Help if you can please. Questions since update

Hi all, i'm asking for help if any of you would be so kind as to input whatever knowledge you have on the following questions. It would sorely help a confused player.

1) I have 3 X Tier 1 old pw uniques. Is there any use of them now? As in will i be able to do something to them to make them Tier 3(Which is now the minimum rank for new pw)

2) Does 4 X Tier 3 of the new PW uniques = 1 X tier 4? (Usual practice before update. 4 of same = 1 of higher tier)

3) Does 4 X Tier 3 normal items (desert etc) = 1 X Tier 4 normal item?

4) I have a full Tier 3 Black warlord set. Any idea if this will be given an option (Like sapphire runes) to morph into post r185 versions? Or does 4 X tier 3 Black warlord item now = 1 X tier 4 Black Warlord item?

5) What is a Draken Core?

Whenever I have a question I always scour the forums for an answer before posting. To the above questions, there isn't an answer. Only variants, for eg: 3X pre r185 lvl 50 +1 X post r185 lvl 55 = New tier lvl 55 item. etc etc.

I really hope some knowledagble kind soul can help with answers to my questions. The community has been great with helping thus far.

1. Yes. You can upgrade them into new ones.
2. No. Upgrading Tiers is not working like that anymore. You will need a different elemental cores and Pristine cores in order to upgrade the items.
3. Event items can't be crafted/upgraded ...yet.
4. Probably yes ...in the future.
5. Draken core is a core used for crafting Event items and regular unique items ... this kind of crafting is not available ATM.

 

Can you explain this better?
T1 stuff is just enligible for pristine core trasfer so it can be converted into new T1 unique but cannot actually be "upgraded", no unique can be upgraded anymore AFAIK.

I have to guess that you use the "enchantment transfer" as a sort of upgrade?
Because those cores let you transfer the enchantments from an item to an unique but there won't be any tier upgrade.
The only way to get an higher tier unique AFAIK is to actually drop/buy it (after that you can take the enchantments from a lower tier unique and transfer em onto the higher tier unique).

Probably there's something I don't know about those "upgrades".

The answer to number 1. "yes you can upgrade them into new ones". Is this available now or unreleased as of yet?
If it is available now. Please teach a noob how to do it?

 

Hmmmm ... does this mean the Full Moon T1 and T2 stuff I have is stuck at those levels, that I won't be able to farm more Vargulf T1 to craft into T2 and eventually T3?

I hope that's not so, as those uniques are the only reason why I've progressed in the game since I hit level 50, and I was counting on upgrading them up so that I might regain some PW end-boss survivability (which was taken away with the end-boss "improvements" brought on by R185).

 

As far as I know the event items and all the other unique items (except PW uniques) are yet to be reworked.

OK people I really want to explain to you all ... but so far I am stuck only to theory ... because I only have these much to work with



I will ask CMClayton for plenty of resources (all kinds of cores/ materi fragments/ ... etc) so I can make a comprehensive guide.
