    So, i got a few ideas to maybe make more fun pvp and farming. feel free to comment and tell me if something isn't good or etc.


    PVP:


    Ranked pvp and normal pvp:

    Now there is pvp leaderboards that doesn't do anything, i thought that it would be fun if there was a normal pvp ( just for fun, only honor points) and ranked pvp.

    Features: there would be seasons ( one month) just like in PW. Your every pvp win, loss, kills, deaths and honor points gained (during the season) counts into ranked leaderboards and it affects your position. ( gold, silver and bronze ranks, like 400 players a rank) Next season your last seasons rank ( not number but color (golden for example)) can be seen in pvp matches.

    there would be rewards in seasons, just like in parallel world, maybe there would be a leaderboard for every different mode, or all in the same.

    also much more quests for ranked pvp. For example: "win 200 ranked pvp matches any mode: 500 ander, 5 soulstone, 100 gold, and 1-2 gilded clover.", "win 1000 ranked 1v1 match: 1000 ander and maybe a new epic or mythical mount related to that pvp match ( or a new fancy costume), and those quest for all modes and many more quests for pvp uniques ( sets, that can be used in pw too) so u can almost farm in pvp and get strong w/ playing pvp.

    ranked pvp could be lvl 50+ or the quests could be lvl 50+

    More pvp ideas:

    this would make some diversity into pvp matches: make multiple arenas for every mode! that would be very fun. for example, 10 different arenas for 1v1 with new artwork and obstacles.

    Siege mode:

    let me explain roughly the match:
    there is this kinda map: [​IMG]
    2 Bases, 2 teams. Simple, both of the teams try to destroy guarding towers to get into other teams base and destroy the main tower (somekinda crystal), i know it seems like 6v6 but it's not. there is 5 or 3 lanes: top, middle ( or mid 1,mid2 and mid 3), and a bottom lane. each lane has towers, bot and top 3 towers for each lane and team ( see the map ), middle lanes have 2 towers.

    These towers have high defense and attack hard, so you need help from team mates and minions spawning that are almost all the time from the base. (match is 10v10 i say, but if map is 3 lanes it's 5v5.) so, these towers are harder than in 6v6.

    Also between lanes there is jungle area, there is special mobs that give buff to the whole team ( bigger is better and smaller mobs not give so big buffs.), some big mobs spawn maybe few times a game and they can give massive dmg boost and spawn super minions and siege machines.

    in oppenents base and in your own base, there is many towers, 2 special crystals ( destroying them grants slightly stronger minions for a little time ( these crystals spawn back in maybe 5-10 min.) and there is the big crystal, when it's destroyed the destroying team wins.

    In this map, the area is in twilight, u cant see opponents or enemy minions out side your view radius. (see map) When a team mate gets enemies (minions and players) into his view range, your whole team can see them. (there is bushes and obstacles where you can hide and u can not be seen.) your base is not in twilight for your team and u can see there always. (you also see always your team mates.)

    time cap maybe 30 min

    Raid mechanism:



    new parallel world "map":
    only 50+ lvl
    it's simple, there is a progress bar every and each run, killing mobs gives percents (not much)and killing champion grants 3-5 %. when the progress is at 100% raid boss shows up and killing it drops useful things, items, essence (high modes could drop with smaller possibility, red or pink ess.), soulstones, lockpicks, potions, infernal passages, and a new thing: Raid tokens ( with these tokens, you can buy unique raid sets, mounts and costumes. Vendor comes after a raid run, next run the vendor can sell different things and in higher modes better things with more cost, some items only avaible in infernal or fatal).


    Raid map is not a single set of a three maps. it selects randomly a map in game for example slifmoor:

    next map could be stalgard or who knows, maybe nahuatlan. this creates diversity and it's makes raids fun. Mobs are also random, maybe there is toltac warriors with dragonbrood soldiers supported by technikus engineers. (every map has different mobs.) map is in twilight so you cant see where the entrance to other map is, so you have to explore the map and kill mobs.

    Raid boss isn't grimmag or neither big paws. The boss is a mob, for example and big orbax, bigger than usual champion mob, let's say named Bulzarg the Slimy. ( with enchants and lot more hp and def than champs. and of course hard attacks, so they can be less or more difficult than PW bosses.) there would be a list for maybe a + 40 different bosses, almost all monsters that are in DSO shows up as a boss here. the name of boss doesnt change ( that orbax's name is always bulzarg the slimy when it comes to your raid as a boss).


    there could be many achvievements for raids, for example: kill all of the avaible raid bosses( there is a list and a X in a box in front of the killed bosses(only in achvievements XD)), kill 1 000 000 monsters when raiding, ( also achvievements should give something useful, not only titles and points, maybe for a completed tab there would be a mount or costume, gilded clover or a few, ander and etc. Also for a harder achvi there would be a reward ( for example that kill 1 000 000 mobs when raiding.))



    there is 3 different raids: solo, group and guild raid.

    for solo raiding there would be points and etc. as it's now in pw leaderboards.

    For group, there aren't painful rankings, only fatal and higher (maybe excru.) because the lower mods can be very fast for solo and in a good group the fatal+ is fast (every difficulty in group raid category is in a separate tab), so in group raid ranking it isn't so rewarding. In Group there only matters the time and mobs killed (usually the group isn't the same, but if the same group makes better time in a raid it shows the better one. one player can be in many groups in leaderboards.

    if u click for example the leading group ( the name is like in group finder for example "illus1ons group" if it isn't changed) it shows all the players and their outfit (costume, not items and stats ) when they were in the group.


    in guild raid it counts guild's time in one difficulty and mobs killed. guild raid needs 20 players.
    in guild raid mobs are hard and the mobs are overwhelming the raid realm, There is so much of them, due to the 20 players! ( also the progress bar is slower.) the Boss in guild raid is vastly harder than in solo raid.

    Any suggestions for new PvP features are pointless until pvp is balanced and twinks are removed from the game. PvP balance has been deteriorating for many years. Over that same time twinking has been encouraged by the devs.

    Even with the 50+ limit on the PvP ideas the twinks still have an impact. Many of the 50+ toons in the game are former twinks who achieve very high rank and other benefits from their questionable activities.

    All of the pvp ideas I have seen, played and enjoyed in other games. The difference in those games being that their devs respected the integrity of PvP.

    As for the Raid thing it is not a bad idea in itself. My main problem with it is that I play on a low population server. The outcome for the group and guild categories would be mostly predictable. Additionally the game is already running almost continuous activities/events with only a handful of days each month to wander aimlessly. I would probably do ok if this were implemented but my fellow gamers who actually have a life :rolleyes: would be left wanting.
