    I tried searching but can't seem to find a thread that discusses this specifically.

    I reached lvl 55 and decided to see what would come when throwing in 4 green items into crappy 2.0.R185

    I throw in 4 non tier green boots. All level 55.

    All with at least a gold line in base stats. Seems logical enough that I would indeed stand a chance of getting a gold line.

    Hit craft, sure enough the 1295 gold hp line hits, yet in the new boot, the line has dropped to 915.... Hmmmm. Seems like since all the boots are lvl 55 that gold line should stay the same, not drop.

    I barely bother to play this game much as it is, but if I spend the time looking and trying to find gold lines for crafting and then they magically lower, what the *self edit* is the point?

    Did you accept the result?, there was a similar visual bug when applying glyphs of power to some items, maybe the workbench is displaying lower/incorrect values but the real outcome will have the proper stats.

    EDIT: Found it, I know it's not the same scenario, but might be a shared bug, who knows.

    On a more practical note, why are you doing that craft?

    There are no gold enchantments on the items, so all you are doing is passing on a set of base stats to the blue item with one of four crappy enchantments, but that could be done with a 1/4 chance using junk boots that don't have any gold base stats.

    P.S. Unless you accepted it and it stayed the same, it is a visual bug of the same type as seen here.

    I never intended to keep the craft, I was simply testing out how the base lines worked when crafting. It seemed far better to waste basic greens on testing than it did for higher tiered items or ones worth keeping in case it didn't work as I had thought.

    It is nice to know that this is only a visual bug, so I won't have to worry about that in the future.

    I think that after crafting you get the kind of (HP) lines shown in the upgrade window:

    Even if it's just a visual bug, considering that numbers are important is this game, this is unacceptable.
    We already had a new release since this bug was reported :rolleyes: and it wasn't fixed.
    I'm still not 100% sure that it's just a visual bug considering the recent HP problems.:confused:
    Either way... I want this to be fixed ASAP.

    EDIT: Just for reference:

    There are lots of problem with this expansion items craft. Even % values are scale down if you craft items with diff levels. And if you add to that fact that items value can varies a lot.... all I can hope is that all problems are because BP nerf down drop in this first few month.

    And I was right.:rolleyes:
    Inherited base stats and result before accepting:

    So, it's a visual bug after all... exactly just like in the upgrade item window.:rolleyes:

    I had to check/confirm it myself.:cool:

    Well, turns out it isn't, I don't have the screenshots right now (will probably add later), but the workbench IS demoting some enchantments under specific scenarios:

    Let's say you are crafting 4 green to blue, and you have 2 T4 greenies and 2 no-tier, T1 items, I don't exactly know how the workbench calculates the tier of the result, but so far I've seen it producing no-tier items only (I'd need further testing to confirm), so, let's assume the blue item took the base enchantments from the T4 item, but the resulting blue is a no-tier item, then, our lovely workbench will downgrade the base enchantments to match with their new no-tier status, feel free to check it out yourselves with something like 2xT3+2xT0.

    By the way, I accepted the result, it kept the "adjusted" base stats and it's giving me the exact values if I remove all my equipment and have just the item on, it's not visual when the enchantments were adjusted by the workbench to match the lower tiered result.

    You can see that in my pics. I got a tier1 item result with the base stats inherited from a no tier item, i.e.:
    No tier->tier1
    13->15 Damage
    1110->1132 HP
    585->591 Armor

    Looks like I've found something else that's not right... with the armor:

    there is nothing wrong with that. look at the 4.2% armour value line. this gets applied to the armour value and works out at the number shown in your stats
