    Yes could do at higher lvl but extra time taken would most likely outway any small increase in drop and then there is the extra enter cost as well.

    Done 5 runs now and each gave 75 so for once seems to be a constant amount.

    Not noticed the statues will look out for them and try a group.

    Did you try the event before making this claim? The drop rate in this mini is consistent. That is to say, every run gives you the same amount of progress every time. The only exception is if you are using amphora keys, or if you get a cursed amphora in a run. The first costs you a precious resource, and the second is rare and can't be counted on to make a significant impact overall.

    Based on your experience?o_O This is why you never trust human perception over math. Math is pure, human perception is inherently flawed.

    Now, here is the pure math for you.

    The entry price increases at about the same rate at the drop rate the drops increase (actually it is a little in favor of improved drops, but only by a little). If this was the only consideration, you would be correct that, time ignored, the progress per pearl would be about the same.

    What you are not accounting for is the statues. It is 50 pearls to open a Normal statue and it is 50 pearls to open an Infernal III statue. Sure, no sane person is going to waste infernal passages on this mini, but the point is still valid for Infernal II all the way down to normal.

    Infernal I is 260 pearls to enter and Infernal II is 265 pearls to enter. With the statues, they drop 215 and 223 progress respectively. The next thing to consider is if you are soloing, doing this in a small group, or a full team of five because that changes how much you spend on pearls on average (assuming you each take turns in a fair and consistent manner).

    Just for kicks and giggles, Normal is 75 from killing the 5 mini bosses in the map and the chest. The statues are each 12 progress. That makes for 99 progress from one run with a 150 pearl entry fee.

    5, 170, 280 and 285(170/99)*100=172(280/215)*100=130(285/223)*100=128
    This shows two things.
    First, and most obviously, it is much better to do this in a group instead of solo. I'd recommend at least three.
    Second, Infernal II is more pearl efficient than Infernal I, and even soloing in Infernal I has better pearl efficiency than running the event in normal with a full group.

    One final note; If I did the math for you, the difference between Normal and Painful is significant, the difference between Painful and Excruciating is significant, and the difference between Excruciating and Fatal is significant. The differences between Fatal/Infernal I/Infernal II is not that significant, but still exists. These gaps are why I recommend running the event on at least Fatal, and select Infernal I or II if your team can do so with greens/blues and no significant amount of extra time clearing the map.

    Now, for feedback:
    These rates are all garbage! Just in pearls alone, the cost is immense. Running Infernal II in a full team is about 10600 pearls. Running in normal with a full group is about 14300. If a player can farm 1000 pearls in an hour (which is doable, but on the fast side), This represents 10-14 or more hours of prefarming in the castle. Then, there is the size of the map. It is huge and takes a long time to clear. By an earlier estimate, it takes about 18-20 hours (out or 84 hours) of just running the mini event map to finish (on Infernal I), making it one of the single longest grinds I've seen in an event in ages!

    The only saving grace for me is that there is nothing worth the effort past the HP regen rune at 6200 progress. I have the achievement from the first time the achievement was offered, and I don't need Phoenix Fire since both my pets are crafted. Sure, I miss out on 190 Draken, but 190 Draken are not worth 5 hours of farming and 2700 pearls. I have much better things I can do with those pearls and that time.

    To BP: Let me spell it out for you. Some grinding is OK. This is a Hack and Slash after all, and grind comes with the territory. But what your players don't appreciate is a huge grind in a highly restricted time window with lackluster rewards and no proper motivation. Mini events 1 and 3 were OK, 2 and 4 were complete garbage. Learn the meaning of "Balance" and apply it.

    I thought you've opened the statues and that's why I said the amount should have been higher.
    I would hardly suggest to go in a mod higher than fatal, all my guildies that did inf 1/2 stepped back to fatal because it is way easier to split in the map and the fire auras from knights and fire spirits were quite Dangerous (eventually you can try to find a party to do it in fatal as well).
    Still the best suggestion is to not try to do this challenge solo.

    Even if you cut the progress in half of this 4th challenge you'd still be left with a hell lot of mindless grinding... which is NOT Okay!:mad:
    No wonder that people either quit the game or start to use bots and exploit everything they can out of your game, you're definitely asking for it.:rolleyes:

    Yes. Thank you, Doc. That nails it. I kept my overall opinion to myself until now, but that about sizes up this event. I kept hearing how it was the 'Holy Grail' of events here. Now I fully understand that I can't complete this event with even ONE toon, let alone two or three. The last mini was only 2 1/2 days, this one 3 1/2, and let's face it, as noted that doesn't count the DAYS spent collecting entrance fees. The drops are unimpressive (I'm sure on Infernal 3 they are brilliant, but then again, I can't run those levels yet, so it's moot). More to the point, ANY event becomes miserable when we have to spend days and weeks just trying to get INTO the event, only to discover that ... oh.... it's more grinding. I've completed every event DSO has thrown out so far, but not this one. Nor will I. As noted, the math doesn't pan out. I'm willing to Pay To Play. I'm not willing to Pay To Work.

