Hi. The guy who locked this thread made me look like a dumb person who is unable of at least a bit of objectivity in his thinking. I'm shocked how briskly the thread got locked without letting me reply. Heh. So here we go:

"Well, as you've said, proving someone is cheating is really difficult and support will not ban someone without unequivocal evidence. Situational evidence or supposition is not enough to get someone banned. Support has to be completely impartial. For that same reason, you have no reason to fear getting banned for accusing someone of breaking the rules.

The best you can do if you do if you really suspect cheating is document it as best as you can and ignore other people's opinions. The guidelines for reporting that you deem "pointlessly detailed" is the only way support is going to have a chance of proving an instance of cheating and making it stick. I'm sure that if you were accused of something by somebody that you would expect support to exercise the same diligence on your behalf.

Regarding Bot videos having 50% ratings, who do you suppose are leaving those "thumb downs"? Could it be that bots users like to watch bot videos and thumb down because they don't like people reporting their cheating?

If you have suspicions of a person cheating, you should indeed contact support, but don't expect support to inform you the results of their investigation, either with a bot or a dual logger.

All I wanted to achieve was that the support investigates the case. Banning the player would be the next step, or wouldn't, depending on the result of investigation.
The material I sent to them showed clearly that the person was a dual logger. They have decided to simply ignore it instead.

When I asked the support what sort of proof would be sufficient, they were unable to answer.
In this case it's up to the admins to get the proof. I cannot prove in principle a person is a dual logger unless I take a photo of him personally in his own room. My "job" can be to provide hints that something is not alright.

As for the botter videos, oh of course 50% of the thumb downers are bot users. Well then if that is the case, DSO is filled to the brim with botters.

why did you lock the original thread? My mind that si probably too simple cannot fathom that. You don't want to hear possible explanations.

  2. So your immediate reaction is to reopen a thread that a moderator closed?
I direct you to the forum guidelines:
I closed the thread in question because you will get no help on the forums and this isn't something that requires discussion with the community. Opening this thread and thinking that this would be the catalyst that gets support to investigate is flawed logic.

And how would you know that?
The team takes all allegations seriously and investigates, and as I said before, they will not keep you informed on the progress of their investigation or their findings.

Finally, if you have an issue with one of the support teams and think that they are being negligent, contact another language's support team to pursue the issue there or ask that the next tier of support contact the first team. Again, the forums are neither an appropriate or effective means of addressing this sort of issue.
