Announcement Infested Sewers of Kingshill

MAIN EVENT​

Storyline

Earthquakes shake Kingshill, and channel workers are disappearing during their shift.
Sir Hardy asks the player to go down to the sewers to investigate.
The player finds out that gigantic, man-eating worms have invaded the sewers and captured the channel workers to eat them.
The player must free the citizens and kill the worms.


Maps

Increased chance of possible rewards such as Plumber´s Dogtags (Event Progress) and some other Event Items in higher difficulties.

Sewers beneath the Fairground
The map is located in Kingshill between Thabo and Gnob and the Player can enter it without any keys or other requirements.

Player can farm the event progress item “Plumber´s Dogtags”, as well as “Sewer Keys”.
There are Neat Amphoras, Festive Amphoras and Golden Amphoras.
Player can walk to Jullov the Smith who offers Event items and other items.

Sewers beneath the Castle
The map is located in Kingshill next to the King Harold.

To enter the map, the Player needs a “Valve of the Castle´s Sewer”, which can be acquired via crafting, via event progress or in the Shop.

The Player will find the Event Boss, which can only be damaged with Antidotal Essences.


Sewers beneath the Harbor
The map is located in Kingshill close to the Jesters.
There are Neat Amphoras, Festive Amphoras and Golden Amphoras and sometimes Cursed Amphoras.
The Player needs 12 Sewer Keys to enter the map

Sewers beneath the Crypt of Kings
The map is located in Kingshill next to the Catacombs.
There are Neat Amphoras, Festive Amphoras and Golden Amphoras and sometimes Cursed Amphoras.
The Player needs 18 Sewer Keys to enter the map.

Boss Fight

The boss room is a small area of the sewers that is completely covered in dirty water and mud.
There are 1-3 worms active at a time. Once the player kills a worm, another one will spawn on a "random" position of the map.
There are 9 worms in total.​

Chest Reward:
Once the Player has defeated all the Worms, the chest can be opened.
The chest can contain Rat Lure Cases (crafting parts for the Epic Mount Plague Rat), Generic & Unique Equipment in different Tiers, Gold, Golden Plumber´s Dogtag and Plumber's Dogtag (Event Progress for the main Event and Challenge), and Gems.

CHALLENGE
​

During the challenge, more powerful creatures and areas of poisonous gas flood the event locations. The player needs special essences to beat the toxic monsters (they have a shield status effect).

The challenge will be activated a few days after the main Event and the poisonous gas will switch between the Sewers beneath the Harbor and Sewers beneath the Crypt of Kings.
The entries in Kingshill will indicate which map is currently flooded with toxic gas.

Additional information: There is a chance that a Cursed Amphora appears in the Sewers beneath the Crypt of Kings and Sewers beneath the Harbor. ​

Once the Player opened a Cursed Amphora a special opponent will appear. The Player then will have a limited amount of time to kill the opponent. ONLY IF THE CHALLENGE IS ACTIVE this opponent will have a chance to drop the Epic Mount Rat.

Opponent may also drop: Antidotal Essences, Draken, Sewer Key, Plumbers Dogtag, Valve of the Castle´s Sewer, Valve Gate, Valve Spring, Valve Handle, Valve Stem, Andermight Powder, Sewer Parasite, Rat Lure, Nightglow Lily.


Champions

The champions “The Peeler” and “The Mother of Maggots” have a chance to appear in the Sewers beneath the Harbor. “The Mother of Maggots” will be displayed as a red skull icon on the mini-map and for calling “The Peeler” the Player needs to click on a chest.

The champions “The Pet Maniac” and “The Puppeteer” have a chance to appear in the Sewers beneath the Crypt of Kings.

The Pet “Loving Kraken” can be acquired from the champions “The Mother of Maggots” and “The Pet Maniac”.
The Pet gives 5% more health points and can be added to the Stickerbook.
The Pet “Living Skull” can be acquired from the champions “The Peeler” and “The Puppeteer”.
The Pet gives 5% more health points and can be added to the Stickerbook.
