    I dont know if anyone has notice and i dont want to enter in this argument about SM so i just gonna ask to trakilaki o baragain

    Is just me or the Q7 is like getting a little to excesive op with the groups buffs? i mean look...

    Mage gets a 4 second buffs that grants inmortality with meteor...
    Ranger gets a buffs of 60% dmg with explosive shot....
    SM gets a 6 seconds.... SIX SECONDS of no cds for his rocket
    and DK gets a buff dmg with smash....

    Again just me are seeing this??? someone can confirm this for me pls... ( sorry if my english sucks working on it :D)

    then i dont get your frustration.. . For any other calss to enter inf 1 you need crit which if you dont have a ton of stones and good crafts wont happen. But for dwarfs now however its pretty much i can go fatal eh? so then i can go inf 1 only + 1k dmg needed and ding dong the requirements for dwarfs were like near noneexistent i mean why, now you will enjoy the game to the fullest adn thats a problem? Yes it will mean the dwarf players will need to do more work to be at the same spot. In other games classes that build raw damage just fall off lategame with dwarf that was not the case and since they dont fall why not give them crit so that they can play even better i dont see anyhting bad here?? so are you arguing so much for a positive change

    Can anybody tell me if the speed bonus ( runes stones gloves etc etc ) doesnt work for SM turrents what is their ( turrents ) base attack speed now ?

    this is just false, do you think dwarfs don't need to craft their gear to success in higher mods? Do you think a dwarf with 5k dmg can success in ANYTHING just because it's a dwarf?

    o you think I hadn't to craft all my gear just because dwarfs could ignore crits?
    I don't have crafted rings, adornament or ammy because I'm a dwarf?
    On the other side, would have been a random dropped helm with crit and dmg been usefull for me as dwarf?

    NO, dwarfs were DISADVANTAGED not beeing able to use crits, this doesn't mean there aren't better solution to let em be able TO CHOSE to use crits.
    With dwarfs it was exactly the same because the only fatc that was increasing with the increased tier was the base dmg of the weapon while, for the other classes, the lower was the mod the higher was getting the dmg (do you realise why I had 2 crit helm and I have a forth helm like this?)

    Do you undersand why in PvP dwarfs were non-existant? Nonetheless they had to "force the hand".

    It's pretty clear you don't handle the language otherwise you would know they become OBSOLETE because they just gave you BETTER gear and you looked for BETTER GEAR (it's called "power creep", just to teach you something).
    With this changement they are making my current gear USELESS because they are changing the skills they were meant to be used for so they are specifically diminishing their effectiveness and, btw, @ that time, ALL the classes were on the same boat and everyone had to look for better gear, infact I also said this
    In this case the only class that will lose gear is SM.

    You don't care because you've never played @ decent level any of them and you can't get how real games are designed

    You'll understand why I'm speaking when it will happen to you.

    Turrets were never affected by attack speed, only MG turrets used ASP as a direct multiplier.
    Now not even the last part works but turrets have HP, will regen 30 steam when dismantled and GENERATE AGRO (so mobs are aiming at them and will FIRTS try to destry em instead of attacking the dwarf which is another SUPERCLEVER thing)
    I can't say how retarded is the idea that turrets generate agro because on TS my toon can't access inf maps but I'm pretty sure turrets won't have enough dmg to survive asingle hit from any mob.
    I also have to test it more deeply but seems they generate 0 steam if DESTROYED so you should redeploy them before any mobs destroyes em but you have no indication on their life so... mission impossibile.
    If anything of this patch comes live, 90% of SM population will simply quit.

    Which balancing update didn't affect pvp? They all affect it. However, once again they didn't design this update to fix pvp, so continuing to beg for DK's to be nerfed in pvp isn't going to change this update. The same way it hasn't changed any of the past updates.

    So for once, instead of focusing all your time and effort into getting DK's nerfed so that you can win a pvp match, how about spending just a little time talking about what this update is doing to all characters?

    Trust me, everyone on the forum knows you want DK's nerfed, this is not a secret and it hasn't been for quite a while now.

    Due to them being able to ignore crit, it was much easier to them to rebuild after each level expansion, while all of the other classes had to rebuild crit
    that was my point
    None ever said that they didn't need to craft, that was your strawman

    All other classes are forced to use crit, why should dwarves not be forced? Other classes do not have the option to choose whether to use crit or not, why should dwarves be special snoflakes?
    Dwarves will get more powerful, it's good for all

    Why should i care about Lol?Lol is a MOBA, this game is not a MOBA

    But gear becoming obsolete and useless is something that will happen, you have to take that into account
    I understand that, it happened already and will continue to happen, it's a part of the life of a game

    man, I assumed you are intelligent person. so first you say it has nothing to do with pvp. then you say all updates affect it. get your facts straight.

    then you simply say I should shut up about anything DK related so you can enjoy your immortalness.

