Someone, please, explain this to me...

I'm a Spellweaver. Level 52.97%. I'm standing at the door of the Djinn. It says there is only Excruciating mode. I've never beaten a map/boss on Painful, so:

How in Satan's Realm am I supposed to beat the Djinn on Excruciating???? Please, someone explain this to me?

I've still some quests left in the Treasure Cave, and I'm going to go do them now (Saturday, June 3rd, 2017), so by the time I get an answer I will be level 53.

I just, this evening, did Sultan and the lamp solo. Used blue and orange essenses. It was a cold war. .. Pun intended.

I've actually never did Balor alone either. However, Balor is not Excruciating only, either.

Just tried Kabob with one other person (SW as well) and I don't see where we did any damage.

Just found the "Depths of Demise". I've just been there for one of the town quests and was going to go back but forgot about it.
What a wonderful place for 50-55. This is where I should have been when I was farming to get from 51 to 52 in the great desert.

And I'm getting bone coins! In just a few hours I've doubled what I had from the 185 intro time when we were getting bone coins all over the place. I'd resigned myself to "it's gonna take 2 years at this rate to get 40000 for the carpet". Not so if I farm here. Nice drop rates, too.

 

You're not... at least solo. Endgame bosses are this way. If you had done Balor before r185 it would have been the same (I actually feel Balor was tougher to solo but mayhaps my humble toon is stronger now )

I did solo Shish Kabob and the Lamp but I waited until only recently to even attempt this. Best thing to do is get some group help or put this one aside for now.

if its as hard as balor was before than without a group u cant kill him, it sucks u dont have normal mode like Asar, at least painful, excruciating is super super hard for normal players
