    I have no keys.
Where can i find a map to enter with no keys with leaders and bosses (mini bosses?). How do i recognize mini bosses?
Painfull is difficult enough, why do "normal" mobs don't drop bagdes like in previous hunting events?
This is finally an event with interesting rewards is this the reason they make it so hard?

Go to FBI painful and clear the entire map. A mighty opponent will appear around the middle of the map and should drop a key.

Great event with great rewards. Finally something that is worth to grind for. This is what you can call an event and not those event wannabes that require 24/7 farm for some hp pots or amphora keys in the progress bar.Grats for this event and hopefully we will get more like this in the future.

Indeed, it was a pretty nice event with great rewards...i was surprised how easy it was...my team and me finished it in around 4h at Gorga fatal, we had farmed keys before ofc so we did straight bossruns with no key farming.
However...please more of this kinda events! :)

For me the best event beside the PvP "Dance Of Blades" event which came up in March 2013 with 10k Euro rewards.
    Well done BP !

Oh dear... Before reading this I was very proud of my 1500 bagdes :p
Still, I like the event and feel an addiction to the FBI coming on :D

I have a different opinion about this event.
I am not strong enough to do painfull so i have a feeling there is a barrier for players who are not that strong.
I mean look at all the showcases in this forum, it's all about showing how strong u are, but not everybody is strong.
I think an event should be for everyone, but it's kind of discriminating that u only can enter the dungeons in painfull or higher.
And really, i was looking forward to this event.
This way strong players are only getting stronger (clovers and draken) and the not so strong players don't have a chance to do this event.
    So yeah, i am dissapointed!:(

Can you sit in the middle of great desert painful and kill khepre every 4 or 5 minutes as he respawns? If you can do that, you can build up your counter and get some progress.

That way you can try to get the chest with the unique tier 2 gear (alliance set) and see if that improves your performance.

I am with you weetikveelofso and I am glad you spoke up! There is a population in the game where they can't handle painful, let alone fighting the boss. They are struggling to even kill a normal level boss. The DSO spent weeks to design this event just for the strong players or those who has strong guildies or friends but totally ignored those who cannot yet do painful because they didn't have the gears. All that work and as they have boasted the strong have finished it in just 4 hours or so - what a joke?! Can't you (DSO team) see the difference in the scaling of player's strengths when you design events?

This event could have been more fair if you allow the option for players to kill champions, leaders and bosses at normal levels too. In doing so getting less badges is fine but at least you allow everyone at every level to join in and have fun too - why the restrictions?

I would also like to suggest that you remove the restiction of using keys to enter painful boss room - just for painful mode will do because it's too time consuming to collect those keys. At least this gives people more time to enjoy the painful level boss freely and for those who wants to do higher mode they would have to work for it.

I was like you too weetikveelofso looking forward to this event, but it turns out to be a disappointment for my char because I can't kill the world boss in painful mode. Just killing a leader takes ages and lots of hp pots - it's impossible for me to event progress to get the first prize at the rate I could do.

If the DSO team could do what I suggested in the second paragraph, at least you give a chance for everyone to play and not just the stronger players in the game. If you keep designing events like this, it's a matter of time the initial or weaker players quit.

It is, but if you've been here so little time that you can't even run painful why should you get the same rewards as people that have busted hours and hours building their characters?

How do you think we all started?, when I joined the game I had to skip a few of them simply because they were impossible for me, Defeat the undefeatables, Desert of Essences, Moon events and so on..., what did I do?, quit?, hell no, I set a goal and busted me self to eventually reach it, be it via investing time, effort (or money if you want to make it faster), and you can do it too.

What do you think I did when I investigated the Wiki and saw the available events and sets in the game?, set goals, find similar teammates, and oh how much of a laughable bunch we were fighting Dragan with our wimpy toons, and, even though we ocasionally did get lucky and got help from a strong player or two, we did 90% of the farming, grinding, etc, by ourselves, that's why that bunch of pathetic newbies that struggled in that Dragan event 2+ years ago now can farm these type of events more comfortably nowadays, now tell me exactly why should you skip that part of developing your character?, specially now that we've seen new toons grow incredibly fast thanks to the L55 expansion, the item reworks and crafting 2.0?