    again. they made a change and asked for feedback. I provided it for the feedback purposes. I do believe that change is bad idea and, if introduced, will result in even more mess and more threads being created once people realize it. but apparently I should just shut up. because you have nothing to say on the subject besides hey sebastian shut up, everyone knows what you meant to say.

    why you don't spend a minute discussing the changes instead of attacking those who do provide valid feedback about the changes that are about to be introduced? you wasted multiple comments, all off topic, attacking me and defending another monkey, which similarly has nothing else to say besides barking right away when saw a hint of a feedback against their class without actually reading/analyzing it.

    yeah, keep the tanks immortal, and everyone against it, get lost. have you spend a second thinking about actual change I mentioned and its impact on 1v1 between DK and Mage? guess not.

    and for once, I did not touch anything besides one 5 point talent on 1 skill. it's not much time or effort. its you, and your fella, who keep picking it up again and again with zero reasonable facts.

    I do not have experience playing dwarf or ranger, so I discuss those who I have experience with. I will separately comment on all the 'beautiful' and 'invaluable' changes and group talents for mage.

    so if you really want to discuss changes, start doing that and stop shutting up other people.

    As a mage the increased damage of the Frozen Sphere is good but still not very useful, at least not against bosses. You need to increase the range of FS (make it like explosive arrow) to be really effective.

    You have clearly misread my post and did not understand the importance of what I am suggesting there. Nevertheless the post wasn't meant for someone that has q7 and q8 set and an OP endgame build. What are u suggesting there is that because your build involves the mechanical turrets and not the Machine guns, then who cares what the machine guns do now right? WRONG! Maybe i, as someone who has now the blood rune gun want to continue using the machine gun turrets with quick shot and occasional heavy shot after this update too. Now u will find that this is what most of the SMS will actually do for some time before building some more crit. In that case I hope u are intelligent enough to see how keeping the machine guns positioning as it is, will be vital for their efficient use. Also health refers to all turrets, as your blue turrets, like you call them, will be useless if destroyed in the first 2 seconds after deployment, making your q8 set even more useless. Please learn to see the tactical play along with the dps output before talking about things getting buffed or nerfed, as seeing a dmg increase in numbers aong with tactical changes, doesn't mean it is going to go up when u are using your new tactic against enemies.

    For everyone:
    Although I don't write in forums much, I play this game from 2009, and I read these game forums a lot, even when I take half year breaks from the game. Playing for this long I had a chance to play every class with SM being my most recent class. I was never OP in this game and was always catching up on what's trending and still am, and I guess this is part of why I always liked when they increased the level cap or added something new to the game. With this update I expect some more diversity in this far too generic game. I have noticed there is a one hand weapons section in the wisdom tree. A useful one hand SM build is something I wanted to get in this game for very long, and this is not something achievable at the moment, however with this new wisdom tree there is an opportunity to bring the 1h build close to the 2h build so that players can choose what they want to play. This could be done by increasing the dmg of wisdom points for 1h, or keeping it as it is and decreasing the steam costs for turret skills when u use 1h weapons, and making the bomb deal five times more dmg with 1h, or adding a 1h set that buffs the bomb skill. Other ways around these are fine too as long as the main goal of creating an efficient 1h SM build is achieved. The high attack speed on the 1h don't make these rivals to the 2h weapons due to the high essence cost, so this should be balanced too.

    And once again it's a shame that a basic feature like "copy your liveserver account" on testserver is missing to actually test things properly. With a low-geared lvl 51 ranger like i currently have you can only test from a total beginner's view. The impact of those new talents on highend char will remain to be estimated...

    This is a feedback that's based on first impressions for the new changes on exp skill tree, nothing thouroughly tested yet and only taking into account the ranger class;
    • My heart's bleeding when i look at the new blade dance talent for 5 pts. Eversince this has been introduced all my pve builds based on that talent. The new talent seems rather irrelevant for pve and I hardly doubt anyone would invest 5 pts to get a weak bleed effect in pve. That's just one thing though, the other aspect of that change is the fact that rangers will be the only class that won't have a possibility to reduce cooldowns on their exp skill tree. As most ppl have noticed over the years, there is almost nothing as powerful as quick cooldown reductions. It's hard to assess yet but this might leave a ranger behind once every class but rangers have cd reductions from exp tree and wisdom tree.
    • The new 5pts talent of dive falls in the same category like the 5pt dance talent I mentioned above - a rather useless effect that no one is going to spend points for. I understand the need to remove existing cooldowns from skills and it's a good change (however, changing your formula how cooldowns are added together would still render better results). But that talent's effect is something that can be achieved much easier and cheaper by already existing skills like net and traps and thus will turn that talent to a "introduced and never used" wonder. For both talents i have criticized I dont have an adequat counterproposal yet, I might add them later when I looked deeper into new talents and combinations with wisdom, but one of these could be used for some sort of cd reduction for current cooldowns.
    • I like and appreciate the changes on death sweep(talent2) and scatter shot (talent5), they finally make those skills relevant in pve again
    • I dont like the dot effects that were added on basic skills like hunting arrow (and quick shot SM for example) as they lead to a "hit and run away" gameplay in pvp, changes that reward for not enganging a fight should always be prevented.
    I might add impressions on wisdom talents and possible combinations later when i find the time to actually test things.
    In general it's a good move to disable wisdom completely in pvp, im sure this will restore a bit of balance as it eliminates extremes, kinda back to the roots style pre155 were pvp was actually well balanced.

