In game announcements

    Many players don't have access to forum or don't want to spent their time here.
    It would be useful having in game announcements, for events and other important things.
    Something like this.

    Every player has access to the forums. If they do not wish to use that to keep updated that's on them. Personally I do not want superfluous data being downloaded while playing; possibly causing game freezes like the compendium does.

    I guess is ok the way you put the info but should be on the journal section.If they dont pop the info to disturb i guess is ok for me.

    Personally i thing this idea is usefull :D but the real problem isn't this, the real problem is actually the release announcements info, it will be better if they released those before the date of patch so that all players we know what changes will occour and not after the release dates like this one today. :(
