This weapon adornment is quite useless.
If we are to get the advantage of the buff, then either this has to be used in PvP or while clearing up normal maps.
This weapon adornment is useless against bosses, and useless in PvP matches where you cannot kill a whole bunch of people and that would only be if you are really OP and your opponents are very weak. Which could be a rare occurrence.
The hard part is to kill a boss, not the normal creatures, so why would anyone want to equip themselves with gear that only give an advantage killing hordes of weaker monsters?

No thanks. This Weapon adornment is in the bottom of my list.

Oh, and the rune, is a complete joke. Who would want to replace an 8% attack speed rune with a 2% crit damage rune? (That only works rarely and mostly in useless situations anyway).

When they introduce things like this, I wonder what kind of class balancing they are going to come up with. I dare not to even dream.

That is my biggest issue with the decoration. If you don't use it with the runes, it is just "OK," but can't compare to Spider or Sigris adornments (depending on class). With the runes, it is cool, but at the expense of a ton of speed. I can't support that.

The secret to this andorment is to make 2 sets. 1 for farming maps+boss and 1 for pvp/tp boss. For me that andorment is perfect and combining it with belt of zeal will be the ultimate farming set :D exchange 5% dmg from magolita andorment for 20% critical dmg when buffed ? HA ! :D exchange 22% max dmg bonus for 20% overall dmg when buffed ? HA! :D so belt of zeal + andorment for farming maps + boss, magolita andorment + karabossa belt ( full set ) for pvp/ tp boss. Of course you have to craft new andorment/belt but as i told my friends from the beginning when i got back its better to have f.e 2 andorments 119 than 1 122 :D, or to make 2 belts 38/39% dmg than waste months for 39.75 one ( <-- this rule doesnt apply to weapons :D when it comes to weapons you have to make a perfect one :D ). So yes if you think about this andorment only in one way ( for pve and pvp ) its crap but if you separate pve from pvp/tp boss this andorment will be better than magolita and gives you a lot of possibilities :D And about the runes if they destroy your speed just dont use them :D youll have 20% crit dmg 10% crti rate instead of idk 24% crit dmg 11% crit rate ( depends what runes you will be able to assamble during the event :D ) Just my thoughts. Everything ive concluded above is for DK :D

If You have money to create two adornments, then I believe, killing normal creatures in maps is not a problem to You anyway. So, this nullifies Your first argument. It is still useless as only a very strong player would have money, resources and desire to create a second adornment, and they wouldn't need this to clear maps.

nope and theres the diffrence between what you think strong player will do and what he does :D if your already at a point that you cant do anything but playing on jesters for runes to improve your char you search for ways to improve anything because without this the game has no sense and youll stop playing because how long can you farm gold and play on jesters ? ive already been in this situation and it have cost me 1 year off . That andorment has no sense for you maybe because you have a lot of things to improve but for me right now its something that can improve farming further even if its not a big diffrence. I already have andorment for it 121.5% and for many other things to come because ive made backups to all my items everything with 4x gold including even an extra weapon 302 which im trying to make 305 or smth like that just because i have nothing to do.

You are making wrong assumptions as everyone is using your build and the same items/runes/gems.
In example I am having no attack speed runes in my arrows ... yet again I am over 2.40 attack speed. I would lose no attack speed at all.
That doesn't mean I am saying this adornment and the runes are "must use" ... just saying they are looking different and worth keeping them for some future build.
These items would suit tanks (not 2H DK) with high damage ... they can have over 15K damage high crit and high crit damage.
Also you can keep the buff for the boss fight ... by the time you get to the boss you would get the full buff 10 times.
You can also use it for a fast boss farming at lower difficulties with portals. You only need to max the buff out ... and from that point on you can farm the bosses in seconds. Each boss kill will extend the buff ... so you would never lose it unless you stop.

Anyway ... these are the numbers you can get with the adornment/runes
Adornment with one rune of the Vanquisher in it:
Adornment with one Mighty Rune of the Vanquisher in it:
Adornment with one Supreme Rune of the Vanquisher in it:

The maximum possible buff you can get from the adornment and the runes is 50% critical damage and 17.5% critical hit rate.

And i forgot one main thing to use this andorment you would have to drop it with a gold line :DDDD if not theres nothing to talk about :D

and it has to be on infernal III ... so it would be T6

Of course, I wouldn't get rid of it. Like those block strength 2H runes, I will still keep it in my inventory, if ever BP decided to make them useful, I may consider using them. Not now though.

Also,Your assumption is incorrect about DK tanks. They prefer attack speed over Crit. More attack speed gives them the ability to reduce all skill cool down times faster, build more rage and so they can use all skills more often.

nah i wont be mad if its t5 augmented cores drop from cubes so eventually ill get it to t6 the problem is that it drops from gold chests ( at least at wiki page :DDDDD ) and i really would prefer more drakens for hp runes :D than to waste a lot of keys for this andorment the plan i wrote is an idea but i wont chase after it for all costs i have priorities :D and as you all said i can go without the androment :D

T5 could be reasonable if you have the cores. I know plenty of people who did that with Dragan gear.

I'm sorry, but you're only half right. You need both since skills only cool down faster when you crit. A tank needs both crit and speed for those super fast cool downs.

Exactly ... that is why it leads to crit and crit damage only ... because high attack speed with 1H weapons is easy to reach even without using attack speed runes in adornment.

Exactly, a Tanking DK do need both higher crit rate (not damage) as well as attack speed. And that is what exactly using Tenebrous Spider Adornment with Cloak provides together with attack speed runes.

No Tank DK in their right mind will switch that to this trash rune and Adornment.

You can do it 'just fine', Sigi makes it way faster and easier. With Sigi you just slice through all the mobs always having LS or IS to finish. But I don't care about mages anymore. There are just two types of mages left in the game, those who know they suck, and those who didn't figure it yet. That adornment is not gonna change anything.

  16. Good to have YOUR opinion. There are plenty of GREAT mages on the servers...that CAN play without sig. Im sorry you feel you have to have his items in order to fight efficiently.☺

    Okay newbie, gl)
There is not a single great mage across all the servers if you compare them to other classes. I used to be one of those mythical great mages with top stats.

I don't know if I will utilize the new weapon adornment/rune combo or not. I would have to experiment with it a bit first. That being said, as a 1H balanced DK build, I like and respect people who are willing to play with characters built "outside the box". Not all of my gear is from the optimal DK blueprint. I have a plan, I have the time, and I'm having fun! I could go for the "cookie cutter" design but have chosen a different path. Trakilaki has proved it with his 1H longbow RA build and if others like GhoulishNightmares are on a similar path with SWs, I'll applaud their efforts. Have a plan and have fun! This is not intended in any way to be a knock on anyone or their builds.

  19. I think part of the fun of this game is learning to put different items together and improving one's self, along with crafting optimal stats on them. I think a good player is always evolving...not particularly sticking to/relying on a particular item. Their ability to adapt and make better items is what makes them great...along with fighting skills :p Everyone is entitled to their opinion but it doesn't make it necessarily true. Any class can take out the other in PVP if they are well developed enough. Together though I think all the classes benefit each other, especially in groups.