    Wow i,m so happy now i dont need to get out from town to spend my red essence.What beautiful brain whas thinking about that , that was the worst thread from creative corner and they decide to implement that to show us that they care about our opinion.
    Now we should expect many beautiful dress costumes and some butterfly wings in a game that die day by day.o_O

    I have always wondered how someone play the game before it's release in your case almost 3 years before it's open beta release date.:rolleyes:
    I was also hoping to get a 1-hand set up more useful for SW but it doesn't seems to be possible since the fireball is nerfed.
    Removing wisdom in PvP is a step in the right direction. Like ULTRAPEINLICH said; Would be handy to have your own account copied to the test server.

    And your "point" is clueless because in the moment dwarfs NEED to craft every piece of his gear just as ANY class it means he is ON PAIR with any other class; the only difference was while other classes were looking for crit & crit dmg, dwarfs were looking for DMG, ASPD & HP because of their own specific combat style.

    If you weren't so blinded or shortsighted, you would have asked yourself why EVERY class isn't allowed to make critless build, but obviusly, since you've never seen other games and you lack in experience, you think it's "normal" to force everyone to use exactly the same crafts on every single piece of equipment destroying build diversification.
    I'm amused on how someone can lack so much in imagination and creativity.
    D2, D3, PoE, WoW are Mobas? As I already told, you ignore too many things. I suppose you've never seen minion based builds outside this game, isn't it? Nor you know that those games already had their "raw dmg" builds right?

    Again, obsolescence doesn't make your equipment LESS effective, it just gives you better options. With this patch dwarfs (and other classes looking @ what Wigger wrote) aren't getting better equipment, they are getting straight forward frauded.

    Let's start again with the misleading informations???

    It is SOOOOOO OP that it has 90 MIN (!!!!!!!!!!!!) cooldown (probably a typo since all other the talents have 60" cooldown) and it just resets the cooldowns ONCE. The worst buff out of the batch.

    My ... this war because of SM being nerf in solo are making everyone so less time of thinking and more in just type anything to release some anger..... fine either way the important point of that buff is the fact that( combining with Q7) lyou could have a two times full buffs of the set something that in my way of seeing is worth to talk maybe because a class like ranger o DK having instead of 2 o 3 seconds of buff dmg a double i dont know man thats seems legit for me call me crazy .....

    and thats leaving(for some reasons you dont seems to consider all my coment in your "answer") the other buff of ranger and dk that gives in total believe 120% dmg for 3 seconds .... like a say before i dont like the idea of looking for fights with SM player i really believe they are killing his solo potencial but that is one thing and this is other this ability has potencial with a good group to the point that could kill bosses even more fast than before ( Again sorry is some part are way difficult to understand i really trying my best to answer in english here :C)

    Do not worry I know how to position my towers well, game of q8 long ago and not bloodrune that requires no skill, I still remember when I started using q8 was a nightmare, position towers, tune between them to ensure the buff and when using the heavy shot always be positioned not to take damage of certain bosses, while bloodrune basically just had to use red turrets and running or attacking when i can, yes I played bloodrune until the development letter that spoke of the critics' arrivals to the dwarf last year.
    You were just a player who ignored everything because he was accommodated with an easy build to do, while a lot of dwarves have been prepared since that day for the coming of the critic, let's agree dwarf full damage is much easier to do and evolve, you do not have to craft amulet because it uses q2, it does not have to work hard to have the gnob ring that has 10% of critical damage craft and t6, because it can play with a death ring, and can choose to craft or not soon the dragan ring with life because it will not influence your damage, it's 3 less items to craft. His mistake was to accommodate himself with an easy build to make while the other critical classes and critical dwarves worked hard. I have many friends and acquaintances who do not have critical build but have been preparing over the months leaving the items to craft semi-ready. Your complaint has no basis because it was something that was previously reported, if they had not said anything I would be here with you complaining.

    Don't say the sky is falling, without understand the skill.
    This skill is supposed to be used once per map. It resets with every map change.
    After using it once in a boss kill, You can use it again in the next map.
    90 Min cool down is just to prevent abuse.

    I don't see the point of (machine gun) turrets spawning where the mouse is, it just makes harder to place them on the monsters, if you want to have them close to you there is a big change to miss the enemy because of low accuracy.
