rate
I would make boosting your crit priority

 

If Gun is still using the defender decoration/hammer with crit line, that would be 12%-13% crit with a good weapon decoration. Using a decent crit gem in that and hitting 60% is possible.

What Gun really needs is a DPS gear set like the Black Warlord or Bellicose set so that switching decorations doesn't impact DPS too much, but that is a matter of time.

Currently I'm using 48%cd 235chr decoration(+250 onyx) & 49%cd belt. The main source for crit is from the hammer.
I have 711 crit belt and some items that can be swap around that makes 56% crit rate at top without touching damage, with more or less %cd.

While playing in between 40% -56% crit rate.. the different isn't significant because %cd will drop and increase relatively if I change the crit rate.
To not touch crit dam I need 3x%iwd/1xchr axe or 2x%iwd/2xchr hammer. This weapon for sure pump my crit rate over 60%. I have the ingredients.. just need luck .

Have 20k draken ready to buy Black Warlord set for DPS. And keep trying to get that future weapon for more chr.

That is an insane amount of crit and crit damage. Sure, damage is a little low for a 2H build, but it is hard to argue with the overall DPS.

 

I agree, I need more damage and that is why ive decided to craft up a hammer that will be 236% iwd +2130 critical hit at 55 and it will allow me to reach hilarious numbers. With the current DPS I can smash people in pvp for 30-44k damage after headbutt.
The more critical damage i take off, the more my defenses sky rocket. People think i have over 7k base damage but i tell them its only 5k lol
With the new hammer I will have crit go down sure but im certain with upgrades and better gems i can get back up to 60% crit rate with 1-2k more base damage.
Got all the ingredients and can't wait

 

I know the feeling. People accuse me of using reds when I'm running greens.

I really ought to make a damage test video in open PvP so that when people start whining, I can just send them to youtube, lol.

 

haha same problem here. If you hit over 10k on someone in swerdfield, they immediately start throwing accusations at me, like ess user

 

With reds, I've hit over 70K. With greens, I regularly hit over 20k.

 

A month ago i did 21k dmg in duel competition against Marshall war with wolf slaughter shield by using ground breaker with the 200% extra dmg talent... He died but he couldn't SAT anything about ess xD. I have to admit i was shocked too about that unespected acumulation off factors... Not blocking, and crit hit...

I like your Lvl 50 Fresh Meat thread. I think it's paid off.
Look at late March, I can imagine how's the struggle playing PW with that stats. At this stage most likely need help from stronger players to get through PW or need blue ess to solo.
In April the toon solo able with green ess(MWS finally able to heals back HP) in painful thus able to farm in profitable manner and getting better and better since then.