The event is fine, I can assure you that, even after all the dreadful forecasts we had upon seeing the progress bar, if you're still developing, too bad, instead of mourning over what you will not be able to do, move on, observe the mechanics, and use your time to develop your toon so that you're ready for the next iteration.

EhtovK, firstly, I don't know why are you putting our voice down (speaking for those who are not strong yet) when I am not talking to you but giving feedback to the DSO team?

Secondly, our point to the DSO team is to make event that's inclusive for all range of players, instead of being exclusive - is that a bad suggestion?

It seems like you have a problem with the second point and you cannot stand having events that's inclusive, simply because you have sufferred alot and spent countless hours making your character strong and you expect everyone to follow your path because they don't deserve it. The fact is not everyone has the time you have to spend on a game, hence they cannot afford to be as determined as you because they have a life, work and family to take care of.

This game is a reward for players after a hard working day and these players don't mind paying as long as they are having fun. If they can't participate or be given the option to get some progress on the event simply because they didn't have the gears or have countless hours to grind to get the gears - then that's just simply exclusion.

Yes you were saying that the game is for everyone, and it is technically open up for everyone but if you can't handle a painful leader or boss - then it's not for everyone - that's limitation!

Besides, if the DSO team only has a focus on the stronger players in the game - I really don't see the point? Simply because they are invincible already, anymore rewards would just make them more invincible. You (DSO team) have just spend weeks designing an event just to entertain them for 4 or so hours - wow what an achievement! To me that's no difference to just giving them those rewards for free. If that's your goal and the business model you set, you might as well highlight your exclusiveness so those who are weak just don't be bothered with it. I assumed you have made it for all players and those who are excluded therefore have the right to speak up for themselves so they could join in and get some progress, if not all.

EhtovK, and all who are reading this: I am only speaking on behalf of those who are not strong yet and only kindly ask the DSO team to leave the option open for the weaker players instead of been excluded - there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Welcome to the internet, people might disagree with you from time to time, and this is an open forum, if you don't want anyone else to oppose your point of view, I believe you can send your feedback directly to support as well.

Then go play Candy Crush, this is a MMORPG.

    Tell you what:

Do you see that progress bar?, now, do you see ALL the rewards clumped at the very end so that only "strong players" can get them?, no, I see rewards available for a wide lens of completion levels, there is your "inclusion", and it's the same for all events, you do what everyone else did when they were newbies, you take what you can with or without help and (Imma say it again since you didn't seem to read it the first time) keep improving your toon to be ready for next iterations, it's not rocket science, it's natural progression in (almost) all MMORPGs.

Exactly, that's a limitation, and it's good, because it's what gives everyone the drive to keep pushing and improving, if every newbie was able to complete every event fast and easy wearing green items this game would be dead.

Because he has been playing a really long time and knows what he is talking about.
Do you realize that this event is pretty much in direct response to MONTHS, if not YEARS of feedback from strong players who continually say "We want a difficult event that has rewards that are actually worth grinding for"?

No, not every event should be like this because it would exclude developing players. That said, 4-5 months is more than enough to get to the point where your character should be able to handle something of this difficulty. So, as long as BP doesn't do more than one or two of these a years, by the time the next one rolls around, you'll be able to handle it, providing that you work hard and improve at a reasonable pace.
It seems that you lack the history to understand why an event like this is important to the community and players who have been playing this event for 5+ years. See the above. We, the players who have made this game what it is today by our continued support over multiple years, asked for this sort of thing. The fact that we finally got it and it was not watered down to appease the new players with a sense of entitlement, is a GOOD THING! Giving these sorts of rewards for anything less than the effort currently required would be a slap to the face of players who have been playing 20-30 times as long as you have. A LVL 45 player who is still leveling up and doesn't even have a single polished gem should not be able to earn a radiant and five flawless gems as a participation prize. Eleven Guilde Clovers represents several weeks of daily quests at 50+. A 40% HP on this Item Rune is worth 54000 Draken... more than any other reward ever given out in an event, and put simply, a player with three weeks under their belt doesn't deserve it simply by virtue of their existence.

