My first opinion is total fiasco, another pay to win event, this is BP what to ask more.
I have open 2 egs and i get 2 fireworks to celebrate 6 years waisted on this game.

The only way to benefit from this event is to visit the shop on event section and to buy from there some bufs.
No autoloot you need to look carefuly to not miss egs oppeners.
They dont provide bufs for egs opener but you can buy more expensive stuff.
Egs oppeners dont have better drop on higher dificultyes but you have better drop for them if you go in arena at higher dificulties.
Lets se if we can go in arena asa greup because untill now it seems that yu need to farm fast solo on low maps.
In arena map you can go in group but be carrefuly becaus the last wave is imposible.
I have open 15 egs no cips just fireworks, arena cips can be bought only with andermant but i will keep my wallet closed, you dont deserve my money BP.
Event progress 46 just one cip.So you need to colect 950x5 egs openners gl and may bots win.

 

The egg openers is my main concern so far about this event. They should be at least more visible.

I just opened "Events" and there is the "Be prepared for the next event!" speal.
There is currently no event running.

When I got home from work tonight, I found the event.
About 2.5 hours of play and bonus code: I've 148 openers, 1 chip, 1 stick, and some fireworks. No Truth.

Don't farm Depths of Demise, the drop rate is horible there. Entire level 1 and only got 1 opener.

Well, I've got another about 3 hours in. That's 5.5 hours total and I now have 49/950 progress.
I need another 300 openers from Great Desert for the next 10 minute run in Tegan's Sanctuary. (I only had 200 the first time and ran out before time was up. )

 

WHERY!!! WHERY!!! low drop chance of arena chips i opened like 10 eggs and 0, 10 eggs = 50 openers...

 

TEST before Release!
If a group member crashes ( and it can easly happen ), he can log in anymore and 1 coin is wasted !
If the group member is the tank, 5 coins were wasted!

The event ended.
Personally I reached 668/950.
I found the arena mode extremely slow & boring exept for the fact that the drop was good ( about glyph and frag stonie ).

A continuous main chat requesting for "event mod 1 " can point only one thing out :
Scale the event's progress by difficult .

Did you tested the difficult mode of anniversary event before the official live session ?

The event is impossible to finish while maintaining a social life and a job.
I doubt this business strategy pays of for Bigpoint on the long run.
Does it really make sense to focus on customers with no occupation and therefore less money to spend?

Maybe it is not the most effective way to pressure customers by forcing them to play, which contradicts the core concept of a game. Most companies try to create an enjoyable experience that makes people want to visit regulary and spend money occasionally, it seems to work for them.

I fell asleep while playing it, needs an overhaul.

 

Not that bad? LOL. I just played for 3 hours and have 5 progress. Although I know their RNG doesn't like me, that's still beyond pathetic. I really should dump my current account and get a new one as I get much better drops when I tried to play on other accounts.

 

Anyone who played a difficulty aside from Normal, the drop is different on higher difficulties? If it's not incredibly better, I will stick to Normal. I will not risk being one hitted.

 

Some good places for collecting egg openers: The Great Desert and the Temple of Agony (there are also eggs to be opened). The difficulty of the map doesn't matter, as the drop is the same.
The mobs on Anniversary Arena are somehow stronger then those in PW, so that came as an unpleasant surprise to me... guess I need to get much more stronger to enjoy it.
The progress is painfully slow, but I don't suppose I'll finish it, so don't care much for it. Already got plenty of buffs and "decorations" for sale plus 2 stones (and from an egg and the second from bonus code- opened the piniata at jeweller )... great prizes for the game anniversary so far
Wish there was the autoloot because the little brown bags are difficult to spot in some places

In 3 hours I've been able to reach 199/950 (and maybe stronger players gathered more progress)

 

Hello ZenGrinding, i'm just quoting your comment because I highly agree with it and if the dev team actually ever read our feedback, they'll have a higher chance of seeing this. Other than that, I will state my opinion below.




Typical boring grind fest event. Very disappointing because of the fact that this is an anniversary event. It's still a little better than Dragan Mini challenges and New Moon though, so i'll rate it 3/10.

 

I'm guessing that someone suggested bad drops and endless grind, because that seems to be what we get with this event.

Auto pickup needs to be installed as the little bags are incredibly difficult to see. Also, there needs to be something in the eggs besides consumable fireworks.

There should also be a higher rate for tougher maps.

Of course it's better than new moon, but that's about it. For an anniversary, it misses the mark.

 

First time playing this event and it took awhile to figure some things out. As stated previously by others, auto-pickup would be very helpful. The cost of the piñata truncheons is very high in my opinion. their drop rate is anemic. Arena is a nice place to build up egg openers as well as crystals of truth. 160 eggs opened and 10 arena chip drops.....better than some others I guess. While in the arena, I have opened 2 reward chests that have resulted in a drop the states "golden meanie" when you hold mouse cursor over it. Nothing has shown up in my inventory and there is no pet slot in the Collectors Bag. Any insight into this drop would be greatly appreciated. Next time it happens I'll try to remember to screen shot it. Overall I like the event, maybe because it's new to me. Lastly, the arena on painful mode was quite overwhelming for the difficulty level I thought. Last 4 challenges were horrid (I must be much worse than I thought as to build strength).

 

Not very impressive for an anniversary event. Pinata contents do not feel very random at all, 10 gnob pinatas in a row give dyes. He has 50 other items that he could possible drop, but it's dyes every time?


edit - Event guide says it should be RANDOM, but why is it heavily weighted towards the CRAPPIEST, LOWEST COST item the vendor offers?

 

Random doesn't mean unweighed.