    The event duration has been extended but no changes to the last challenge's schedule has been made ... that makes no sense at all. If you extend the event's play time ... then you have to shift the last challenge and extend it by at least a day. The way things are now the challenge will end and the event will still be running for another 4 days. What for? Killing Dragan and the Widow? I don't think anyone will farm more pearls just to run m1-m4 in order to get Empowered Pearls ... at least I won't.
    As for the community challenge ... reward the players who spent most empowered pearls ... not those who have most kills by leeching on other players.

    As for the drops in the last challenge ... It was already known you will need 15K-20K pearls. You should have raised your voice before the event started ... maybe the things would have been different ... just maybe.

    Feedback: The mini events are garbage. The farming requirements, as shown above by Baragain, are unacceptable.

    Second Feedback: The mini map (and event the four main map) entrance costs should be lowered, if not eliminated, and the progress needed to complete a mini should be lowered. 4-6 hours should an acceptable amount of time for a new level 55 to complete a mini in a weekend period. Not 10, not 20, not the entire weekend on a coffee jag.

    Third feedback: The high pearl entrance requirements are game killing. People are declining groups, and thus declining to play this game, because they don't have or want to farm the stupid pearls. Make the game easier play and make your money with premium, not pearls sales.

    I noticed that in iron forest the fire brutes are marked only for 1 second.Is it only for me or is it a general bug?I hope that the bug will be fixed,it's really annoying to mark the brutes every second.

    I strongly agree with this. I understand grind and commitment but this is out of control. I completed only the first mini. I'm not going to complete the 4th, or even earn the runes. It is sad because I like the maps, and I like to farm, but not endlessly.
    Do the devs not understand that it gets boring running the same map over and over and over again? I log in and what are my choices? I can farm some pearls, but should have done so prior to the mini. Oh but I was doing New Moon and other stuff. I was mixing it up trying to enjoy myself, almost as if I were playing a game. Sure I run the mini maps, because it breaks up the monotony of farming. Not like wasting pearls is a problem, or is it? I need to farm in advance of the next Dragan event so I am not stuck in the same boat. If I can spend the next few days farming 20 to 25k, I can dedicate myself to running the same mini maps over and over and over again. Boring as hell, sure, but at least I will get a few runes for my trouble.

    Hi, today we played with my friends dragan. We mostly killed him on inferno3 and from 30runs WE ALL got 29times boots, is this some bug or what???

    Boots are usually the most common Dragon drop. Helmet and ring are the rarest.

    Hi,
    regarding the dragan event i was interested, if maybe the bug, where dragan on inf3 COMPLETELY IGNORES the aggro spell from the warrior will be fixed?
    i mean, not that it influences gameplay in any way... just that you can't actually tank the boss, since he just runs around attacking whoever he wants to, no matter how hard you spam battle frenzy... and yes i have the aggro skilled in the talents tree. thanks bye

    1st mini-event, I was past the middle of the bridge into the hall where the good doctor hangs out, killing other mobs. As he came forward, I finished off the last of the normal mobs; as I moved to the edge of the bridge closest to his hallway, he retreated (as if I had run away, but I hadn't).

    When he reappeared, I killed him, but he dropped nothing. Not a huge loss, but … after killing the final champion swamp monster, I waited for the chest to activate … it didn't because the game didn't register that I had killed Jullov. Just to be certain, I ran back through the entire dungeon … there were no mobs of any kind left … returned to the chest, waited a minute, but the quest never finished, and I never got the 25 cursed candies (at Normal, the entire loot from mob/champion kills is only about 25-30, so that chest is about 1/2 the value of the 100 cursed pearl entry fee to the dungeon).

    Not happy. :-(

    There are other bugs too.
    When you are doing all the map quests (repeatable quests per dungeon) so you can open the wooden chests ... you can't finish them if you leave the map at certain point and enter again.
    I was in m2 and doing Call a Foe quest ... I have cleared the map and the game checked it as finished. Then the Demon spawned. On my way there the server crashed and after few minutes (I had restart the game) I got back in the game and cleared the map again. The Demon never showed up again. So it costed me 2x70 pearls. Then I have deleted the quest and took it over again.
    If you get out of those maps before finishing those RE quests (when the "kill all monsters" is marked as done) ... you better delete the quest and take it again.
    Also with the new level requirements per difficulty ... level 20 players are able to enter the castle in painful difficulty ... but they can't enter any of the maps. I don't know if they just forgot to change the requirements for the inner maps or they left them that way intentionally.

    You guys seem to have screwed up the defend/protect quests... The agent in Dungeon in the Sulfur Desert dies from 5 hits... and that's on normal mode.:confused: Let me see you protect that without any taunts.:rolleyes:

    Current dragan event is more like " Curse of the Black Boots - Return of Boot I " :D omg i cant hold myself back :D

    Monster's HP scales more than damage with map difficulty so it is easier to defend an NPC on higher difficulty than on normal difficulty (assuming player has decent damage).