Every other event in DSO has Normal-Infernal II difficulties. That is the very definition of "inclusive," and I have zero issue with it because the rewards reflect the effort. Newer players have to work longer and harder to get the rewards, but they can get them all while meanwhile older players are rewarded by completing the event in less time.

Welcome to the real world where not everything is handed out on a silver platter and if you want something, you have to work for it. If you can't do it this time, get stronger and you'll be able to do it next time. I've played a great many games, and unless I started playing at launch, I go into it expecting that I won't be able to do everything and that I'll have to work twice as hard to catch up. You are over 5 years late to the party... expect hard work before everything is "easy".

P.S. I can't wait to see your thoughts on the Golden Christmas Present in another month... I'll be looking for it.

Now, my feedback on the event:
Excellent event! It is nice to finally have a grind that is actually worth it. In the past, we would grind for two weeks for a bit of Draken, a couple small runes, some Draken cores and a couple of mediocre uniques. While I know not all events can be like this because of people who don't understand the value of a challenge, it would be nice to see these sorts of progress bars a couple times a year.

As always, the progress bar is not quite linear, and while I understand it, it is more than a little imbalanced. Over 70% of the rewards are in the first 40% of the progress. That makes the back half of the grind rather dull.

Finally, before bringing this event back, it would be nice if the bosses had some more uniques than the Alliance set. I know the upcoming releases are supposed to be reworking old uniques, so I'm hopeful that will help this problem.

EhtovK and Baragain, am I opposing the event?

Am I opposing the idea that it is not good to make this event just for the high end players?

My answer is no for both questions. Is it wrong that I ask the DSO team to open up for an extra option on normal mode so others who are struggling could be involved? Or do you both find this unacceptable?

I rest my case. There is no need to bombard me with lectures when I simply wanted to make the point to allow normal mode players to make progress in the event. Anything else you have founded offensive, which was not my intention, I will take it back.

    Hi ,

event its enjoyable. I spent few runs in those lost forgotten maps.

    BUT I encurred a bug :

    1. I was at +1000% buff ( 100 counting ) after few hours of gameplay.
    2. I was in group and I was entering gorga.
    3. I get a few second load enter page and I found myself unmounted and naked ( without costumes ) but worstly with a ZERO BONUS COUNTING

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    @ all :

I'll wait the last 2 ending days so I'll be able to end event easly ( maybe with a +500% base progress bonus ).
Have a sunny nice week end to all !
    Enjoy

When i look around now in some areas i allready see some white gorilla's one day aftert the event has started.
This means this event is no challenge for the "old" (meaning long playing) players, as can be read on this forum.
So next event is only for fatal or higher just to satisfy the older players needs? And if that is not enough why not infernal?:D

you take only a portion of what I wrote.

I'll wait the last 2 ending days so I'll be able to end event easly ( maybe with a +500% base progress bonus ).

WITH MY PERSONAL OPIONION : event will be easy for all players in the server.
12 days remaining to finish the event. 12 DAYS!!! 2 weeks!
It is not a 100mt runs. Take it easy and enjoy the fun.

Check the progress bonuses shown in the FB pages. Bp has very well planned the progress of the event and the reward bonuses for next days. They learned from the previous events.
Bp is giving us all a enjoiable event not only for those OP PLAYERS.
Sure OP players will have a white gorilla after 2 hours, we all will be able to have it in the next few days.
Keep up with the work guys!

Thumb up! ( and fix bugs )

You aren't the only one. I had a friend who lost a 600%+ buff last night. Same thing happened, no pet, no mount, no costume, and worst of all, no buff.
